Hotel Palia Tropico Playa

Had a massive problem with hire getting my mobility scooter allowed on premises.

The reception staff need a lot of training no one seemed to know who was doing what job. The cleaners,barstaff waiters were amazing and so friendly

Location great food very good especially lunch pool great lovely staff

Dinner choices not great wine especially red not good lounge not comfortable furniture like school canteen lacks soft textures sorry!

Breakfast, room and proximity to beach

There were still some small cosmetic issues with the room.

The food was excellent and it did not have olive oil which really suited my dietary requirements.

Being a senior couple we found it hard to climb so many steps so many times a day to get to pool and back down to dining. There should be some type of elevator for that as many of your customers are elderly.

Great many options of meal choice laid out on hotplates / cold displays. Many drink options available at all meals. Staff cleared tables when needed. Option of eating at some open air tables Staff at reception were a credit and bonus to smooth running and help to residents

Dining room a bit tight as everyone had to move around to get their own meals from the well stocked displays. 2 x coffee / tea / milk/ machines were not quite enough to keep the queues short. Where could you get a drink before or after a meal? (the ground floor bar was rarely used)The room and bathroom were somewhat small for a hotel of this standing. Superb views from the balcony over the swimming pool to the sea beyondDrinks at the swimming pool were presented less professionally than expected.

Flies in food and drink. Flies everywhere quality of drinks very bad wine especially.

Beach is in front of hotel but there is no option for the quests to have free deck chairs in the beach,cocktails or any other drinks are forbidden to be taken on the beach even tho u paid all inclusive package,locker in the room is extra charged if u want to use it,phones are not working in the room,if u pick room on the booking u will not get what u picked.

It was newly renovated.

I can’t believe that the pool was locked until 10am as then closed again at 6pm when it is still hot- this was such a shame along with some of the silly rules around the pool- eg sitting with plastic cups of water next to the pool is not allowed. The lifeguards were petty. They even told some guests not to play with balls when it was the hotel entertainment staff who put the balls in the pool for guests to play with.

That we paid over £1000 for 5 nights and had to pay for the safe in the room

The excellent location. There was great entertainment at night and food was great too. The staff were friendly and helpful too. ??

Hotel a little datedAnd one of the staff was a little simple,which does feel harsh to sayHe kept getting drunk orders wrong and would often serve people that had pushed in front at the bar

Pool area little small

Good location, close to the beach, around a lot of shops. Clean and nice place, nice buffet, i like it. I want to say BIG THANK YOU FOR DANI, he is very nice guy and we loved him so much <3

After being closed for 3 years you wld think improvements wld have been made, but nothing has,and the food although a good selection as cold everyday

Hotel Tropico is situated right across the beach, and the location is (of course) excellent! Had an amazing view watching the morning sun rise above the horizon. The breakfast was great, but unfortunately I can't say the same about lunch and dinner... There should have been more options,- especially regarding chicken and fish. However, this was my 2nd stay in this hotel, and once again it was a wonderful place to stay!

Great location and nice and clean. Staff work hard, drinks good and food OK, great homemade pizzas !!Hotel entertainment could be better, but heyho you can't please everyone. Plenty of other pubs etc around and even got to watch the footie, Lol.

Rooms are tired and dated, but very clean with lovely comfy beds

The room was well-cleaned every day.

The hotel needs renovation: the room was big but with ancient furniture. We couldn't close the window all the way, so the hot air was coming inside all the time. The dining room was too small for so many guests, and the air-conditioning was not powerful. The cleanliness of the dining room was terrible :( The choice of vegetarian food is very low.
