Poseidon Beach Hotel

This was our second stay at Poseidon and we would definitely be back next year, too. The beach is perfect, sandy and clean, the services at the hotel are great, the staff are super friendly. The main reason why we choose this hotel in the future again is the staff. We were happy with the food and drinks and also with the activities. Cameo Island, Marathonisi Island, Zante city and the airport are easily accessible from the hotel. There are several souvenir shops and supermarkets near the place. You can decide to have a nice walk in the nature nearby or to walk up to the busy high street.

It was near the beach and the sea which was good.

It wasn’t clean basically. The room service was not actually cleaning the towels or renewing the toiletries. In the booking process they don’t mention that there is no soap or shampoo or anything in the bathrooms. There were always random hairs on our bedding which made it disgusting. The entertainment program was not free ? we had an all inclusive package but we still had to pay for basic fun activities. Such as playing games or billiard.We were three people in the room and the third bed was a disaster! Just like the beds in army camp. There was noise during late nights especially during the entertainment hours. The hours for breakfast time was very short. Breakfast time was just until 10 which normally should last longer. Maybe till 11 even.

All of the staff was nice and polite with the genuine smile. Food was tasty and various. Location right on the beach.Our stay was really great. We had a very good time and hotel is very nice.

We had had two rooms. One was ok but the other was in bad condition. Shared rooms on the 2nd floor.

The location was right beside the sea. The food was okay. The room was very clean.

We didn't like the variety of all-inclusive drinks. They were either too sweet for cocktails or rotten wines.

Location was excellent, right on the beach. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool and on the grassy area to the side with extra sunbeds available if needed. Lovely large dining area half inside and half outside with good variety of food and fresh salads/fruit every day. Lovely inside bar and great outside pool bar and separate poolside snack bar. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and cleaned every day with fresh towels provided when needed along with extra bedding.

Not enough storage in room just one small wardrobe with hangers. No drawers just open shelves on bedside units. Being charged 20 Euros for 2 sunbeds when other places along the beach were either half that price or free! Cats being allowed to wander around the inside dining area as guests would feed them, stroke them and then handle the food service tongs. Having the bain maries covered instead of left open like the salad bar.

Location, staff, all meals, price for all in.

Need to restore beach chairs and other staff.

The breakfast was great lots of choices.Lunch and dinner were ok too. Always a salad bar and a pasta choice plus many other choices. Including freshly made pancakes and omelette every day. Sunbeds on grass area close to beach were free.

Drinks were not great including water which was on tap and tasted awful. We later realized if you used the soda tap that was nicely tasting still water. Drinks served in plastic cups. We got used to it and for the price couldn’t really complain.

A great October deal 84€/2 persons per night in All inclusive hotel by the beach including tons of food , ice-cream bar + all drinks was totally worth it. The omelettes and pasta the cook made during the meal time were very nice. Desserts were nice. Location nice, beautiful pool area and big but at least this time peaceful sandy beach. The reception was friendly.

For the price we paid there is really little to complain about as the price was so cheap, but a few notes to improve further:-Almost all the time the hot food was not hot enough and sometimes nearly cold-They don't offer pool/beach towels and until 4pm you need to pay to use the beach side sunbeds (the ones in the hotel area are free)-The walls don't have enough sound proofing -There was no proper light in the room, and sometimes a weird smell in the shower-First there was no shower gel/shampoo in the room but we got them after went to ask from the reception so maybe just an accident

Right at the beach with amazing pool and a bar by side. People can enjoy pool volley ball. There is music playing. The buffet dinner had a lot of varieties as well

On the beach, and the city was 10 minute walk. Bathroom pressure was good.

Locals and tourists were not friendly at all. The swimming pool was small and i went out of season. The buffet was not great. Very English oriented and had no Greek food whatsoever (apart from feta cheese). Gave no towels or bathroom toiletries so you would have to come prepared. In the room the sink was in the corridor and not in the bathroom

The hotel has delicious food, a great beachfront location, a nice beach with free sunbeds, and a clean, well-kept territory. However, the overall experience was just okay for the price

In the hotel was extremely noisy in the evenings and throughout the night, with music playing until morning, making it hard to get any sleep. The room was very small, with some things broken, and the air conditioner was old and barely worked. One of the beds was broken and completely unusable. The room cleaning was poor—there was always sand on the floor, and we often saw the cleaners smoking in the staff room instead of working. On top of that, the area around the pool had a terrible smell

The reception staff! they were kind and nice + they helped me with a request.Food was, I would just say decent.

I'm sorry but the cleaning staff are not cleaning the room. Sheets with spots, hair in the room when we arrived, bathroom was dirty. Fan at the bathroom was not working (I flagged this since day one but nobody came to check).I'm not sure who's idea was to have that type of bathroom in the hotel ( with a big window in the room + glass door). From my point of view, it was a really bad idea.

The “all inclusive” was nice however we didn’t use much of it so for us wasn’t worth it HOWEVER to others it would be!!! Staff was friendly and the location was great

The room wasn’t what we expected for what we paid especially the beds we had booked a double/ (with bunk in room) we didn’t need bunk but we were given twin beds when we brought it to the attention of the staff we were told “you won’t even notice if you push the beds together”…. It wasn’t super clean either when arriving (makeup all over the tables and walls (wiped up with a tissue so it’s not just stains) dirt on the floor in washroom and by the bed and we had to ask about getting clean towels on day 3 because the first 2 days they didn’t take the used ones and only came to “clean”(make the bed no bedding change not that that matters) after the first night but it was fine…..

This is an all inclusive hotel which is located in a very messy environment, the rooms are very basic, and the hotel was fully by of teenagers, kids and families, there was a very loud music from both sides of my room, from the hotel pool and the hotel next to it. Also the listing in misleading since the rooms in the pictures is their villa and not the actual rooms. I asked the manager to find me a less loud room or to cancel our reservation and she didn’t provide me with any solution. I eventually left the hotel one hour after arriving and paid a full amount.

If your style is loud music and all inclusive basic accommodation so you might find the place reasonable, if you are a couple, friends above the age of 18 or a quiet family, don’t book this place!

Great service, wonderful cuisine and meals, very nice pool and exterior of the hotel, cool view from balcony and vibe and action with youngsters :)

We expected louder hotel because of a lot of young ppl, it was mostly fine but we would recommended better room entrance door or sound proof isolation. Keep party going but let the others at rooms in peace :)

I loved the location. Right on the beach. Food was good. Lots of variety. Room service great and Room very clean. Staff helpful and lovely. Hotel tax & air con was included with booking.com price paid which was great.

There was nothing I didn't like. But beds in rooms could have been more comfortable..I don't mind a hard mattress so didn't bother me too much.
