    Cons -

    • Our first room was opposite the pubs and was very noisy till 5am we asked reception and they moved us to the opposite side and was great no noise at all
    • Food wasn’t varied (different theme nights but did the same food)Entertainment wasn’t great but that’s pretty standard - could also hear it from the roomCockroaches in the restaurant

The location with proximity to restaurants and Siam Park was the only good thing.

It was old, dirty, and roach infested. The breakfast buffet looked pretty decent but the food quality was bad, and we had to share the dining room with roaches. Walking into our room the first night, we were greeted by a large roach on one of the beds. I asked the front desk to change rooms and he dismissed my concerns by saying that it's just normal to have roaches in Tenerife and he couldn't help me - the only roaches I saw my entire time in tenerife were in the hotel.

The rooms were nice and spacious and loved the hot tub and swimming pool

There was drilling from 9am that was so loud and we had no warning of it. The good thing is they let us move rooms but I don't think it's fair having no warning whatsoever. Especially if you have had a few drinks the night before. Also we had a member of staff knock on the door and after a few seconds they let themselves in and my other half was in the shower and didn't hear them. As you can imagine she was shocked and they were not cleaners either so that bothered us a bit

Pool bar staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful

Difficult to get the attention of the waiting staff in the restaurant. Written drinks menus would have been helpful

Beautiful and clean hotel, good location, nice food, very nice cocktails.

Central location, staff were very helpful. Had a great stay here and as a family of 4 we enjoyed our weeks stay.

Took too long to get served drinks in the dining area. Staff work hard but slow on service, but other than that it was all good

At first it all looked very lovely.

I came in late at night and while I was having a shower I realized some weird stuff behind the bathroom doors. I could only end up indentifying as poo. Next day I asked if this could be cleaned. Later this day it was still not cleaned. As personal was on strike they could not assist in the matter. After being a bit more pushy at reception I asked if I could clean it myself and asked for cleaning materials. I was offert Glassex. I did not agree to clean human waste with glassex I wanted real cleaning detergent.Besides the poo incident like I said I also was unhappily supriced with strikers, that were very close to my window 2 out of the 3 nights that I booked. The strikers asked attention for their issue's as they want fair wage. I can only have empathie for that as I paid (for me) a big amount of money to stay in this hotel so I'm not very happy to find out people are not paid honest wages. No wonder they strike. The strikers also advised to claim compensation with the hotel and travel agency. Both Hotel Gala and Booking.com do not want to help me in any kind of compensation. You can understand I'am very unhappy about that. Manger was never there to talk to me about that and the rest of the personell understandably where not happy to be at work. My room has not been cleaned in any of the 3 days, nor clean towels (due to strike) but as I informed you about the poo incident it was also not done very properly before I arrived neighter. Not even a free drink was offered from the hotel for the shocking room or the fact I was woken up twice by the strikers. I probably would have had a better stay in a cheap hostel where one expects to have a bad night rest. As even without the striking personel my room was located at the back of the hotel where the loading bay is. So untill late at night bottels are trown in to bins and early in the morning trucks arrive to bring what ever is needed.

Lovely hotel rooms. Fantastic entertainment each night. Anamacion team were brilliant with lots going on for both kids and adults. Food was good- lovely salads, bakery and desserts

Hot food was not hot at all. This was a consistent problem every meal.

Good size room, not far from Siam park, close to beach and shops

Staff does not provide a full information and you need to ask for everything. When we arrived our room was not cleaned, only towels and bedding changed. You could see hair, dust and dirt everywhere. Bathroom is covered in mould and looks like everything is falling apart. There were some bugs in the room as well. You need to pay €15 deposit per each beach towel, but the status of some of them is horrible. We book all inclusive stay, but when we arrived, we were surprised to see that ALL INCLUSIVE IS HALF INCLUSIVE- as for some of drinks and food in the pool bar and kitchen you need to pay. Food choice is very limited and pretty much is the same everyday. Kitchen and dining area is dirty and needs good scrubbing especially around hobs and extraction fans. Hotel is understaffed and staff is stressed out as they hardly can keep up with the workload. many times we had to take dirty plates away from a table and to set table for us to eat by ourselves and then to find available staff members to order drinks. IF YOU ARE A COFFEE LOVER- THIS PLACE IS NOT FOR YOU! They only offer coffee in the morning (other time you need to get it from the bar outside the dining area) and coffee is the same as from cheap coffee machines on the street (no coffee beans or milk is used). PLEASE CHECK DRINK GLASSES!!! Most of them are chipped and you or your child might cut your lips. Most of day's programme announcements are in Spanish and some of the staff barely speaks in English.TOO NOISY DURING THE NIGHT! Hotel is located near a busy street with lots of bars and night clubs. MUSIC STOPS AROUND 3AM. YOU CAN HAVE A PARTY IN YOUR ROOM WITHOUT PUTTING MUSIC ON. Hotel does not have good sound insulation and you could be woken up by neighbours which came back late from town.

Location and the staff(not the guy who answers phone)

Hot water not coming put on peak times.Only putting new towels and no cleaning even after requesting so.Mold in the room nespresso machine.Loud noise from the night clubs outside.Sund beds that were gone after 9 am by people just putting their towel and never turning up.Payed for all-inclusive and here is the review for all-inclusive which I will never recommend. All inclusive :Repetitive Food that is not even getting filled oftenCheap hamburger patties and hot dogsAll the drinks are low quality, all the cocktails and soft drinks from machine - all liquors are unfamiliar brands that tasts like pure alcohol. Not much of a benefit for all inclusive.

Staff very friendly , pool was great and fairly central to everything

We had 2 bad days and can't use indoor pool because wasn't for kids . Also food was fairly average . I wouldn't go half board if went back

The hotel looked lovely, fresh smell, throughout the building. Reception staff lovely, was given a bottle of brut, as it was my husband’s birthday. Rooms cleaned every day

Too close to Veronica’s with warning of it

Too close to the bars without warning of the noise especially when travelling with children
