Cons -
- hot water not fixed, and was very noisy(a heads up would have been nice), no room safe ( one in room small and not attched to anything... over all security ok, room key is like a house key on a key chain with hotel and room number on it.
- ConstructionHad to change rooms for unknown reason.Hot water in shower was horrible. It either scolded you or cold.
- The property is dilapidated, no money is being put in to maintain it. It is in terrible shape. Breakfast was scrambled eggs and pasteurized American cheese. Way overpriced for what you get.

It is beachfront

We had a view of the ocean through dirty windows. The staff were very friendly.
The room and hotel are in a state of decay. For the price I paid, the owner should be investing in the property and updating it. The room smelled, was falling apart, and very dated. The breakfast had scrambled eggs and pasteurized American cheese.
Location is very good and convenient, even if you are a good walker, you can walk to the hotel from the airport and vice versa. You'll find plenty of restaurants and options around, the beach is just steps away from the hotel, they provide you towels, so you are covered! The crew is very kind, they try to do their best.Breakfast is good as well, we spent 3 nights and they vary the menu, which was good to us.
Not too much to complain about, air conditioning was noisy, but worked anyway. We got a room with ocean/sstreet view, but unfortunately the glass was full of sand or salt I guess... so we couldn't enjoy the view.
Good location across from the beach and good access to all shopping and restaurants. Our room was decent but just ok for the price.
I'm very sorry but the buffet breakfast every day was simply horrible! The staff controls every item you can receive such as substandard dried hard fruit, orange juice served in small glasses similar to a whisky shot glass which forces you to return 3 or 4 times to have enough to drink, dry substandard breads, and by the time the cook finally has your eggs ready (usually a 10 minute wait), the rest of your breakfast is cold and not enjoyable. My wife only orders fried eggs for her breakfasts but they refused to serve her what she wanted on our third day. The old lady tried to force my wife to eat her eggs the way the hotel wanted. Very disrespectful! Because the breakfasts were so poor, we never ate at their restaurant...thank God!In the hotel photos, the rooftop pool looked very appealing and attractive, but in reality it looked just like a concrete jungle. Hard looking concrete floors and walls with no landscape materials at all... as compared to the beautiful Casablanca Hotel right next door. Also, the hotel lobby has cheap looking plastic mold- like chairs and extremely low tables that can never be used by hotel guests. And the front desk staff in general, was accommodating to our simple questions, but we never experienced any special individual help or support from any members of the front desk personnel. But the maids were always kind and very sweet as we passed them in the hallway. This was a hotel we would not recommend to other travelers to San Andrés as there are so many other better opportunities.
Location and proximity to the beach
The beach front needs some improvement Public bathrooms is a must We notice many people including vendors Urinating on the beach
Very well located!! Good breakfast. Comfortable room.
locationq
air condition poor, the temperature was too high. night staff no friendly.
The accomodations were great and the views are really beautiful. The rooftop is on a 9th floor, so you can see a lot of the sea and also s great part of the island.
I got stuck in the elevator with my mom which suffers from claustrophobia for more than five minutes just because the building ran out of electricity. The emergency system didn't work and I had to contact the staff via WhatsApp (fortunately I had signal in there) as we couldn't communicate other way. The hotel is great in general terms, but it's noticeable that the infrastructure is quite old.
Breakfast was ok. Only one lady at the reception was quite nice, everyone else was not that much interested in service, it might be a cultural thing. Towels were lent for the beach. Beds were good.
It is very noisy every single night, mostly because outside a lot of people walk the whole night with loudspeakers and stay quite long in front of the hotel with music, i.e. sleeping is a big issue. One night the person on the next room had music incredible loud, we complained at the reception and they just call the room, the person did not comply with lowering the music until long after that. The room walls were infested with a very small insect, we realized this at the very last day, we did not inform this to the hotel due to the service attitude they have. There was no warm water for showering, this was not informed before booking and should be a standard and basic service. There was no balcon or any place in the room where you can hang clothes to let it dry, this should also be a standard and basic service mostly next to a beach.
close to the beach..good area
Cleaner...
i didnt like anything, we didn’t get the room we paid for with the big bed instead they gave us a double room.
the staff were rude and we had a problem at checkout, they wanted to charge me for consuming a drink from the fridge which is false, at the end they said they won’t charge me but then i saw a charge on my account, they basically robbed me
friendliness of staff
our room was to the side of an unfinished building (half ruin) - not a beautiful view! pool times too short. starting at 11am is late. a dip before breakfast is so beautiful. the breakfast did not match of the price and was of lower quality
It was right in front of the sea and it was very close to pedestrian street, where the stores are. Breakfast was of local food, and varied every day,
They charged us more money because they didn´t see the reservation done through booking. I showed it in my phone but they said there was a problem, and tried to call the company they work with but it took almost an hour so we decided to pay that extra money and enjoy our last day there, because they wouldn´t let us go even though we offered to leave our baggage or passports while they kept on trying to get through. Moreover, the hotel was right in front of a piere which was in awful conditions.
Nice pool, at bar they have just beer. we had lunch at Hotel and the food was very good. welcome drink.
room, we paid regular price and got some budget room. Very small in comparison to other ( the one we booked). Breakfast - eggs, eggs and eggs. And the last is location: good and bad at the same time. It´s a season Of seaweed, smelling disgusting. The hotel could at least inform us About this situation.
its in front of the beach. breakfast was okay .. dont expect much. you can only check in at 3pm not before, however, you can store your luggage.
we couldn't open the window/balcony. the shower did not have a shower head.
The positive aspect was the location of the hotel and the service provided in the pool area. Staff there was attentive and nice.
The whole hotel is in need of renovation. The restaurant/breakfast area and the reception are the only nice-looking areas, everything else is old and needs big improvements. Most of the staff is not there to serve you with sympathy and attention to the clients' needs. All the times we asked for something their first answer was a big round "no". I'll give an example: my husband went to the restaurant and asked for a glass because we wanted to drink some wine and immediately they said no because it was a hotel policy and they couldn't provide glasses. When asked why they said it was because then clients put leftover food in the glasses and that would attract cockroaches. First time ever being denied a glass in a hotel...and we are frequent travelers.Breakfast selection was also very limited. Most of the days there was only one fruit option and most warm foods were only "colombian" style, not catering to foreigners taste. Also the ladies attending were very rude and not welcoming at all. I never felt comfortable and welcomed in this hotel. We asked for a family room and they got us one but the toilet had no ventilation so the room always felt humid and our clothes wouldn't dry for days. The 2 beds and the fridge were standing in plant pots turned upside down...we never understood why but probably to prevent some recurrent floodings. It was so bad that we asked to be moved to a different room which they did on the 3rd day. The second room was more or less the same, the toilet still had no ventilation but at least there were no plant pots supporting the beds and the fridge. Also, the walls on the first room we pretty damaged and in high demand for a renovation . The day we arrived the receptionist told us we were entitled to a welcome drink but we had to wait for 6pm because that's when the alcoholic beverages would start to be served. Around 8.
The room has a nice view to the ocean and good size for 4 people. The shower has warm water that is something that I read online that not all hotels have.
The wifi was not the best. Staff could be more friendly and more on time with the schedule of the hotel, one day I was waiting for the pool to open on 10am but the personel responsible for the pool was late for one and a half hour.
The location of the hotel is in front of the beach. The room is clean. The breakfast is good, you have a buffet with good options. The room is quiet even though is in front of the beach. The room has good isolation from external sound.
The facilities are quite old. The air conditioning system is very dirty (you can see the dust through the slits), and some places of the hotel seem to be under construction.
