Plakias Bay Hotel

Staff was great. Perfect location for our stay. Sea couple of minutes walk. Tasty breakfast. Comfy beds and inside the room was quiet from cicadas' sounds.

Great hotel, very nice staff and amazing variety at breakfast. The room was comfortable and with a beautiful view of the city and the sea. In a quiet part of Plakias, which we really appreciated. Absolutely recommended.

People, location, atmosphere.

An excellent choice for your stay in Plakias! The hotel is in a calm angle of the village with an amazing view day and night. Big comfortable room with a good bed, super clean and a nice bathroom. The morning buffet was very good and the staff were super kind and always trying to help. Recommended and a good value for money. The hotel could use some minor renovation (mainly the doors and windows) but the traditional character it has kept, makes it unique and cute.

Perfect location and amazing view across the bay. Lovely rooms, small but nicely decorated and everything you needed. Amazing buffet breakfast - lots of healthy choices. We ate at the restaurant for dinner a few nights and it was really delicious. Staff were lovely.

Maybe a change of cups and glasses as we could only rinse them out in the bathroom sink

Fantastic view of the bay from the rooms and from the restaurant. Good value for money. The room is simple but well organized and nice. It is 10 minutes walking from the restaurants and bars area so it is very quiet at night.

Breakfast can be improved as well as the coffee machine ☺️

Location of the property is ideal. Near to the beach and the town, everything walking distance! Very friendly welcome by the owner.Nice room size and great view from the balcony!

The room seen better days. Plain and simple, shower not practical and tiny. Breakfast very limited and simple. The 2 ladies working there should wash their hands after mopping up the floor before they give more bread to the guests or cutting the cucumbers and tomatoes. Hygiene is an important issue, and welcomed by all.

This is a family hotel located at the end of Plakias bay, it is in very quiet location (no main road near the hotel). The hotel was recently renovated, rooms are nice and clean, comfortable beds. This hotel was mostly visited by couples, so very quiet guests. The owners are very nice. Breakfasts were delicious. We also had one dinner - they cook some traditional Greek food that I never ate before anywhere in Greece, very tasty. I would return to this hotel next time.

Perfect location. Very quiet , due to the fact the road stops at the hotel. No traffic. The hotel is very beautiful, without unnecessary luxury. As far as I could see most (all?) of the rooms have a double and a single bed and a terrace. The staff is friendly and easy going. The restaurant serves very good price/quality food. It’s a perfect location to come to rest. The fact that there is a naturist beach in front of the hotel made it perfect, but for those who prefer textile there is plenty of other beaches just minutes walking further.

A great location and very friendly people. I was welcomed with a smile. The hotel has an excent courtyard area with olive trees, table and chairs and amazing views. An exceptional area to have a drink. I didn't try the restaurant but the menu looked amazing and I shall try it next time. Great sunset view. I shall return.

There wasn't really anythign to not like about the place.

location remote from the village center, so quiet and private. beach within 10 mins of slow walk. surrounded by trees an flowers. brilliant taverna with great local quisine. clean. nice staff. great breakfasts.

Best hotel in town due to amazing location - quiet but close to city center and best beach. Amazing architecture - all rooms have amazing beach view and intimacy. A lot of nature around. Good breakfast, clean rooms, nice personelle.

The location was perfect. - Beach(great) is 50m from the hotel- Spectacular view on the Plakias bay and the mountains behind.- Close to good taverns and super market- Really beautiful nature all around the hotelThe area is less touristy comparing to Chania area in high season and more relaxing.Very good beaches are few km away.The hotel itself- The staff was very helpful- It was very clean- Has everything necessary- Terrace was good size with great view- Breakfast was deliciousDefinitely happy with our stay.

It’s situated on the hill top with an amazing view of the beach. We could walk to the beach and have a drink at the nearby cafe/bars. It had a super cold mini-fridge for our water. ? The breakfast buffet was quite good with a nice seating area. The manager was very welcoming and let us borrow beach towels.

There was no safe in the room for our valuables.

It was amazing experience to stay at Plakias Bay Hotel. People are very kind, rooms are clean, cozy and authentic, food is tasty and atmosphere is fantastic. The hotel has nice view and beach just may be 10-20 metres from it. Thank you!

Mr. Yangos and his team are the people in their places. They will gladly advise and help you with everything you need as a guest. The hotel is smaller, but very cozy in a beautiful and quiet place. The room provides a perfectly adequate space for two people. The view from the balcony is unforgettable. Room cleaning daily and in a much higher quality than I have experienced in many other higher category hotels. Breakfast is a buffet, very tasty, in the hotel garden with a nice view of the sea and Plakias.
