Pros +
- The location was amazing being right on the beach
- It's a nice place with its own beautiful beach and wonderful views of the sea.The sea is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen, it’s calm, and you can see fish swimming near the coast. There are activities like kayaking, pedal boats, or snorkeling. You can swim, or why not just float and relax there The hotel has a shuttle that goes from the pool to the restaurants and back. There is also a mini market that’s handy for picking up some groceries you might need. The restaurant is nice, with a balcony that overlooks the whole beach. The food is good — breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks. There is space designed for little ones — the pool is one of them — but adults can enjoy it as well. The hotel is close to Tropea (about 30 minutes by car) each ride 30€ or you can pay in the reception the round trip 70€. It’s a beautiful town with lovely beaches. If you go there, you can choose to stay at a public beach free of charge (but you’ll need to bring your own parasol), or you can pay €35 for the day and have a parasol, two sunbeds, and be close to the bar. This beach is near the port, but it’s not the first one, the first beach is small and public. The second one, with the restaurant and bar, is the one where you pay and can stay all day. We'll come back!
- We liked the location because it was all inclusive with a beach and a great place to relax. It was beautifully landscaped (great gardener) and the staff was helpful and friendly.
Cons -
- Was difficult to find as the location there was no real address for the hotel other than a beach location
- Well, one of the problems is that not everyone speaks English, and they don’t explain things very well. The hotel is quite far from the airport, about an hour away, so you need transportation to get there and back. When we called, they told us that transport was included. Yes, it’s “included” — for €200: €100 to pick you up from the airport and €100 to take you back. This was our first misunderstanding. When we arrived, the receptionist immediately started charging us but didn’t explain that it was €100 per ride. Okay, we paid.Another extra charge was €55 for arriving after midnight. They never mentioned this, and we had called twice before the trip — they knew our schedule. But okay, there was nothing we could do; you’re in the middle of nowhere at midnight. They offer all the facilities, transport, and tours, but you can save money if you plan ahead. On Booking.com they list the activities available, and you can easily find transport online yourself.Another thing we didn’t like was the pool schedule. It’s only open from 9 AM to 12 PM and then from 4 PM to 8 PM. We believe that with good protective measures, the pool could stay open all day, from 9 AM to 8 PM. They say the restricted hours are because of the strong sun at midday, but the same sun is at the beach, and that doesn’t close! Also, when the lifeguard has a day off, the pool just stays without a guard. There were jellyfish, not many; we saw one. But it stung a girl the day before we went out on a pedal boat. When the girl was stung, the lifeguards put aloe vera on her, but no one warned the people who were still in the water. Only those on the beach found out because of the girl’s screams. The next day, when we saw a jellyfish, we told the lifeguard. The only response was, “Yes, it’s piccola (tiny),” and nothing more — no warning, no sign, nothing. We’d come back, now that we know this and can look after our own safety. It's a Paradise!
- We should have stayed longer

We should have stayed longer
Perfect location, excellent for families. The food was excellent! Lots of gluten free options for breakfast and on the restaurant's menu!
Wi-Fi signal was very unstable at times
The location is extremely beautiful for a beach holiday and situated in a lovely garden.Very peaceful and relaxing. The apartment was spacious and private close to the mini market and pool The restaurant serves great pizzas The shuttle up and down the hill is fantastic and well needed
We found the different times for different menus a little confusing The check in time is also very lateThe mini market is truly under stocked The shower could have been cleanerIt would be helpful if basic cleaning aids were provided as it’s a nuisance to have to buy everything I think providing soap in the bathroom would also be a benefit
We loved the private beach, it's perfect for swimming. There's a minimarket and bar beside the pool, very handy.
The calm of its surroundings, the closeness to facilities like pool and market. The fact that the parking space was just behind our accommodation and the sun beds being part of the deal (very useful when you travel with backpacks and have limited space). The fact that our accommodation was independent. The little terrace. The kindness of the staff and the shuffle service.
Just the fact that you need to buy things like dish soap or toilet paper and when you stay just a few days, if you cannot take these things home with you, they go to waste. I would recommend selling smaller size items in the market.
It's located on a great private beach. It's peaceful and you can snorkle. The nearby towns (such as Tropea) are beautiful.
Beach accessPoolLocationHelpful staff
Extra charges for things like towelsWatch out for jelly fish in the seaYou definitely need a car
Location ,close to the beach ,superior rooms
BreakfastPoor selection, we had to constantly ask for more food . Small selection of fruit and vegetables Squash, not juices, in Italy really☹️ expected real juices .
During check in we were offered an upgrade for our stay. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The resort grounds were well maintained. The resort had their own private beach.
Nothing. It was all great.
Great location, friendly staff
Very basic kitchen equipment. For example no wine glasses.
The view from the room was wonderful.
The room and furniture were really old. We expected better conditions as on the picture.
The beach, staff, food and the resort.
The pillows were not comfortable
We like that the room was closer to the swimming pool and the shuttle service to the beach was excellent and whenever you want. The serivce people in the pool/ minimarket were very generous and kind. We liked the beach and the dinner options in the evening in Eden restaurant. The lunch options were limited than the dinner . The Aircon worked well in the room .
There no much to do other than beach , swimming pool . The cost in the minimarket extremely high than supermarket (wine that cost 3 euro cost 6 euro ,or hotdogs that cost 1 euro cost 2 ) and also limited of products. There is no cheap service to take you to supermarket/ town if you don't have a car . So basically you "stuck" between swimming pool and beach spending lots of money on the minimarket, restaurant and services that they offer you without flexibility to choose from. We stayed a week without car with 2 kids (11,15) .I think more than 3 nights it is waste of time/ money. Book a year before prices much cheaper.
If you are looking for a quiet hotel right next to the beach then this is ideal. Our room was 2 minutes walk from the beach and restaurant/breakfast room. If you wanted to use the pool you could either walk up the hill or they would shuttle you up if you asked. The restaurant was very good quality and the staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast offering was good. The room was a good size and the bed comfortable with plenty of pillows which was perfect for me. All in all a nice stay all around.
Ideally the shower in the room could have been more powerful and although you got two deck chairs and a parasol reserved for you on the beach I don't think it would have been too much to have had sunbeds rather than deck chairs. For sunbeds you had to pay extra.
It's a beachfront hotel, rooms have AC, the breakfast was nice, late in the evening when we arrived the staff opened the little grocery store of the hotel just for us, and we liked the atmosphere of the bar in the eve.
The mini fridge wasn't properly cooling, and there were some nasty mosquitos we didn't encounter elsewhere in this region.
Location and hospitality are top notch! Our stay was just perfect. The village is beautiful and super well organized and managed! The beach and the sea amazing, the staff lovely! Highly recommend
Perfect location, very good beach. We've stayed in 2 bedroom appartment located 250m from sea. The appartment was really big in middle of lovely garden. The beach can be reached by shuttle which is free of charge and comes quickly on demand (we really appreciated that). Although the beach is still in walkable distance, I recommend to use rather the shuttle. The distance to beach is 250m as crow flies, but on foot it is rather 500m with 80m elevation. There is also a tiny swimming pool, it is rather for kids but still OK.
We really liked the stay and we would like to return. The below points are just few suggestions to improve:- Upon arrival the rooms were a bit dank- The WiFi was NOT working most of the time in the area of appartments (you get vouchers with access code, but the connection works only sometimes)
