Samawi Hotel

I like the location of the hotel and view from the room.

The facet was loose and banging against the mirror. The showers need indication to turn on hot water.

The location, the staff, foods.

My room had mole all over including the pillows which I found out after starting to coughing and removed the first cover. I did noticed in the bathroom, on the ceiling and behind the bed head after I started to look. I had to check out earlier and both my 74 years old day and mother-in-law, my wife and I got sicked with very bad coughing. This affected my vacation in Medillen after left San Andres. I dont recommend this place to anyone.

Location cannot be better. All tours are just within 2-4 mins away as well as all the shops in the city center. Additionally, the room, pool and restaurant are very pleasant.Finally but not least, the breakfast and menu offers were just amazing.

Bathrooms feel a bit outdated on some features (lots of water marks in the shower and the sink. The hotel could benefit from refreshing some features to make it look just perfect.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Staff is incredibly unwelcoming to the point of making you feel like you're dealing with authorities. The rooms are wet and have been flooded at some point, it's musty and hot. I generally give a five star a 5 and a four a 4 but this place is a dump and it's a 1! They will make your life more difficult if you ask questions too. AVOID THIS HOTEL- NOV/2025

The locatiion was really good and the staff was really friendly, specially marlin and Steven.

Maybe the buffet could be more varied, thats my only observation.

Good location, amazing pool, delicious breakfast and meals at Cardamomo and Barbaro Restaurants (Barbaro offered 10% discount to hotel guests), Staff was gentle and kind, comfortable bed, good lining and amenities. Mini refrigerator, safe locker and enough space to store clothes. Leisure towels available. Staff at reception speaks english very well.

Leak trough the window that made a puddle inside the room when rained. Replaced towel on our bathroom had strange stains on it.

Everything was fine except that the cleaning staff left our room open multiple times. I would say everything else about the hotel was good but not spectacular. For the price we paid I would have expected a little more.

Our door was left open after cleaning several times and I feel that it was a little overpriced for what the hotel is.

It was close to beach

For the price I believe they could really do better, from the outside it looks great but once you are inside you can tell that it has been quite some time since they did renovations.

The room maintenance must be improved. Closet was not working properly (door with problems) and refrigerator had missing parts inside.

Is a big hotel with ammenities.

Hotel has a great location.

Bathrooms are not up to the price paid.Low pressure water, toilet barely flushes and towels seem to be used over and over again.

Lovely staff with great recommendations and great breakfast.

Laundry service a bit pricey and ac kept turning off and on again.

Arrived late at night. Woke up to a beautiful hotel with a great breakfast in a heavenly location. Staff was excellent. Price in comparison was far better value than other higher end resorts

Overall the hotel was in great location, pool was great as well as breakfast. Unfortunately, that was most I could say especially for the price of the hotel classifying as "4 star". I was there with my girlfriend celebrating her birthday and the holidays.

What i wasn't thrilled about-1) The size of room as great as we booked a suite and view from balcony to the sea was amazing2) I spoke with the front on the first day due to the shower not having a) hot water b) shower force was very low. The lobby folks said would have service look at it. They didn't. I brought it up again on 2nd and 3rd days- Nothing3) the sink faucet was loose and lacked hot water4) the "closet" door was broken and wouldn't slide 5) Doors were scuffed and chipped 6) on one of days, I brought down clothes to lobby around 8am to have them washed. They shared it would be done by 630pm. When I arrived requesting clothes, one of lobby ladies was helpful but my frustration was lack of communication by front desk saying they didn't wash it bc dress was delicate. I understand but they didn't communicate this to be during the day and my girlfriend planned to wear the dress for her birthday. 7) Can get an iron but no ironing board. At the end for the price of the hotel, the service and amenities didn't match up. Hotel needs renovation. Ive soent many dayz at hotels and this doesnt bill up to 4 star for price, quality, service and conve. The cleaning service ladies were great.

The staff was excellent, the view from the room is really beautiful and the breakfasts are 10/10.

I didn't like having to leave.
