Hotel Sorrabona

The staff was amazing, very professional, friendly, and polite. The location is great and is recommended for a short stay, We stayed for a week.

Our room was not clean enough, and there was a constant urine smell coming from the bathroom. The room needs a good upgrade, including the beds comforters and pillows. And for a beach front hotel with a nice pool area like this one, they need to include beach towels for their guests.

A/C was bad and it was hot so that's the only bad thing, hotel is old needs to be updated but it was clean and nice if you are going to spend most of your time outside it should be OK

The receptionist at check in could have not been nicer very informative and told us everything we needed to know.We were having trouble understanding the parking meter over the road from the hotel and she went out of her way and came with us to helpWould love to stay again on our way back but the date we need is full. The service.Air conditioning didn't work. No washing facilities and the service in the restaurant and barwas the worse I've experienced .Had to wait 50 minutes for a sandwich

The hotel is located as close to the beach as possible in Pineda. There is the train line in between the hotel and the beach, but the crossing is just in front of the hotel.The breakfast and the dinner had a lot of choices. The quality varied from edible to excellent. The best was the evening when they served Catalonian specialities. There were always lots of fruits available with all meals. The drinks were not included in the half board, but the prices were reasonable.All areas in the hotel were clean, everything functioned, there were enough sun beds, the garden offered both sun and shade. The pool was large. There are also lots of bars and restaurants in the area, the high street is 5 minutes walk away.

The beds were a disappointment and need urgently to be renewed. The curtain was broken. We informed about it on the first day, but it wasn't fixed during our stay. The scrambled egg was very oily and the Spanish omelette like rubber. But there were lots of other options what to eat for breakfast.

The hotel was right by the beach and the daily buffet breakfast offered a lot of choice.

The hotel is very dated and could do with a refurbishment. My bed was a bit hard and not very comfortable. You have to pay for wifi anywhere else in the hotel, which is ridiculous in 2023, but is free in the lobby. However it barely works - I even raised this with an employee and he laughed and said it was very bad. Some staff are friendly, a couple seem a bit jaded. There is an army of old people waiting in the morning to nab the best spots for breakfast - two even stole my table after I already sat down - be warned!

We are absolutely in love with this place. Traditional Mediterranean hotel, place with a history, but all the facilities are modernised up to date. The room with a sea view was amazing, nothing beats falling asleep to the sound of waves. The food choice was great, we spent 6 days without repeating meals and could have kept on as the buffet offers various food combinations. All in all atmosphere was very nice, the staff as well as the other guests were very friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much

We would highly recommend staying at this beautiful hotel, excellent location, amazing breakfast, lovely staff, beautiful rooms and comfortable beds. They are very welcomed and friendly. They showed the value of branded hotel chain. I can see the difference, Everything is fresh and top standard.. This is the best hotel to stay !

Breakfasts and dinners were perfect. Meat, fish, fruits, sweets everything very various and very tasty.Good swimming pool with bar.

Room is very small for 4 persons, it is around 15 meters for 4 persons.

Loved the general size of the room. Also the Seaview was fantastic. And loved having a fridge in the room!

VERY noisy in rooms, impossible to get early night due to noise from outside pool & bar area. Family hotel with lots of screaming kids especially around pool area all day long. Noise from corridors, rooms above & outside was frequently unbearable as insufficient soundproofing to rooms. Not the place to stay for a rest but probably good if you want to party or have a few kids.

It was a good value overall, location was perfect for us. Swimming pool is great. Staff was nice.

Free Wifi is unusable. You need to pay 4 euros PER DAY for the one in the rooms, that is better. Bathroom could use some update.Parking is 15 euros per day extra on premises.The food is average at best and overpriced.

the property was friendly clean and comfy. perfect location was opposite the beach a stones throw away from all the shops and bars. this is our 3rd time here at this hotel and it’s amazing friendly staff throughout the hotel couldn’t do enough especially at breakfast and dinner the waiter made sure he found us a table so we could all sit together whenever we ate. fantastic plenty of sun beds in the garden and pool

Great location - right on the beach and easy to access the train to Barcelona and other nearby towns. The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly.

The bed was very uncomfortable and the ‘mountain view’ was mostly the car park.
