    Pros +

    • Very nice room and spa area. Located on the slopes and also close enough to Sankt Anton as well. Nice breakfast, afternoon snacks and overall food experience. Some saunas have glass doors not perfectly sealed, very pretty but cool down too quickly sometimes making the sauna as experience not as it should be. Nice menu at dinner but whilst some dishes are very well executed, some others, still quite good, could be improved (same for some afternoon tee snacks).Rooms get way too warm even with heaters off and the beds could be more comfortable, especially the queen bed with separated single mattresses create a big division feeling almost like twins beds.It would be nice to have kettle in the room.Very nice staff.Overall very positive experience
    • The property has a good location next to the slope- and the spa is quite large.
    • It’s next to the ski lift & ski rental shop in See. Wonderful staff and all in all very good value for money. If you’re planning some days to ski with your family, then try Mallaun. We’ve loved out 7 days there.

    Cons -

    • The hotel is not a 4 start hotel, and not with the money we paid for it, about +300€ a night examples:- rooms are old and initially we got a room with a very tiny bathroom- shower gell & shampoo was empty and never refilled- only one bottle of water was provided in the room, extra bottle was 6€- there was a spa and which was nice, but full of screaming kids most of the time - breakfast was regular- drinks and food, very overpriced- staff was not at 4 star level
    • Could have a better bathroom door situation for some people, however we were ok with it (glass door, no frame).
    • The price of the hotel was very expensive. Elevator is slow.

Did not have the breakfast. The bartender was nice and social. Front desk staff were polite and courteous.

The price of the hotel was very expensive. Elevator is slow.

The most marvelous thing about this property is SPA. One of the best SPA complexes I’ve ever seen. They have 5-6 different saunas with different temperatures and modes, my personal favorite was herbs sauna. Food was 4 out of 5. Breakfast is plentiful and variable. For dinner some dishes were a real success (mostly mains), but some I had to leave on the plate (mostly starters). I like the idea that they are trying to reduce waste and reuse food what hasn’t been eaten before, but I believe that could be done in a more creative way. But hey, their chocolate cake at 4 o’clock - I am ready to sell my kidney for the recipe!

Baby bed we were given was the worst thing ever. We travel quite a lot with our little one, so he is used to these kind of travel beds, but this one was just impossible to sleep in. So our little one has to sleep with me in a big bed (and we never co-sleep, so that was kinda an issue for the both of us) and my husband had to sleep on the sofa, which was way too short for him (and he is 172 cm), so we had to use a hocker to make this situation more comfortable. The owners have two own young kids, so I would assume they need to be knowledgeable about baby belongings. Was apparently not the case. The second thing was this crazy system on Silvretta Card. At the beginning it was said to us that the card was included into our room rate, but then I saw 35 euros on the bill on the top. After back and forth the owner was claiming that all hotels in the region are adding now this card on the top, which I at fist believed and paid. But a few weeks later we went to Galtür and didn’t have to pay for the card, I extra paid my attention to that. So 35 euros - small money, but big impression.

+ cosy and clean interiors+ very nice indoor pool, which we enjoyed after skiing+ nice and varied food. Impossible to have just a light dinner before going to bed :)+ friendly and polite employees, who do their best to give the appropriate attention to every guest even when the hotel is full+ perfect location, a few steps away from the slopes

    - no possibility to adjust the temperature in your room- rooms are not soundproof. You can hear everything in the stairs and hallway and in this holiday we discovered (to our disappointment) how many people enjoy having a chitchat in the hallway, regardless of the hour. Moreover, since our room was on the first floor we could also hear the party noises from the bar two nights during our stay and it was quite difficult to fall or to remain asleep before the party was over.

nice rooms, comfortable. Nice mountain setting behind, but entry directly on main road

Hospitality: quite below the mountain resort standards, especially if you compare it with south-Tyrol, that is the Italian side of the same mountains. Food options and quality quite average, and the price for it was high. Wellness area nice, but not as wide and full of options as equal 4 stars resorts typically have in south-Tyrol.Reception staff quite stiff and unsympathetic to my very subdued and very slight remark about dinner price of previous evening.
