Pros +
- Beside property, service was great Dora and Domagoj were very plesent and helpful. Thank you for making our stay wonderfull.
- The main attraction of this club is clearly the great location - there are kilometer long beaches with a path going all the way to the next village - perfect for a morning run, many places to go swimming in the clean sea, and enough quiet areas for the deck chairs (including shaded areas due to the lush trees). Note that the club area is huge and sprawled along the beach, which is positive because it has enough room if you are seeking quiet, but plan for quite a bit of walking to get from one part to another. Quickly skipping to the hotel room from the beach is unlikely, given the winding paths.
- The location was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere that made it a perfect getaway. The beach was picturesque and offered a truly relaxing environment. It’s an ideal spot for those looking to unwind and enjoy some natural beauty.
Cons -
- The staff (pretty much everywhere except at the reception) has definitely not had training adequate for a 5 star rated hotel. They are generally not attentive to detail (many parts are not clean, some are in disrepair) and on requests, the first answer is pretty often "no, not possible" unless you insist that they double-check - in some cases, it turns out to be possible after all, and they just didn't want effort. One of the most problematic aspects of this behavior is in the main restaurant (breakfast and dinner): tables are often dirty even after being "serviced", flagging down a passing waiter (because they don't notice on their own when somebody is looking for service) is a real pain, or it can take 10-15 minutes to actually get the ordered breakfast coffee. And don't go there if you require gluten-free or any other dietary option. While clearly advertised in the listing, they don't actually have good options and don't make an effort to provide any. In 6 nights, on the first 2 occasions in the main restaurant there wasn't even simple gluten-free toast bread available, let alone any dessert. We had to demand talking to the restaurant manager for them to order some (pre-packaged, dry) gluten-free bread for the next days. Dessert is generally unavailable, and when asking specifically, the kitchen (even at the specialty restaurants) might provide panna cotta or a fruit salad.Vegetarian and vegan options are similarly pitiful and totally inappropriate for a hotel that calls itself 5 star.I would rate the dining options and staff behavior somewhere along the (national) lower 4 star range, definitely not in the 4+ or 5 star range. Compared to e.g. the Grand Hotel Brioni Pula (same national 5 star category), they are worlds apart!Oh, and the 10€/day "voluntary" flat tip fee is very werid and seems like an additional management tax on top of the hotel rate.
- The service at this location was quite disappointing. The staff seemed disinterested and gave off an unwelcoming vibe, which made interactions feel rushed and insincere. Additionally, all beach facilities closed by 6 PM, so enjoying a sunset with a drink wasn’t possible. The area also lacks nightlife activities, making the evenings rather uneventful. Improvements in service and extended hours for beach amenities would significantly enhance the experience.
- The AC was not properly cooling. The beds were very uncomfortable and the rooms in general more of a 4 Star than a 5 star hotel. The Spa treatments we had (massage and facial) were average.

We loved the property as it is huge with a beautiful garden and pool. It has tons of facilities like tennis, paddle, bowling, spa , kids entertainment…. The restaurant at the beach for dinner was very good to and the breakfast had lots of choices and was of good quality.

Amazing breaksfast, kind staff, spacious rooms, big spa.

Hotel is not anymore adults only It was many families with kids - this hotel is not for kids !!
Hotel on nice location and nice environment with various activities inside resort. Breakfast was very good with lot of choice.
This is not 5 star level. Needs refreshment .
What I am about to write is with having in mind we are talking about a 5 star hotel.I would firstly say that the staff was superb, probably the best I've ever encountered. 10/10The 1st impression of the place was great as well. Huge hotel, spacious, well built with a good dose of luxury.Breakfast was great. The dinner could be better. But then you start noticing the little things:- The matress on the bed in the room was horrible. It was caved like it hasnt been changed in years and the quality of is is horrendous. My back actualy hurt in the morning.- The coctail we ordered (Aperol Spritz) was watered down. The worst Aperol I ever drank to be honest and I've drank alot of Aperol Spritzes in my life.- The SPA looks impressive at first but to be fair it's filthy and unmaintaned. Inside and outside. Because you can go outside, the floors get dirty fast and they clean it here and then, but not often. There is an outside sauna and the showers outside are disgusting to say the least. Some of the steam sauna parts were sludgy. The deck chairs were damaged. All in all, the overall experience was great, but more of 4 start than 5 stars.
The hotel is in a beautiful location where you can truly relax. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was varied and delicious, the saunas were excellent, with plenty of space to rest and unwind. Altogether, it was a very pleasant experience – we will definitely come back.
Food is 5 star
Was not aware that drinks during the dinner is not in the price. Paid 6.5 eur for plain water.., no nice. No facilities for kids, everything closed out of the season. Overpriced hotel, no worth of it
Kind personnel, warm service, delicious meal and healthy SPA.
Parking cost is increased, although it is still the same parking area as two years ago. During an inclusive dinner water was offered for extra pay. I think this hotel could effort including complementary water and maybe even some wine or beer to dinner.
Beautiful location, nice rooms, very good halfboard.
At this time of the year wellness is crowded, so it would be nice to have more stuff to fill in the towels regularly and keep the place cleaner and tidier. The water in the indoor pool could be warmer.Housekeeping doesn’t empty the trash can daily. Floor manager is too loud giving orders to the staff (guests are not supposed to hear her yelling).Staff at the reception desk gave us the wrong information on arrival that bowling in Fortis doesn’t work-later we went there to find out it was open.
Under all expectation
Dinner under any expectation for a hotel of this standard. Food was not tasty, poor ingredients. Gaming room was closed (without any notice). No warm water at the beginning - explanation was that nobody used room for some time, not nice smell till we refreshed it. Not enough place on pools, not enough staff on spa and pools.Curtains switch is not working. Not very well maintained pools and other areas.Had to pay extra for parking.
The location is awesome such as the facilities and the huge spa area. Rooms are quite large and spacious.
Spa area, the smell in the showers, no one welcomes you when entered and there were no clean towels.
Amazing spa, but would be better if the indoor pool was heated. Great breakfast.
The TV should come with Netflix. Making people pay for parking when the road leading to the hotel is virtually empty is tasteless, and more so directly adding to the bill a 10 EUR tip per day at check out. We found this scandalous.
Breakfast was OK, though better espresso would be appreciated especially for wannabe 5* hotel. Room was roomy but toilet seat (unnaturally) to low
There was an unpleasant smell because the room was closed for too long without opening the window, which made it stuffy.but price for one night with breakfast of 290 EUR was too much
exceptional breakfast fresh interior very nice adults only spa view...
The food was excellent, and the room was amazing—spacious, with a great view and a very comfortable bed. Cocktails at the bar were fantastic, and the staff were incredibly nice and cheerful, making the experience feel warm and welcoming.
However, there were a few issues. Parking is charged at €9.50 per day, which feels unreasonable for a 5-star hotel. I’d rather pay a higher room rate than see separate charges for something that should be included. Additionally, the "voluntary tip" system was very off-putting. Framing it as optional while appealing to guests' emotions felt manipulative. This is a 5-star hotel, not a charity, and it left a bitter impression, making it feel like they’re trying to squeeze every last cent out of guests.
Breakfast was good, loaction is excellent, landscape is very nice, bowling was very nice surprise, horses also.
Some things were really not on the level, and one of them was cleanlines of the spa area, and overall, poor management of the atmospehere in the spa. No staff in spa to make sure things are in order. People phones were ringing, talking loudly, this should be managed better. No heating in the outdoor pool. Very poor bedding quality. Waiters in the hotel restaurant forgot my order and only brought it after I reminded them... I would expect higher service level at such hotel.
