Spring Hotel Bitacora

Close to every thing, good swimming pool,

In the room there was no toiletter like tooth paste and toothbrush, we have to pay for the safety books 1 € per day which I never faced in any hotel , the bed sheets were very old and the asked to use the towels many times because they are not changing every day.

Nice weather. Good food

10 nights stay in tenerife. Lock on room was broken, finally got it fixed after 4th time complaining. AC didnt work for most of the time, got fixed with 2 days left of the stay..

Astro Turf mini football pitch, playground and water slides were excellent. Attentive and fun Mini Club staff. Some pool games offered e.g. water polo, darts, as well as ping pong tournament. The Adults only pool had lots of available beds for those that preferred a quieter experience. Food was good. Free drinks over the Easter weekend was an unexpected bonus. Lifeguards always on duty and no charge to change pool towels. Supermarket across the road stocked anything you need.

Pool bar drinks are over priced. Charged Euro 5.25 per person to swap dinner for lunch was unnecessary. Evening entertainment ok. Not informed of staff strike in advance.

I loved the food, that is breakfast and dinner. I liked what is available for kids, both in terms of the playground and the swimming pool. But also, the people organizing things for the kids and keeping them entertained are awsome. The location of the hotel is great and in general it is great to stay at Bitacora.

There was some renavation going on at my floor the first few days. While, I totally understand the need for that, it would have been nice to be informed beforehand. But this was really not a big issue for me. Later during my trips, the cleaning staff went on strik for two days. Totally understandable and they have every right to fight for their rights. However, again notification from the hotel about this would have been appreciated.

Great swimming pools and slides. Nice childrens outdoor playground. Indoor playroom. Game room. Great for families with young kids! My kids loved it!?

Food in the restaurant was fantastic. The pool was fantastic

The food at the pool bar was not great.

Location, outside area,adult pool, plenty of sun beds.

Too loud a music at the pool by the entertainment team.No kettle in room.

They charged €3 per day for safe in room never experienced this before in a hotel

Everything was perfect, the room was celan, so many choices for breakfast and dinner. Lovely staff, all recommendations. Hope we came back next year again.

The staff werent friendly in the restaurant at all They seemed over worked and frustrated with the customers and pool bar manager not nice at all. The food has changed alot over the years the quality has gone down.

Pool area and location was great. Customer services a let down

Rooms were adequate. Upon arrival there was a bad smell from the bathroom and brown water on the floor coming from toilet. I reported straight away and was told an engineer would look at it. If I wanted to move room it would cost me 15 euro extra a night! I would have expected some good will but no and no apologies or anything. Engineer come out he was a nice chap. He fixed but again it was leaking toilet water all over the toilet. By now I was settled in and then had to wait till 3pm the next day to change room 2 doors down.. just not acceptable so won't be back!

Everything was great - the room is very big and the view is awesome. In general the hotel is amazing - it has good infrastructure - pools, bars, UP, SPA, aquapark and so on. The location is great as well. When we arrived - the hotel was overbooked and they asked us to stay for the first night in the partner hotel Vulcano - and because of this we were upgraded for free to have All Inclusive - that was very good from their side and were happy about it. The food and drinks in a bars and restaurant are of a really high quality. The fresh water is available at any floor and in a lot of places - that is very convinient. In general - we had amazing vacation and I can strongly recommend this hotel.

The bed adn bed sheets in the room were really good, but the bed is combined from 2 smaller ones - that were very movable and it was hard to keep it as a single bed so that it doesn't go in different directions. The concept of absense of towel cards and necessity of paying the 20EUR deposit for towels was not a problem - but a bit strange and inconvinient.

The best location. Restaurants, shops everywhere around.Very modern and beautiful hotel. Dinner was great.

Food and facilities were good and staff were more than helpful

The hotel and facilities were great. The only issue we had was that a family who had friends staying at another resort were reserving pool beds for them and bringing them in to use the facilities. Staff at the Bitacora should be noticing this. I also think that parents with Children shouldn't be allowed alcohol around the kids pool when there's 2 adult only pools in the hotel.

It’s in a good location the pool area and lobby is quite nice, the foam party was quite fun and the kids loved it.

The food is poor, the service is not great the kitchen staff are either under staffed or lazy as there were lots of empty tables but they had plates and glasses that needed to be cleaned. The rooms were never cleaned properly and there was a spoon a wrapper and some nuts left by my bed for 4 days u until the cleaner took them away and cleaned the floor properly Be prepaired to wait a long time at the pool bar The entertainment is very poor and cheap you will get better shows in the bars around the corner it’s ok if you have small children

Good location very clean and food and drink good

The staff were quite miserable. I think they could learn to smile a little. Particularly the reception staff

The hotel was fine the dining area was very good plenty of choices the staff was excellent the pool area was great the fun bar had some excellent shows

The only thing for me the room we had was looking onto some sort of derelict building it would be great if the hotel purchased it and turned into something that could be used for hotel use

Hotel room was big and spacious but door to the balcony was broken wouldn’t shut

Well first and foremost we went half board and at breakfast u got juices etc but evening meals u had to scan ur wrist band to get drinks and get charged for them should be aloud to have a drink of juice or anything with ur meals , the worst thing ever is if u don’t get up from 6:30 to cue up like animals u can’t sit at the pool all day I made numerous complaints and was told there should be enough sun loungers it’s because everyone wanted to be at kids pool it’s bullshit ! There is no we’re near enough loungers to accommodate for the hotel rooms they have closed a pool off for adults only and yet probs about 3 people in that pool all day it’s a joke the pics make the hotel look amazing but it’s not it’s nothing but stress we were told to sit at adults pool but we had a 7 year old son that couldkt use that pool so how could we keep an eye out for him in the kids pool if that was the only seat ? There was old people pulling up plastic chairs and sitting there with kids it’s a joke and they don’t help u totally and utterly ruined our holiday it’s not as good as it looks why jam everyone round them two pools when they have adult only on the roof ! Honestly don’t book this hotel if u want a relaxing holiday we spoke to family’s they all the says the same it’s way over rated and over priced !!! Belive me most places u go u can get a bed any time of the day not this place ur expected to sit on edge of the pool with your bag and young children ! Then there is a spare room they let u shower in but don’t tell u that u have to be there 8am to get ya name on list for half hour slot so they actually told me and my family that we had to shower round the pool the day we went home it was embarrassing for my 7 year old and my girlfriend using shampoo in the pool showers then we got ready in disables toilet it’s a total and utter joke for the money u pay not worth it a lot of people give up getting beds and went to beach for there last days of there holiday !
