Hotel Residence Costa Azzurra - Panoramic Swimming Pool and Free Parking

We had very nice, big room with a large balcony and view to sea and the mountains and across the village. There was airconditioning, room was spacious and clean, with beautiful furniture and decoration.The pool area is my favourite and the reason I chose to return to this hotel. It's beautiful and well taken care off and the pictures do not even show its beauty. I visited this hotel before in 2023 and at that time breakfast was a more simple with coffee machine, bakery, cerial, jams and yogurt. But now they have made the breakfast just perfect and I was amazed! In addition to all mentioned before, there is fresh red onion, tomatoes, salad, fried bacon and eggs. The shuttle bus to the beach is perfect, because the walk in steap road is pretty heavy on a hot day.

Beds have pretty hard madress, but I am quite sensitive of this matter and my roommates weren't bothered by it.A minor discomfort was to find out that the pool bar doesn't offer snacks, only drinks.Another discomfort was that we didn't remember to ask our passports back while leaving, so staff kept them. We went all the way to Lamezia Terme and had to return all the way back to Ricado to get those back. A bit more help from the staff would have been nice, since it seemed to have been a mistake from both sides to forget the documents.

Breakfast exceptional, Hotel located in a quite area with easy transport access to the beach, very clean room.

No fridge in the room you have to pay extra for that service.

Close to Tropea, nice and helpful employees. Pool with palm trees day and night.

Better than expected. Really nice pool-area. The food (Friday buffet) was great. A band playing traditional songs during the dinner was great.The hotel was close to fantastic beaches.

1. We checked in just before 11pm. At approx 11:30pm we received about 3 calls to our phone in the room, to which nothing could be heard. We then tried to call reception but there was no number which we could get them on and the phone did not work. We called off our own phone which the receptionist needed confirmation of my date of birth at 11:30pm.. 2. We stayed for two nights. We could not get a proper nights sleeps due to the constant noises throughout the hotel. Doors being slammed at all hours. Shouting and banging sounds very frequently. 3. The bed is extremely uncomfortable and had two mattresses of different heights put together. 4. There was no hairdryer in the room. When we called to reception we were told to go down to get one. The hairdryer was a tiny flip up hairdryer that was really sticky and dirty. We brought it back down to them as we were too disgusted to use it. 5. The English speaking staff were rude every time we had any questions which was probably a maximum of three times.

Nice hotel with great view, good breakfast.
