- The beds were very hard. The shower head had fallen off. It just all looked tired on the interior. The dining area was rather stuffy but could have been improved with a fan or open windows. The bar staff were lovely.
- Hard beds, and very tricky finding out if beach chairs are free or not - on arrival we were told free, on the beach we were told we ned a voucher, asking for the voucher in reception we were told its 20 euros a day for sunBEDS - pay 20 euros, go to beach and be refused sunBEDs, instead get beachCHAIRS - get told by the beachwatch that the chairs are free but they need to be paid 10 euros for beds if we want that. Very confusing, better to not take grotticelle beachCHAIRs for 20 euro and rather pay 25 with no stress for same beds 3 meters before

The Staff at the Grotticelle went out of their way to be as professional and courtious as possible if not even just a little more. The Hotel is clean and inviting... Breakfast is just as perfect !!
The rooms need a little bit of care... the doors and locks need to be renovated or changed, in my opinion... very noisy...even too much for the other guests nearby when opening and closing. The rest was great.
Beautiful building, gardens and pool. Lovely , well maintained property.
Staff were slow and off hand. The hotel is not beachfront, as is described, it is a 300 metre walk down hill to the beach, They do have a bar (separate building) on the beachfront.
