Mediterranean Beach Resort

The location, staff kindness, the kitten in the garden. Overall a good and relaxing experience, but not a 5 stars equivalent respect other countries.

Lack of soap replacement (the dispensed we accidentally broke stayed unreplaceable for the whole staying), lack of a proper wardrobe, sunbeds taken with towels since early morning even if it was written not to do so.

Amazing staff! With high service level.Wonderful location on the beach.Eventhogh it is located in Laganas, the hotel was quiet and suitable for families. Rooms we're big and comfortable, with very good air-conditioning.

There was no hot water. The dinner comes in little portions. The phone was damaged

The hotel was very nice and clean, plus the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was upgraded for no apparent reason which was a welcome surprise. The best feature of the hotel is that was on 10 metres from the sea so was able to swim in the sea every day and still hang out around the pool. The breakfast included was excellent.

It would have been nice to have some shade on our balcony before 4pm. We had to exit the room every morning for the cleaner, whilst on our holiday last year we were able to sit on the balcony during cleaning without having to worry about getting overly hot. Also, the sunbeds by the pool were reserved very early every day and we got the impression people used to reserve them and then go off to do other activities knowing they had a nicely positioned sunbed for their return. There were avaliable sunbeds on the beech, but the price was €20 a day even for residents of the hotel. So when we exited our room for the cleaner there was nowhere to go but the pool bar were you felt obliged to spend money even if you had just eaten the very good breakfast included in the price of our stay.

I did not like anything about this place. We had leakage from toilet and drain in the bathroom. They sent some one to “fix” it after more than 24 hours. After I paid the cleaning person a good tip to sanitize the area , I took a shower and the problem reoccurred again. At the reception I asked for another room. They said they are full. After 5 hours of discussion with them I got transferred to another room. In the morning when I showered the same problem happened in new room. Marina the receptionist was very rude when I complained. I decided to leave but in middle of August could find 2 nights stay very far from the area I was. But I moved cause it was not hygienic. I had to go back to first hotel to do my final check out. Mediterranean Beach Resort was a nightmare.

The hotel is an old 5 stars hotel but well maintained and with a lovely garden. The staff is very nice and pleasant. The rooms are nice and big but it is a little bit old.

The fridge in the room was not big and didn’t make cold very well. They can make this change, in the summer 2 maxim 3 bottles of water can accommodate the fridge:(

It says it is 5 stars hotel, but it doesn’t look like that. The rooms should be ventilated more oftenly, and the curtains washed. Sunbeds on the beach should be free for hotel guests.

The breakfast was poor. It as the same every day and not what we would expect from 5* The pool bar food was good

The Gym was very poor. There were hardly any free weights and the multi gym machines were poor quality and worn out. The gym was not usable

The breakfast was very good, a large selection of options, something for everyone. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly and the hotel and surrounds were kept very clean.Our room was overlooking the pool and the beach and it had lots of space, over 2 floors with a balcony on each. I can highly recommend it!

The shower was over the bath with a glass screen covering just half the bath, so it was easy to flood the floor if you weren't careful enough. Dinners were okay but some days the food wasn't really hot enough.

The hotel was beautiful and spotless. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor which was fabulous. We really liked the pool and the view of the beach. The location was excellent. The staff were very professional and very friendly and helpful.

The only thing that was a little bit disappointing was the food in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. A small select menu and the food wasn't always very hot. The food at the poolside bar was very good.

Excellent hotel with friendly staff,comfortable rooms,scrumptious meals at the pool bar(moussaka a must) plus attentive service.Ideal pool area leading down to the beach.Buffet breakfast and dinner of good quality.Will definitely be back.

The hotel is right on the beach with a large pool area. The room was clean and the staff very friendly.We really enjoyed the breakfast and dinner with a great variety of delicious treats.I suggest you try the salmon at the pool bar.. absolutely my favourite dish :)

The hotel is placed right on the beach!! The staff at the snack bar is very friendly and room was very big and clean. The breakfast had a big variety and the dinner menu was always different and very tasty!!I will definitely stay again in the future!

Disappointing

Hotel is rated as 5*, which is absolutely joke. We actually booked Junior Suite, which was supposed to be one of the best rooms in the property. The price we paid for 3 nights was huge, but we thought ok, it is high season, it is 5* hotel, we have to accept these facts. But we were so disappointed when we arrived. Already the reception looked dark, no design, just unpleasant. We immediatelly knew, we did a wrong selection. For the money we paid, it wasnt absolutely 5* quality, size, equipment, terrible bathroom. The hallway to the room looked like cheap hostel. I would rated maximum as 3*. We are really surprised, how can booking.com offer this hotel as 5*. Never again.
