We liked the space in the apartment (2 bedrooms). The equipment in the kitchen was good. Nice that we had the opportunity to swim everyday. A quiet surrounding.

The cleanliness was not very good and a lot of mosquitos.

First time in Menorca and I loved have Son Bou beach as the backyard and playground, this is the longest beach in the island and also a gateway for anyone who wishes to explore other beaches by hike/foot. Also the chiringuitos/kiosks at the beach are AMAZING with great food and service, note I came here OFF SEASON so it was very CALM! The walking distance to the beach was also reasonable.

The units were a little confusing to FIND, once you figured out your location, then we were ok!

Great location, very quiet, clean etc

We had a pleasant stay at San Bou Garden. The staff was wonderful, always ready to help with recommendations, arranging taxis, and promptly replacing a broken kettle. The accommodation was comfortable, and the off-season atmosphere kept things peaceful, despite the thin walls. Overall, a nice experience.

We were placed on the ground floor with no sea view despite of available rooms upstairs with sea view, where they had clients for just couple of days from our 10 day stay. No flexibility towards later departure despite end of season and availability of free rooms.Location: 1.5 km to the beach. The entrance to the beach is only one and in the end of the road. We like to hike so it was no problem for us.

Not all apartments have the same equipment. Could be a bit noisy late at night with people talking

Near all facilities, good support from reception, beautiful gardens and location very peaceful when we went, short walk to pool and beach, easy parking and private appartments with balconies back and front. Fresh decor and bedding. Conveniet to drive anywhere on island - not far to anything and easy roads!

The appartment was basic, the kitchenette and bathroom were adequate but really needed refreshing but the price reflected this which we understood.

Two bedrooms which suited my daughter and myself perfectly. Nice apartment comfortable.

No essentials provided which would have helped. Buying seasonings, washing up liquid while away for a week was a dragFurther from town and beach than expected as no idea where allocated until check in. As an oldie I didn’t want to walk to and fro twice a day as it was challenging

Location and position were very good. Near the beach, shops and restaurants.

The apartment was in a bad state. One of the bedroom door didn’t stay closed, the wardrobe doors didn’t work, it lacked kitchen stuff and, most importantly, it was dirty with 3 inches bugs wandering around.

The staff at the recepción was very nice.

They sent us a message in advance describing they wouldn’t be providing any kind of shampoo, body soap, dish soap, change of towels and toilet paper. I consider that is basic things that should be provided.

Great location and value for money at the price paid.

They have a WhatsApp service for any issues which you do receive a reply too but no follow up seems to happen with the issue. First world problems in the scheme of things as it's a great location and a good resort, visit the bakery on the complex for great coffee at fantastic prices when you are used to the UK coffee shops.

We have been coming to Son Bou gardens for years and absolutely love the location and the apartments here! Gorgeous apartment as we were allocated the one we requested which we have stayed in for a few years, and this apartment is always really clean, bright and airy! It has a lovely kitchen/ lounge area and two balconies with seating. Bakery just round the corner that serves the most delicious breakfast and lunch treats, gift shop and supermarket also very close! Two lovely pool areas with bars attached. It always feels like a home from home, and I feel safe here travelling with my young daughter. Wouldn’t hesitate to book here again, we visit in early May so not everything is in fully swing for the season, but we love seeing the locals get ready for the season and the beach is beautiful at this time of year

The original apartment we were allocated wasn’t the same standard as the one we requested but the staff managed to accommodate us and move us to the one we had requested upon booking

Peaceful for time of year

Not very well equipped kitchen. Could not get hob to work. No instructions in English and no one to ask. For time of year no heater provided and few blankets for number of beds. Needed a smartphone to get in for WhatsApp which should be mentioned when booking as I don't have one. This made it almost impossible to communicate and get in.

I was extremely glad that some one called me back when I arrived at the Son Bou Gardens reception office. The reception office was closed at the time. I do not remember the ladies name, but she was very nice and came quickly. She provided me with the keys and gave me a tour of the apartment. I arrived in the off season, so I expected minor problems. I would recommend Son Bou Gardens to other visitors. My advice for over seas visitors, call or send an email before you get there to confirm your reservation to make your arrival more smooth.

I was an American visitor. My biggest problem was dealing with my cell phone working in Spain. By changing my SIM card to a Spain cell phone provider, I lost all contact with my American email and phone number. It made it very difficult to make contact with property personal with the new Spain phone number. Suggest someone be at the reception desk the day visitors are do in with reservations.

Cleanliness and comfort, staff helped us with brocken remote control and was in touch via WhatsApp, place was very quiet in April, kitchen had all the utensils needed. Bus stop was very near and buses are easy to use

The apartment was clean and comfortable. It has a well equipped kitchen . However , no toiletries were provided and we arrived on a bank holiday weekend, we couldn’t wash our hands as all the shops were closed .

Son Bau is a holiday resort where everything is shut from late September to May . Nothing was opened apart from a bakery and an Italian cafe . You need a car to move as it feels as a ghost resort . I wouldn’t visit this place again if not in the high season .
