Pros +
- I had a room on the 4th floor at the rear of the building with bushland view, room spacious and well appointed with windows that opened. Bathroom large so all good and the photos on the website are accurate with quality furnishings in good taste.
- It has a pool, sauna. The late checkout. The hotel has character.Very comfortable bed.
- It was quiet and the room was comfortable. Loved the pool and sauna.Staff very friendly.
Cons -
- The bed itself was fine for a one night stay however I wouldn't have enjoyed a prolonged stay as the middle was visible lower than the head and foot of the bed and it was a little uncomfortable to sleep in that position.
- I arrived late, all other hotels I've stayed in and there are a lot all have at least one bottle of water, nothing here as and as I'm cautious about drinking tap water anywhere, I had to boil the water in the jug and wait for it to cool. Management might think about leaving bottled water in the room fridge even at a cost, and please check that the shower soap dispensers are full. It's the little details that make hotels stand out.
- Just the sound of a dripping tap from the bathroom.

Free to air tv not working and couldn’t control air con.
Location
Seemed there was info missing in the room, like internet password and how to use the phone, how to call reception and restaurant etc. Think an info card was missing.
Charismatic and historic buildings, generous sized rooms and beautiful gardens.
Happy hour was average quality cocktails and price didn’t really reflect a happy hour.
Location, vibrant atmosphere, friendly staff, comfortable bed,
Check-in was easy and seamless, with very friendly staff. The bartender deserves a special mention — such a chatty, hospitable young man who really added to the warm atmosphere of the place. The hotel looks exactly like the photos, but even better in person. The decor is absolutely stunning — a cozy old world/ cigar lounge vibe that makes you feel instantly comfortable. The corridors are lined with beautiful Picasso-style artwork, which I loved, and the entire hotel is incredibly clean and spacious. One of the highlights was the amazing indoor pool and spa. The pool size is fantastic, and the whole area feels relaxing and well maintained. Our room was lovely, and when you walked in, there was a door leading out to a huge balcony. From there, you could walk down steps straight into the immaculate garden. The gardens are beautifully kept and add such a peaceful touch to the stay.We also dined at The Virgin Restaurant, and the food was exceptional. The steaks were perfectly cooked, incredibly succulent, and honestly some of the best we’ve had. The restaurant staff were just as friendly and welcoming as everyone else.I absolutely fell in love with the atmosphere, the interior design, and the overall feel of this place. It’s cozy, comfortable, unique, and memorable.
That we couldn’t stay longer
Quiet and nicely styled.
Very dark, very basic room facilities, tiniest rooms, staff nice but seemed new or quite unsure. No room service. A little bit like the shining in the hallways, they seem to just repeat.
Nicely appointed hotel room in a lovely natural setting. The room also had a smartTV that worked well with a very easy to use remote. Comfortable beds as well.
Room was quite small (loft room) as was the bathroom. Not a big issue though as it was all perfectly adequate for 2 adults.
Great location Good showers Excellent restaurant with helpful staff
This hotel is not appropriate for disabled guests. No elevatorSpa was quite basic and understaffed as was the hotel overall. Staff failed to inform guests of wiggles in service. Need for key to access spa. And haphazard room service charging in restaurant
The vista, happy hour on the deck, the lounge chairs in the lobby and bar areas, the large comfortable bed with a cosy throw, and breakfast in the garden.
Would have liked to have some water available in the room.
Loved the decor, the size of the room and the convenience of having a restaurant and bar onsite. The gardens were nice and there were lots of options of places to sit inside and outside of the hotel.
The bath had spa jets but they didn't work
Beautiful hotel, very friendly staff. Loved the gardens and pool.
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Bellinzona. The double king suite was spacious and comfortable for 4 people, the indoor pool, spa and sauna were amazing, and the food at The Virgin Kitchen was absolutely fantastic, truly top quality. The gardens, outdoor areas and fountains are so beautiful and peaceful, and the whole surrounding environment feels very special and relaxing.
One small suggestion that would make the experience even better: it would be great if the rooms included a microwave and a small sink dedicated to tea/coffee and drinking facilities. This would make it much easier for families and guests who like to enjoy snacks or warm drinks in the room.Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again.
The decor is gorgeous, the room was spacious enough and clean. We loved the Spa, sauna and pool. The garden setting was beautiful. The staff were attentive and friendly. The location was great - short walks around to nature pathways.
This place is in an interesting location, gardens and treetop views are a bonus.Dalesford is definitely worth visiting too.
It’s enormous and oddly furnished. No where to sit and relax around the pool or on our shared balcony. The indoor bar areas are stuffed full of wing backed leather chairs though !
We loved all of The Bellinzona Hotel. The room was luxurious, the decor quirky, historical and interesting, the surroundings were beautiful, we loved exploring the furnishings, the artwork, the garden and hotel itself. On arrival being that 2 of us were physically challenged the staff were more than accomodating with solutions and suggestions, in particular the reception and restaurant staff who offered help and rather than tell me where to go and how to get to where we needed to they actually came with me and showed me , from the best way to get in to where to park the car which was very much appreciated and always with a smile on their face , I wish I had asked their names.
Only suggestion would be a lift to 2nd floor but it’s not a complaint and it certainly won’t deter us from returning we have no other suggestions we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The space The staff and the swimming pool
Nothing really but could have had a more spacious bathroom !
Good location, accomodating staff.
Parking, because it was across the road and sometimes cars takes up too much space. Deliveries/collection of linen as it was outside our door. Timing of this was around 9am which is when we were trying to relax. Ramp was outside our room, so contractors would constantly move around and talk loud. Pillows were too soft.
