Villa Insam

Staff were extremely accommodating with last minute travel changes, view was amazing!

The only thing we wish we knew ahead of time was that the direct transport closest to the villa insam was not as frequent and a car would have been ideal as it was a bit of a hike from the more regular bus stop.

Clean room and new towels each day.

Rooms are tiny. Bathroom is insanely small. The toilet was 12 inches from shower and sink. Really cramped. We had to change in the bedroom. It wasn’t possible to move in the bathroom. Too far to walk to town

Super kind staff, cute tiny room with a wonderfull smell of (cedar?) wood, good location, pretty good breakfast.

The room is a bit too small for 4 people, but it's perfect for an overnight stay. The beds are comfortable, but the covers are filled with down feathers and it was too hot to use them on an August night.

The location was good and we had a great view from our balcony. The staff made you feel at home in this home-style B&B. The host provided good suggestions for hikes as well as walking shortcuts to get to the lifts without taking a car. The breakfast was very fresh including some home-cooked cakes.

The owners were very friendly and welcoming. It was nice return to a traditional lodging experience. The Federbett/duvet on the bed was the most comfortable of my trip: nice and fluffy! It was perfect with the crisp night air.

The shower in the single room was tiny.

The most hospitable couple runs this place with such care and kindness. The location is beautiful. The room was clean and well kept. The charm was off the charts. They served us breakfast in the lobby, it felt like we were at a restaurant. I would highly recommend.

The shower pressure was a little low, but it didn’t matter because we loved our stay!

The location and staff were excellent. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of hot water / pressure. The breakfast was just meats, cheeses, a variety of breads, yogurts, and cereal. The coffee / cappuccinos were very good. The mountain water from the tap is very cold and good to drink.

The WiFi was not strong enough to reach the rooms. It only works in the first hallway and the dinning room. The showers are very thin, but I am also over 6 feet and 200 lbs. There is some construction/cranes behind the villa, looks like it will be there for the next few months. You can still see the mountains though.

Quiet location, nice views. The old couple who owns the place are nice, tje place is clean. No problem with the parking.

WiFi not working at all, the rooms were extremely small (we had a single room in the attic and a quadruple room which consisted of a bunk bed and a queen bed- barely any space at all). The towels should be replaced, they are very, very old and thin.

Our room had a wonderful view, and comfortable bed and pillows. The lady who owns the hotel was lovely and works hard!

When we arrived, there was construction behind the hotel and they were also mowing the huge expanse of lawn! It was noisy, so we left and went into town. When we returned, it was quiet, and we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony.There is no elevator, in case you have heavy luggage.

The setting was wonderful and the staff made us feeling at home. The breakfast and the home made cakes were absolutely delicious!

Small bathroom.

The friendly host greeted us upon our arrival and allowed us to check in early. There was a walking path to get to town which we would have used had it not been rainy and cold. Being located at the edge of the town, the setting was very quiet. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our meal at a restaurant in town that was recommended by our host. Good breakfast the next morning in the pleasant breakfast room.

Gorgeous views from the balcony and good location. Very well cared for and clean. Hosts were very nice. No hot water pot in the room to make coffee or tea but host brought us a lovely tray.

It is a small room and rather short bed for anyone over 6 feet.

Great location, friendly staff and a good breakfast. The room was comfortable; not very spacious but enough for our needs.

The pillow was too hard.

Villa Insam was perfect! First, the location is out of this world! Next, the rooms were quaint and delightful, especially the balconies overlooking the gorgeous valley. Third, the daily breakfasts were scrumptious with home made delicacies every morning.But the BEST part of Villa Insam is the hostess/ owner, Louisa. Louisa was delightful and very eager to help each guest figure out their best itinerary/ hike. We did a different hike everyday!I will definitely go back to this little gem of a place !

Nothing to change

The views were amazing!!!!! We had a room with a balcony and it was beautiful. Breakfast is also very good, and the lady running the place is great :)

We couldn't find WiFi to connect to, but also didn't ask. The beds werent the most comfortable.

Beautiful location. Comfortable beds. Peaceful. Owners were pleasant and helpful.

No wifi in upstairs room. wifi worked great downstairs on patio.

Everything was comfortable, breakfast was substantial, the view was fantastic, and the host was super gracious!!
