Hotel Tyrol

We absolutely loved Hotel Tyrol - I truly don't have enough good things to say. The property is beautiful and perfectly located if you're in town for summer hiking. The food was some of the best, most memorable that we had in our 2-week trip to Italy. And, the staff couldn't have been nicer - they went above and beyond to make our trip special and our stay comfortable (including fitting us in at their Michelin Star restaurant on very late notice). The Sommelier, Matteo, went as far as to help us with restaurant recommendations for other cities we visited on our trip. Truly, above and beyond.

Good

Position means you have to get two buttons and a magic carpet in the morning, which is a bit of a pain. Restaurant gets booked up quickly and they don't prioritise people staying in the hotel.

Just disappointed we could have stayed longer... such a special hotel and location.

The breakfast was delicious with numerous options. Dinner was equally as delicious. The wine list was incredible. The hotel staff went above and beyond to meet our needs. Great location in Selva for our hiking holiday.

Spa services, food selection, location, room, view, bar was comfortable and pleasant with wonderful snacks with drinks. People were superb

Breakfast was amazing. We were late arriving and had a later breakfast . They held a spot for us and were expecting us to be on the later side. The host even sent a healthy snack along just in case I experienced low blood sugar.

Absolutely nothing. From dinner the night we arrived through breakfast before hitting the road. Wish we had more time to stay longer.

Beautiful hotel in a quiet part of town with fabulous food, tons of friendly staff, stylish interiors, incredible views and food.

Try to avoid a room above/near the Restaurant

The staff, the facilities, the cleaning, the food, the location. Basically everything

Amazing place, super clean, staff was very nice and attentive. We were greeted with welcome drinks and snacks upon arrival. Get the pear juice, it's amazing. The beds were the most comfortable beds I've slept on during vacation, probably even more comfortable than my bed at home. Also located in the middle of the Dolomites with beautiful views. Ate at the michelin star restaurant Suinsom (connected to the hotel) and it was the best fancy meal I've ever had.

The massage booking process was pretty unclear and we kept getting told different times for when the spa would open. Unfortunately this resulted in us not being able to book a massage before we had to leave.

Breakfast was over the top!!!! Such a wide variety of food, wait staff was very efficient and happy to serve you!

There wasn’t one thing I didn’t like.

My partner and I both agree that Hotel Tyrol is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. Breakfast was amazing every day. The ski locker room was very convenient and only a few steps to the first lift. The spa had a variety of different saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs, and pools and was never too crowded. The hotel was a great starting point to access the Sella Rhonda loop and one of the largest ski areas we have ever seen. Staff were all very friendly and greeted us by name each day. The restaurant's food and service was exceptional! If you are considering staying at this hotel don't hesitate - book a room now and you won't be disappointed. We were so happy with our experience here - it was the highlight of our entire trip to Italy.

The welcome and the quality of the staff are exceptional, the restaurant and the breakfast are excellent (with an impressive wine list), the decoration and the lounges are very cosy, the wellness center is great and the location super. In short, we will come back!

Staff was very nice. Food was good.

We inadvertently selected our kids age of 0 and 0 which made the rate significantly higher when we showed up with our 10 year old kids. Our fault. The hotel was understanding and tried to make it right.

I liked that they have membership with val gardena active program which has some guided activities in the area that you can sign up for for free. and they give you transportation card to use public transportation in the area. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the check in and out was smooth with a welcome drink upon arrival.

However there aren't any activities that are operated by the hotel itself. As for the facilities the pool area is very small and the dining room for breakfast has assigned seating according to your room number and you can't change your table which is a first for me as I have stayed in 4 & 5 star hotels and this is the first one which operates like this.As for the breakfast itself I have made a dietary request upon booking since breakfast is included with the stay which which they confirmed that they can accommodate. but unfortunately when I arrived there were not any options other than bread and jam so I wouldn't recommend it for people with dietary restrictions unless you don't plan to eat at the hotel. The service staff tried to be helpful and managed to get me dairy free margarine and fruit salad one day which was nice of them but considering that I'm paying the same as other guests and that I have informed the hotel of the dietary requirement prior to my stay it was a disappointment that the breakfast options were so limited and the same everyday. Overall it was not great value for money in my case.

We went to Hotel Tyrol for part of our honeymoon in Italy. Wow!! The beautiful views of the mountains, the hospitality, the spa and amenities, this is a hotel of luxury and relaxation. We will be back soon!

we got a very warm welcome when we got there. lovely hotel with a perfect location. nice and friendly staff and a clean and comfy hotel. we were surprised by the very nice spa that had everything. the outdoor pool was also very nice. we visited in the summer to hike but would love to come back for skiing.

the breakfast was nice and had everything you wanted. Though we did not like the evening restaurant, through our stay in val Gardena every other restaurants we tried was better than the hotel Tyrols. besides that the hotel has everything you can ask for.

Wonderful atmosphere. Super kind staff. Great breakfast and excellent restaurant. Great pools and saunas too.

No need for heating

The food was amazing, the staff were so helpful and friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. The bar area was unique and with great atmosphere. The welcome drinks made our arrival extra special. The bar man was very knowledgeable and friendly. The indoor and outdoor pool were beautiful and the hot tubs and saunas were unique and added to the holiday.
