Pros +
- It rained most of the time we were in the Blue Mountains so it was wonderful to have such a beautiful place to relax. We loved the hot tub!The trails around the The Sanctuary were great, we saw lots of wildlife including an echidna.Meals from Christina (delivered right to the cabin) were an extra special treat.
- Such a magical, relaxing experience, a perfect balance of all the creature comforts immersed in all nature has to offer. Super comfortable bedding ensured a great sleep everynight, and recommendations for dining experiences were exceptional. A truly memorable weekend away.
- Beautiful scenery, quiet, hidden away, private and a hot tub - what more could you want
Cons -
- The only issue was our verandah spa did not have all the jets working properly so we couldn't get the full spa effect. But the temperature and water quality was still perfect.
- No oven
- Not enough paper towel, but we survived!

The most gorgeous little stay. The views are breathtaking, and the accommodation is so beautiful and so cosy. The little details just are to die for. Cannot fault one thing, its a must stay. Warm welcome by great staff, couldn't be any more helpful. Will be back for longer next time.
Peace, quiet and tranquillity. Privacy.
No oven
Had an amazing weekend, hot tub was to die for, views were breathtaking, atmosphere was immaculate! So cozy and exactly what we were searching for, the property itself was so beautiful and saw so much wildlife, birds, roos, butterflies and foxes!
Not enough paper towel, but we survived!
Location is very secluded, so the trip felt very much like an escape (which is what we were after). Nice that there was a jacuzzi. I enjoyed reading a book in the jacuzzi with the mountains as a backdrop! The cottage was nicely furnished and felt very cosy.
Everything, you can't fault this really. Everything you need is there. The styling is perfect, the location is stunning. If you're looking to get away from reality this is the place. We didn't use our phones at all, spotted kangaroos and monitor lizards. Will definitely be back
Super, super minor but frying pans could do with being replaced, and one or two of the nozzles in the jacuzzi didn't work but I was still in there all the time and didn't affect the experience!
Stunning! This place is a little slice of heaven. Beautifully presented, wonderful comfy bed, lovely modern bathroom, incredible detail in the cabin. Everything beautifully thought about. Loved every second.
Nothing - it was all perfect! Small thing - one of the outdoor bulbs was out and just needs to be changed.
Beautiful location, jacuzzi on the deck, welcome treats, fireplace
The cottage is in need of some maintenance (paint etc)
The seclusion, the nature and the spa. It was perfect
Nothing, cannot fault the place
such a peaceful little getaway. We stayed in the Amore cabin and loved it. The bed was comfy, clean cabin and spa was amazing. we felt like we were the only ones there. I would definitely stay again.
nothing, loved it all!
The surroundings are spectacular, the Cabin was clean, warm, cozy, romantic and everything we needed was available and in excellent condition.
There ‘s not one thing I didn’t like .
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin, Beautifully set out in the bush and the cabin, while small, was welcoming and cosy. Loved the spa and the fireplace.
Second time staying here. Love the spa with a view of the mountains and wood fire heater really set the vibe and kept us warm. The owner was very nice through messages and easy to communicate with.
The bed and pillows were terrible and we did not sleep well each night. This is the most important thing to get right so bit of a letdown and unfortunately we won't book again because of it.
Amazing walks, such a romantic spot, loved everything about staying
Road in can be a little tricky and the bathroom is a little dated but everything else is perfect!
I loved everything maya sanctuary had to offer. Being surrounded by nature, Jacuzzi was the highlight.
That my partner and I only booked for 2 nights wish we had stayed longer!!!
Great experience. Nice and quiet. Great place to escape the hustle of city life. Property is very quirky and cosy. The bush walks on the property are amazing with some special views. Julian and the staff are very accommodating and helpful even in short notice.
Everything it’s a little cabin away from the city! Your remote but still not to remote!
There is nothing I don’t like the only down fall is there should be a gas grill not electric or wood fire out side to cook on other then that nothing
Beautiful area, saw lots of wallabies and even a wombat! Hot tub was highlight of the cabin. Despite the cold weather the cabin was so well heated. Phone reception was great. Definitely reccomend going on one of the walks the owners have made at night to see the stars and really appreciate the area!
Nothing. Everything was perfect
