Blue Mountains Heritage Motel

The airconditioning was a bit too flashy in the nights. Kinda sleep disturbing

The comfy bed, decent sized room, great shower.

Unfortunately, no breakfast, and couldn't park there overnight due to upgrading the carpark. One coffee cup wasn't washed properly and put back in drawer. The reception being downstairs is impractical.

Location, clean, value for money

Great location, big room, friendly and helpful staff.

The room is in perfect location close to all shops and restaurants. The fridge/kettle were super handy for having a bit of food for breakfast. Overall good value.

It could have been cleaner specifically the carpets and things like vents in bathroom were layered with dust. The bed was ok

Nice location, near grocery and restaurants, permit to park at another motel near the echo point.

Facility is quite dated.

Room is perfectly clean and has microwave. Staffs are very polite.

There are no elevators for disables

Very charming hotel with excellent staff. We felt welcome and the deskclerk gave us a lot of info about the area. The room was spacious, clean and had a refrigerator and microwave. A great comfortable stay.

The hotel was centrally located and made it easy to explore Katoomba and the Blue Mountains.

The layout in the two bedroom was a little awkward. It would have been nice to have a sitting area.

Very comfortable beds. Nice to have microwave, kettle and refrigerator.

As an older person navigating the stairs with luggage was a challenge but we managed.

The location was great, Easy walk to the 3 sisters overlook.. The large tub was nice, even though the jets did not work. Bed was comfy. It's very close to the grocery and liqour stores so that was a plus. All in all it was a good stay,

We did not realoze thre was no elevator to the upstairs rooms. It is noted on the web site, I just did not read it. , I'm not sure how you know which room you will get until you check in. We had heavy luggage to carry of the flights of steps. The jetted tub in our room did not work, A small sign or being told at check in woud of saved us from trying to make it work. Apparently the motel will be undergoing renevations which it could use updating. Still a good stay for the price. I would not have paid more for this room.

Close to town

We had a king room in the old part at the front. So Noisy!! You can hear everything. People in next room talking on phones, banging every door and cupboard, people walking down hallway. Kitchenette provided but no toaster, sponge, tea towel or detergent so can’t wash up. Big gaps all the way around door so light shines in all night from the hallway. (See picture) Not enough parking spots in car park.

Our booking was for 3 rooms, we were split across the hotel, heating did not work in one of the rooms, bathroom drain was blocked in one of the showers and that bathroom did not have a sink. The house keeper was extremely rude as she made one of the rooms before our check out time and keys hadn't been handed in. She was upset that the toilet was used after cleaning. Never stay there.

Amenities and service was bad.

Location was close to main town/restaurants/grocery store and walkable to 3 Sisters.

Spa jets didn't work in the Spa Room but bathtub was nice nonetheless

Windows had slight draft coming through, bathroom ceiling/walls were mouldy due to lack of ventilation, lacked bathroom shelves/towel hangers, bedroom for 4 but only 2 chairs

Bathroom a bit dirty with mold on the corner and the shower door is broken so you literally have to lift it up instead of sliding it.

This motel is really good value for money. The beds are comfy, linen is clean and towels are fresh each day. The room sizes are great. Hot water never ran out despite 4 people showering.

The carpets have holes in them. Stains are in the hallway carpets too. Some of the paintings are falling off the walls but maybe this is part of the vintage look and feel of the place.

Close to everything…shops, restaurants, laundry service etc

Need to change the carpet, looks dirty, lots of stains.
