    Pros +

    • The location, cleanliness and friendliness of staff! 5 stars!
    • The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Bed was comfortable. The hotel was walking distance to the main lift. Breakfast was fantastic.
    • Nicely renovated, amazing staff at breakfast and dinner, very good food.

    Cons -

    • The room was very small :(.
    • Pricey, somewhat limited opening time for pool
    • Very difficult to sum up how awful the experience of staying at this hotel really was. The staff were so rude, constantly enforcing ridiculous hotel ‘rules’ but without any charm whatsoever, in fact they were aggressive towards me, my husband and teenage children. The facilities are no where near what you’d expect of a 4* hotel. I paid nearly £1000 a night for 2 double rooms that were tiny with a balcony that could fit one person and was so old no one dare even try it! We were kept awake all night by a dog barking in another room. There is no soundproofing. We were woken every time someone called the lift next to our room. The pillows were stained with brown and red marks and despite me asking for them to be changed, this did not happen for two days. I asked to meet the manager to speak about all these complaints before writing this review and he ignored me for 3 days and when I checked out he hid in an office pretending not to be there. Pathetic. DO NOT come to this hotel!

Very little I’m afraid. Not good value for money and awful rude staff. See below.

    The outdoor swimming pool.Campari spritz.

Evening meal was quite large and rich but very good.Bathroom sink cabinet was very small and became very wet quickly, so did the tissues.

Nice hotel at the great location. Spa was very clean and most of the staff was nice and friendly.

We traveled as group of 3 friends on skiing trip. Room didn’t look like rooms on their photos. Shower was in the middle of the room without any privacy. We asked hotel to change the room but they seemed like they didn’t care at all about our complaints. Asked for some hot water at the bar for some medications I was taking they wanted to charge me for that. Buffet was available but nobody let us know about it and they refused to let us use some of it one day because we were late ONE MINUTE.

Great poolarea. We were upgraded to the suite which was great. The dinner was fantastic, I rekommend halfboard

Check out time too early 10 am.The hotel don’t permit to take a shower (around 11.30) after a short hike on check out day. Stupid rule since there are showers at the pool

    Very limited pool hours.

Good facilities outside room, sunbeds (double & single), hot-tubs x3, table tennis, etc.

The floor squeak. Meals a little expensive.

nice hotel, close to the ski lifts.historical moment that they marketing is cute

not one room has a cooling air conditioner, in the summer the temperature in the room and at night is 25 degrees, there is nothing to breathe

Amazing food, (mostly) friendly and helpful staff, great pool, spa and facilities.

The employee on reception when we left refused to let us use the pool for a short time after checkout due to 'a lack of changing facilities'. This was very out of step with the other staff who were extremely helpful and a bit unnecessary.

    Pleasant

Food was not good and large portions, felt unnecessary. Not like the photos, the decor is strange. Pool and outdoor areas need a revamp.

False advertising on the part of the hotel. .

We booked a room with a double bed and a couch.. When we arrived the room only had a double bed and barely any room to walk around. When we brought this to the attention of the reception desk manager we were told we had to pay 50 euros more per night if we wanted a room with a couch.

Location to the lifts. Friendly staff and health spa.

Half board dinner had some duds with the food

Staff, facilities and the view is fantastic. Spa was luxurious. Food was great both at breakfast and dinner. We were very happy with our stay at Hotel Wolkenstein. Ski slopes were accessible both by shuttle to two different ski lifts and by walking to saslong 400m. As for hiking - right by the hotel goes by the bahnweg trail. Also hotel surprised us with included cake hour, finger food hour at the bar for the guests and there was live music one night.

in bathrooms there could have been more toiletries then just shampoo.

Beautiful location and fantastic views. The Freud Suite was amazing. Excellent breakfast.

The sauna was open for very limited hours. One of the toilets hadn't been flushed/cleaned when we arrived. I asked the staff to come clean it and they did.
