Hotel Villa Marina

The staff were very friendly and the hotel was in a good location.

Rooms were very outdated, bed not comfortable at all and the noise level was so bad that you couldn't aleep. Early in the morning the cleaning staff were outside rooms talking very loudly with no consideration of guests trying to sleep. I would not stay here again and it definitely wasnt worth the money.

It took a very long time to get hot water, such a waste of good water ; the toilet seat was crooked

We stay there for one night while visiting La Maddalena. Perfect for one or two nights ! Clean room with private bathroom and comfy firm beds!

Great location- Short Walking distance from the marina and centre of Maddalena town, in a residential part which is away from the hustle and bustle. A supermarket is 170metres away.

No dedicated parking spaces for hotel clients, which is a problem when the town is busy.Old furnishings. Needs updating. Doesn't inspire you to stay long indoors.My third floor room at night time, I could hear the constant drone of some pump. Which was low but anyway present.

The location is perfect very central and you can easily walk to the town center

The view facilities are a little dated but all still functioning

We checked in at 17:00 and left the luggage in our room. When we came back at 21:00 there were lots of ants in our room. We got a new room but unfortunately the ants were already on our stuff.In addition the AC was mediocre and a bit dirty and was not turned on before we got into the room (neither the original nor the new) so it took almost an hour to make the room little bit colder but not enough to be comfortable. The rooms are very old and could use some refreshing

This is a wonderful, quiet hotel in La Maddelena, friendly helpful staff with excellent English language skills, which helps a lot!

Great value for money, 'old school' hotel. Superbly located for La Maddalena town, very friendly & helpful staff. Room was exceptionally clean. Will be using again, without a doubt.

Town centre is obviously a bit noisy, and some guests were noisy too.

The breakfast wasn't great. There were only 5 tables and not much choice. The coffee and croissant were ok

Super comfy bed, convenient location, good air con, great sized room, helpful reception. Great value for a last minute holiday extension. Pretty easy to find parking. Generally super clean.

It needs a little TLC - some minor repairs and things could do with looking at e.g. the orange grouting in the shower, a toilet which sprays water when flushed, the loo roll holder which isn't straight (and so the loo roll falls off), the holder for the bidet towel which is loose and falls off, the broken wood where it looks like the door had to be forced and broken off around the lock. I really didn't like the cleaning staff knocking to "check whether we had left" over an hour before check out. Especially given the use of smart phones now being prevalent, it's super easy to inform cleaners when people have checked out. I am aware that in some places they do it to make sure that you are awake and nudge you to leave more quickly - not appreciated. Could do with instructions about where the air con is and how to turn on - seems obvious but tired people might not spot it behind the curtains :)
