Pros +
- Mildew, mold, and rude staff for an expensive price.
- The price was right and the comfort was amazing
- The best part of all was the service, especially from Beatriz. From the moment we arrived, she was extremely kind, helpful, and attentive to all our questions and needs—always with a smile and incredibly sweet! The room was very spacious and spotless—almost immaculate.
Cons -
- Everything smelled like mildew, the staff was rude, and literally anyone could come in the building – it felt unsafe.
- it's on the second floor and I have a toddler. Using a staircase was a little too much for me.
- This is not about the hotel, it’s about the Island in general. It’s very sad to see how the island is being overwhelmed by garbage. Unfortunately, much of this trash ends up in the sea. We hadn’t been back since our honeymoon, and we were shocked by the amount of plastic, cans, and general waste—everywhere. There seems to be no proper recycling system in place. It feels as if the island has been left behind in time. Since 2017, there’s been a waste incineration machine, but as of 2025, it’s still not operational. We paid 150,000 pesos for a tourism card, yet after speaking with some locals, they told us that the money stays in Bogotá. On the beaches and in the streets, there are barely any recycling bins. The few garbage cans you do find are often overflowing, and trash ends up blowing away in the wind.In just one afternoon walking along the beach, we filled an entire bag with garbage—bottle caps, wrappers, and the pull-tabs from cans

Cleanliness, excellent host attention
Lack of shelves or organization spaces like bigger closets
Good
The staff is dissatisfied, but not all of them. Breakfast was late, the floor in the room was cold. I slept in the room closest to the reception - noise, music from the phone, laughter, talking around 10:00 PM
The rooms are clean, the staff is very kind, there is hot water in the shower, good air conditioning, full size refrigerator, WiFi works well most times, not noisy. Breakfast is delivered in the room every day.
Rooms could have more ventilation.
- Breakfast- Walking distance from the beach- Warm water in the bathroom
- Extremely noisy at night and early in the morning- Rooms are rather simple- Bathroom needs renovation
The friendly and accommodating staff, close walk to everything
The air conditioner didn’t work one night
Location was perfect
Wi-Fi didn’t work and tv had problems with remote to control
Is central and near of the beach and main night events
Location
There was no windows of the room to the outside. The only one there opened to the corridor. The breakfast was so so and the clients are not really free to choose the time they want to have because it has to be booked before and sometimes the schedules are fulled. It serves on the room and they prepare one or two per 30 min I understood One towel each two days. shower very bad Basin on bathroom is very smallThe big stairs very íngreme on the entrance to reach the reception
I liked the location.
I didn’t like the windows in the room, as they face the hallway. I also didn’t like that I could see the hall lights while I was trying to sleep at night. I didn’t like the breakfast options, as they were limited.
Location is great, different breakfast options, and staff attentive to our needs
The remote to turn on the tv did not work, just minor thing.
Location.
Everything else pretty much. Breakfast is a joke. Rooms have no window to the outside. That's a real problem when you return with wet and damp clothes from the many water activities on the island because you can't air out the room.
Very close to the beach, the city center, shops and restaurants. Attentive and helpful staff. TV, minibar, safe, air conditioning and bath and beach towels. The room I stayed in did not have a window to the street, so it was dark, only lit by artificial light.
I chose this hotel because of the differential of having hot water in the shower, but from the first day I complained that the hot water was not working and it was not solved until the check-out.
Really good location a few steps from the beach, nice staff, every day cleaned room.
Noisy in the night and in the early morning (like 6am) from the reception, you have to choose breakfast day before and eat in the room, found one cockrouch, no warm water in the shower, strict rule not to invite anybody into your room.
Excellent service from manager and staff. Good location near to the beach and shopping.
Sometimes problem with wi-fi on the island
location
staff did not make us aware that we had to order breakfast everyday. Also stepped into the room while we were showering. Other than that friendly & helpful
Very nice and kind personnel. Clean facilities and just 2 blocks from the beach!
the staff was really nice and very helpful. especially Nefa and the guy who was working the night shifts
no windows to look outside which made it very dark. but it is a great place if you want to stay close to the beach, night life, and just to sleep.
