Pros +
- The rooms were clean and even after we checked out the hotel manager let us use the bathroom and treated us like guests.
- The price per night was very reasonable at --- USD. The hotel is located in the center of Villa de Leyva. It is quiet, clean and comfortable (most important factor) for price they charge it is very reasonable. They do not have food service/restaurant.
- The hotel had wonderful staff. My parents and I arrived in the evening after a long bus ride and we were ready to crash. The receptionist immediately attended to us. Check-in took all of 3 minutes and 3 minutes after that he made us tea with fresh herbs.
Cons -
- Loved this hotel
- The room is small. It gets really cold at night and they do not provide any kind of portable heater. It is not up to the standards of major US/European hotels, but it is far cheaper.
- Shower was very cold the 1st night. There was a sign explaining to let the hot water run for 2 min. We followed instructions & waited for 10 min with no luck. Next day we informed the front desk. Turns out the water heater battery was out. They fixed it.
