Hotel Recif

Pros +

• Nothing
• The location of the hotel was close to the city center and not far from the beach (around 10 minutes to walk). Friendly reception staff. Breakfast was ok , classic , same things daily but we didn't have a problem with that. We always find something to eat. The pools and the area around ok surrounded by green vegetation. Overall a good family vacation.

Cons -

• Expensive for an old Hotel and the shower is floading.
• We didn't like that the city tax ( 5 Ron / adult / night ) , not an big amount although, was not mentioned in the total amount of the booking . This needs to be fairly mentioned in the booking. We pay extra 120 Ron ( as we are a family of 4 ) for an extra bed but that was not an extra bed , it was more likely an extra extendable chair. The design of the shower makes the water overflow on the bathroom floor every time when you take shower and you can bring the water in the room, luckily the room floor is from marble. And, we didn't like that constantly we have to ask reception for things that housekeeping staff should pay attention to for a 3*** hotel ( day 1 we ask for an extra pillow as they know that we are 4 but they put only 3 pillows and from day 1 till the end , we constantly ask for shower gel sachets which were only for one time use so you couldn't use it 2 times ; day 4 the room was not clean at all so we need to ask for towels and shower gel sachets ) . Not a good impression about the housekeeping personnel at all .
