Kamari Beach Hotel

Fantastic staff, beautiful place, great breakfast. The pool is brilliant, and the cleanest we've seen anywhere. Every bit as good as the pictures.I'd thoroughly recommend staying at this location.

A little bit dated but still functional.

The location of the hotel is great. There is a pool and my son really like it. The staff is great! Very kind and helpful people. The room was cleaned every day and every day they give us a new towels. Breakfast was really good.

The doors are really thin and we can hear everything what happened outside. This was really annoying because my son was awake every time! The hotel needs a renovation and it is a little overpriced. There is only snacks - but not every day! If you want to eat normal launch or dinner you need to go to the next hotel or to the town.

We found the hotel crew (reception, beach bar) always smiley, kind and very supportive to our needs. Very warm atmosphere overall. We did appreciate the breakfast terrace view, beach proximity and corners for retreat while not on the beach. We appreciated the aerated beach and full of possibilities for small walks on the nearby (cliffs and small church).

This was our 3rd year in row in Kamari Beach hotel, Breakfast was great, room was still in good condition and maintained well.

Our parents have been coming to this hotel for more than 20 years. This year, we came with a larger group. As every year, this year, too, all the staff made us feel at home again with their cheerful demeanor and amazing helpfulness.We would like to extend our sincere thanks especially to Romilios and Dimitra, who quickly and cheerfully resolved our challenging requests, and of course, Ms Areti.The hotel has a wonderful beach. The staff are always very cheerful, friendly, and helpful.It is a delightful hotel that we would recommend to everyone coming to Thassos.

The only inconvenience was the floor because we were on the last floor but it wasn’t such a big problem

Position of the hotel it's great, right on the beach.

It is mandatory to change the pictures from Booking because they don't match the reality. We had a shock when we arrived at the hotel.

The only good thing about was the location

The suite we booked did not have a door at the bathroom. After we complained we were transfered to a regular room because there was no other suite available. We asked for a money refund (the difference of the price of the two rooms). The hotel manager told us that the hotel had a no refund policy. We insisted that since the problem at the room was the hotel's responsibility the hotel should compensate us and asked to speak to the owner of the hotel. The manager denied to give as any information about the owner (name, telephone or email). After 2 nights, that another suite was available, we were transfered there but we had no money refund for the two nights that we had a room downgrade. Also there was not enough parking for all the residents and although we booked 2 rooms for 4 nights only 1 night we found a parking in the hotel. The rooms are overpriced comparing to the quality.

The staff was very friendly and the location amazing! Excellent environment and all were friendly with the kids and families.Breakfast was so nice with variety of foods and the location of breakfast was perfect!

Value for money. It was a bit expensive for us. The floor in the kids' swimming pool wasn't in good condition.

Location is great, close to beach and nearby city Potos.

Room maintenance very poor , shower head not working, very difficult to have a shower, drain has no cover , a toddler foot can easily trap insidе , bathroom itself doesn't have any privacy, we were going to public toilet at first floor ,as its all glass and missing blinds and curtains, which makes it very difficult with kids. Fridge not chilling, due to its size you can't fit no more than 2 bottles of small water.

Very nice and clean hotel (daily cleaning). The swimming pool is impressive. It is located on the beach, free sunbeds for the guests. Breakfast is very good. There are 2 good restaurants nearby for lunch and dinner.

It is a little bit far from the center, but this is compensated by the quiet surroundings.

It is our favorite place to stay on Thassos. Very calm, relaxing place with huge pool and pool bar and the beach just a step upfront. It is our second time in the hotel and we will surely come back here again!

Large bed, very comfortable. Large room. Private beach and pool very nice and clean. Nice balcony with sea view. Private parking free of charge. Fairly clean, the cleaning lady came every day to clean the rooms. Breakfast included with a variety of food. Nice natural light.

The bathroom had a glass door with a direct view to the toilet that couldn't be obstructed, so you could see perfectly a person that was on the toilet. The shower smelled a little of mold. There were spiderweb on the balcony. The coffee was awful also the water and juice was from a dispenser, not fresh as you would expect from a hotel with that price. There were no propper lights in the room, if a woman would want to do her makeup there were no lights to use. The furniture was glued with scotch tape in some places.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and nice. The location is unique as the hotel is located near the beach.

The internet signal was weak and very slow.

We enjoyed the pool, the private beach being very close. The personnel was very friendly, always trying to help us with what we needed. Breakfast was diverse so you could find some options, in case you were picky.We were nicely surprised by the extra bed that we found placed in the room for our child.

We would have needed some mosquito repellent device in the room. The glass bathroom door was a pain, as being a family with a kid that who kept bumping into it because he never saw it. Even thought the hotel was renovated, you could still see some wires hanging from the ceiling in the room.

We liked a lot location, position of the hotel is very nice, there is beach in front and that is super convenient. Sraff are very welcome and friendly, always wants to help and to resolve everything what is necessary. Swimming pools are also nice and not overcrowded.

Size of room is very small and not enough space for clothes and some other things. No convenient bad for kids. For couple is maybe ok but for family definitely not. In general we think that price that we paid for this hotel is not realistic and too much money comparing with other hotels that we visited in the past for that amount of money.
