High Mountains Motor Inn

The room and kitchen facility was very clean and comfortable. The motel was in an extremely convenient location, with the Hanging Rock and Grand Canyon hikes being only a short drive away, and a supermarket being within walking distance. Overall we would strongly recommend this place if you are wanting a convenient, comfortable stay in the Blackheath area

Room was clean and comfortable. Beds were comfortable. Shower was good. Location was convenient to Town and various mountain activities.

Room was a little cramped for 4 people. Seemed a bit expensive.

The motel is an excellent base for a hiking weekend in the Blue Mountains. Our twin room was very clean and both the bedroom and bathroom looked to have been refreshed recently with modern fittings.

The twin room was a little small for two people plus bags - not a big deal for us as we were out walking during the day.

It was a good place for short notice. It's close enough to the scenic world and other areas.

It has carpet on the floor and it's old. Everything is old.

Great value for money. Although the room was a little small, it was clean and comfortable. It was within walking distance of some great eateries and the main street.

Motel is located on a busy road which made getting out a little difficult at times. However, I had researched the property and knew that might have been of concern.

The place is clean, parking is plenty, it locates right at the Western Highway, so even you are first timer, you won't miss it. but most importantly, it has fridge, microwave, and TOASTER in the room ! along with a shared kitchen with utensils. (no sharp knife though ) This means we make proper breakfast every morning at a fraction of a cost of eating out it is perfect for hikers who want a comfortable base oh, also, the bed has electrical blanket, it is so comfy in winter

the lightbuld in the room are a mix of white and yellow light, can be quite confusing if you are sensitive to mixing different colors of light in a room

A true gem. Walk to great coffee and restaurants.No noise.Great bedding and shower.

Absolute gem of a place for the price. We checked in late, communication was great, got in after close hours, they preheated our room for us so we were so warm and toasty on arrival. Great bathroom, not too big so heat stays in, great shower with screen so you keep the steam and heat in, no breeze. Clean and comfy with electric blankets. Outstanding. Will definitely stay again

The room was very well-equipped with heating/air-conditioning, an electric blanket, kettle, nice (clean, thick) towels and free toiletries in an en suite bathroom. The motel is conveniently located a short walk from the cafes and shops of Blackheath.

I travel overseas a lot and found the price a bit shocking, since similar accommodation in other countries costs significantly less.

Our room was very noisy- the traffic kept me awake most the night. No Foxtel in our room and we had no signal most of the time.

Clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. Milk and water in the fridge

My wife & I really enjoyed our stay,the room was, although old ,was clean & tidy & location was great,easy walk to town sqare.

Great location, really lovely room, love the communal kitchen facilities and BBQ area.

Friendly staff....nothing was a problem....quiet clean room with comfy bed.

LIKE : clean & newly renovated bathroom Nice Thai restaurant nearby (short walking distance)DISLIKE : narrow & congested space in the room itself, small beds, dirty air & noisy vehicles (esp. Trucks) next to the highway !! (My car was heavily coated with yellow dust parked overnight in front of the motel rooms !!!! Kitchen is filled with stale & unpleasant smells, not kept cleaned & hygiene readily for use.The whole motel is poorly maintained in general
