Grand View Hotel

It's closeness to town and attractions was quite good.

While the staff was very helpful, the hotel had not long been painted and you could smell it quite strongly. The room we had was very big, but there was nothing in there, no fridge, kettle or even a TV to keep the kids occupied and even shared a bathroom.

Loved the location. Nice rooms, comfy beds.

Bathroom wasn’t very clean. Went to make a cup of coffee and there wasn’t any milk.

Close to the train station. Easy to find. Room is nice and clean. Staff are friendly.

While the room was lovely and neat it reminded me of a modernized old English Inn. The staff were very welcoming.

Travelers should be made aware that there are ALOT of stairs. I battled with all my luggage and no assistance. No breakfast available which isn't critical as there are lovely coffee shops across the road, close to the train station.

Overall good, the bed was comfy.

The rooms are very cramped it looked bigger in the photos. Floor boards are squeeky can hear every step.

We stayed in the big, clean family room with a shared bathroom. The room was modern and had many facilities. Shared bathroom was large and clean.

Our room was facing the highway so it was loud and wouldn't be great for light sleepers. Would suggest they put up a small mirror in rooms with no bathrooms!

Good location, beautiful old building, friendly staff, good food

Share bathroom, didn't realise when booking that it was a shared bathroom, would not of booked it for that reason. But had no problems.

Good location close to the railway line. Friendly staff. Excellent food offerings for evening meal.

The hotel is a lovely old building that has been updated for comfort without spoiling its character or making it unaffordable. It has a friendly, unpretentious, family orientation. The bistro has plenty of choices to meet most tastes. There are numerous pleasant smaller rooms for a quiet drink, a tv lounge for guests as well as our clean, roomy, unfussy and comfortable room. The bistro was thankfully NOT NOISY and the location in beautiful Wentworth Falls excellent. It was quiet in our room despite being located on the main road.

Not having a toilet & bathroom in the room wasn’t ideal, & the traffic noise throughout the night being so close to the highway wasn’t great , but the bed was comfortable,the room was reasonably sized & clean also for us the location was convenient, Check in & was pleasant & the worker took us up to the room & showed us the hotels facilities as well as telling us of local cafes & shops Our experience at the Grand View Wentworth Falls was good, just a few things we weren’t used to too

Enjoy the 'pub' style atmosphere while accommodation is provided upstairs. Enjoyed the food/drink. The systems and arrangements in place to deal with accommodation and meals etc worked fine.

The room would have benefitted from some sort of small simple shelf/spot/bedside table on both sides of the bed, not just one side.

Clean, comfortable and great staff!

The cleanliness, comfort and tv room upstairs were lovely. Somewhere to relax and watch a big screen, without disturbing other guests.

I did not know that ensuite rooms were available and when I booked was given a small room without ensuite and had to use main bathroom. We were located next door, but still had to carry clothes etc and go out of our room to main bathroom. I would have preferred an ensuite room if I had known about it for convenience.

Staff were all so nice and friendly. The room was so tidy, the bathroom so spacious and clean.

Good location, affordable price, spacious room, clean toilets and friendly staff.

Bed was OK but it was pushed up against the wall. My husband had to climb over me to go to the bathroom. It also made it hard to sleep as it confined the bed space.

Clean and the staff were wonderful
