Hotel Flamingo

Location next to beach good; rooms, grounds and public areas all clean and well maintained.Staff were brilliant - help with carrying luggage upstairs, evening reception gave brilliant recommendations on restaurants and evening barman made a brilliant negroni.

Not the fault of the hotel but the Beach is average at best; showers by pool weren’t working and only one set of steps to enter a pool that is either 1.2m or 2.2m deep is not enough. Evening menu was very basic (maybe as I was later in season?) but front desk staff were brilliant at recommending somewhere in Pula that was the incredible. Breakfast was pretty basic, machine coffee is not good for a 4star facility and they ran out of several things which weren’t replaced despite being in middling their service hours. Overall facilities are more 3 star but staff are definitely 4 star.

The whole resort is very nice and gives the feeling that you are in a natural paradise. The staff is very kind a nd doing a great job. We have celebrated the Ferragosto in the hotel which was amazing and very luxorious. The breakfast and the dinner at Wild duck are very exclusive. Thank you for everyting!

At the beach the stones in the water could cause issues for kids and older people.

location was great if you like peaceful and quiet. The beach was great. If you like pools that was perfect. the rooms spacious and clean. meals were very nice. prefer a buffet for all inclusive especially if you are vegetarians but they were very accommodating for our needs.

front staff were not the friendliest especially since that is the first people you see day in and day out. only one guy (I think his name was Mariano?) was always friendly and helpful with suggestions when needed .. with a smile. the others seemed like they could not be bothered. Wait staff were amazing. Housekeepers very discreet and nice and cleaned well. The breakfast was nice but could maybe have something different every day like a special egg or one thing different. otherwise, it was a great breakfast. Overall, everything was great.

Perfect location, with access to a beach

The system of signing for every single item bought at the restaurant/bar (from a bottle of water to an espresso) is rather old fashioned. At the end I accumulated and incredible number of pieces of paper … a waste of paper and I suppose a waste of time for the staff who then have to double check everything and debit to the room manually! A digital system would make things much faster with so much less paper!

Great food , everything was clean and tidy, waiters service was great (obliging, welcoming), especialy our dinner waiter Benedicto :) Beach was tidy and water was clean, hotel was fully occupied but there eas enough space for swimming and relaxing.

The food is great and on high level. Romms are new and clean. We were very satisfied with the friendliness of the staff. It was really a fantastic experiance.

The entrance to the sea can be difficult for the elderly, as the stones are very slippery. Otherwise, the beach is nicely arranged with sun loungers and shade.

Great location o my 40 min drive from Cagliari and 10 min car from supermarket. Staff was great, friendly and welcoming always happy to help. The highlight of the property is the private beach. The food in general is very good quality and surprisingly went above my expectations.

There are huge stones in the sea and you need appropriate shoes to protect your feet. Other than that everything was absolutely amazing

I stayed at Hotel Flamingo and had a truly pleasant experience. I had booked a “I Nidi” double room and was kindly upgraded to a sea view room, with free access to the spa included.The location is beautiful, surrounded by nature and just a few steps from the beach. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable.I really appreciated the kindness of the staff and the well-kept common areas.Breakfast was rich, varied, and of excellent quality — a great way to start the day.Overall, a very enjoyable stay, perfect for those looking for relaxation, nature, and good service. I would definitely love to come back!

The accomodation was good, clean, and comfortable. The staff was also very helpfull. The food was outstanding, extreamly tasty and each course dinner was prepared with special attention.

It was a pity to have constant attempts for extra charges for everything, which created a Ryanair or Wizzair feeling, even through the hotel was quite expensive. An example being: on the beach, the umbrella and the sun beds are available only for extra charge as well as the towels. During dinner, even the water is not included as part of the half board package, which was another extra charge.The pool was great, big and clean. But, as there is practically no control on the entrance, there are a lot of people coming that are not guests of the hotel, and it is sometimes very crowded, especially during the weekends.Although the resort is very good, it is located in the middle of nowhere. No other hotels nor accommodations nearby, no shops, not even a mini market. The connection with public transport is also bad.

The dinner as well as separating my party into 2 different restaurants, room had no ac , pool not accessible for someone who is overweight a ladder not fully attached to the concrete

The breakfast is very low quality, industrial food.The facilities are all right. Sound proofing is non existant. Very loud. Smell of humidity in the room that doesn’t go away. We tried to charge our phone but not a single plug was working… ridiculous. Air con is not working well. The staff is nice.

Second honeymoon, we returned for the famous beach, and the tiramisu :-) Both lived up to our expectations, our memories! The rooms were all upgraded a year ago and look very nice. Kitesurfing is a secret plus for those who like active holidays! Thanks Ubaldo for taking such good care of us.

Outdated hotel with extremely unfriendly stuff , poor quality of food and zero service

The proximity to the beach is fantastic, and its location in nature makes it special. The staff were very helpful and friendly and did their best despite the basic conditions and restrictions of some of the strange policies. The cleaning staff are professional, hard-working and pay much attention to detail.Walking up the beach to the Tiki-bar is a nice alternative to over-priced drinks.

This is nowhere near 4-star level.Flooded sewerage drains on a regular basis.You don't choose your restaurant, it's pot-luck based on the room you are assigned. The Wild Duck food and ambiance are both very disappointing. You need to PAY extra to rent beach towels (non-refundable)You need to PAY extra to use the sunbeds on the beach!!There are no irons/ ironing boards provided. Imagine. Nowhere. Instead you can avail of their laundry service which starts at eur6.50 for a dress to be ironed....Mattresses are very hard.The gym is not worth mentioning.The tennis court is old and dilapidated. Music at the pool is far too club-like during the day. The DJ should probably look at the guests' ages and figure out a better mix for older people and families with young kids. There were no groups of 20s-30s who might have enjoyed the music. The rest of us were there to relax, not party during the day.

The bar staff and manager were the only good things about this place

Not to mention the below items, we had to leave 3 days early due to a pregnancy related medical emergency and when we tried to recover the cost for these days we didn’t stay at the property, they referred us to Booking.com staff and when the Booking.com staff tried repeatedly to contact the property they ignored them. Very unprofessional. * Clogged sink* Moldy/unclean drain smell in the bathroom* Tennis courts with no net and broken concrete * Served a drink in a broken glass (sharp edge)* Shrimp not been cleaned* Octopus too salty and tough* Beef extremely dry* Only ate 1 antipasti 1.5 primi and 2 dessertHotel Flamingo Management, I am awaiting your reply.

Overall it was a lovely place to stay ; excellent pool and beaches with a relaxing Spa. The local bus to all the beaches was great

Location good, Dinner was good with plenty of choices! Familiar staff from previous visits 20"12, 2015 and 2018 pleased to see us and gave a warm welcome!

Lack of spa and indoor pool! Would have been especially useful during bad weather. Superior room listed bathrobes and slippers and kettle with teas etc. NOT IN ROOM, had to ask! Requested help with A/C control, nothing happened. Breakfast choice was a bit limited given reason as 'early in the year'! Smoking in the outside enclosed area of the bar was unpleasant!
