Pros +
- Great breakfast, great view from the room & restaurant. Wonderful mixture of stones all over location.
- The worse place ever been to
- We were very thankful to the staff finding possibility for us to prolong our checkout time (we had late evening flight), although the hotel was quite fully booked. Our room was quiet, private, air condotioner kept room temperature nicely cool (while 30 degrees outside). Loved all the meals especially the choice of delicious vegan food (though I am not vegeterian). Plenty of space in pool area for sunbathing.. We have been there for 8 times and will come back again.
Cons -
- A little bit far from the beach.
- Everything from the level of the room air conditioning. Staff manager rudeness etc. put a claim to you as well nothing happened
- I was wondering if the plastic waste is (could be) recycled specifically (if it could be supported for example reusing the same cup where possible)

Nice view to the sea and mountains. Good choices of food, also for vegeterians. Friendly staff, nice pool.

A view is astonishing, but only if you get the right rooms - 2nd, better 3rd floors. In my opinion, the rooms on the ground floor is a vasted vacation. The location is great, in case you come with your vehicle, as we did. Two pools are a good idea, most of the time you find one of them not busy. Kids club is fine, don't forget to ask for remote controller, otherwise, you will be forced to get down the hill, and when return to the top (where the kids club is located) just to pick it up and turn air conditioner on :) WiFi is good.
The hotel should decide whether it is indeed "all inclusive". On the one hand, it is not far from being a 4-star, really! But at the same time... Look, it can be called Koni Village AND SUPERMARKET Hotel. Why? Because there is a supermarket, and they do everything you will buy stuff there :) For example, they change towels once a three days, and don't offer towels for pool. A hint - buy in the supermarket. We also didn't get enough shower gel and shampoo for 4 persons. Even when asked. Again, there is a hint to buy in their supermarket. I don't think it is a good way to manage all-inclusive hotel. There is also no entertainment for kids, except the pool. The playground was dirty and broken, my kids couldn't use it. The food is fine, but we would recommend offer more fresh vegetables. Finally, you should keep in mind, that the hotel is on the hill. It is not easy for everyone to climb it. The phone in the room was dead, so we couldn't call reception. And I remind, it is a sporting challenge to get there and back to your room on the hill :) In family suite there is only one air conditioner for 2 rooms. Not sure it will always help.
We had booked a room with sea view and weren't disappointed. The room was spacious and clean. The facilities weren't fancy, but they were definitely decent for a 3-star hotel. We loved the food - and the warm atmosphere created by the amazing staff. We had a great stay and would absolutely come back.
This was our fourth time to Crete and our 3rd time staying at Koni village. So we knew what to expect. Great location. Maybe a 10 minute walk to the beach. The food quality hasn't really changed in 10 years but it does the job. You may need a Rennies if you avail of the local whisky and rum that's on offer to the all inclusive crowd, but the beer is grand.
The lack of empathy or understanding from reception when we asked for a late check out as our flights were changed, but that's the game I suppose. We did enjoy the free drinks, whilst waiting the 6 hours until our taxi came to take us to that poor excuse for an airport they have there.
Property was very clean, cleaners were on it with daily cleaning. Staff were very nice and friendly
The food wasn’t the best, very little choice. We stayed right at the top of the resort, the hill to walk up was so steep that even healthy people would struggle, I have a bad heart and wished I’d mentioned this beforehand if I would’ve known the hill was this bad
The breakfast was very good. There was an excellent range of choice. The dining room was clean and bright and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
The plastic paper cups too hot to carry back to table and very bad for environment. It would be a vast improvement to have China mugs/cups and teaspoons. The plates are china and the cutlery is steel not balsa wood sticks, which is more waste.
All was almost great- food, pools, views
The place is hilly and tourists must say when they are booking that they have problems with walking - that was my case but staff was great to allocate my apartment on lower level to safe my legs n heart. Also it should be organised pick up n down to main road as it’s some walking distance to bus n hard especially in heat to walk. Seaside is far to reach to so that should be help too for it unless you have a car. I was ok with pools though
Very clean and friendly staff.I loved every bit of the food.
The restaurant is not big enough. Sometimes we have to wait outside for others to finish eating.
Perfect place to have holiday in Stalida. Very nice location up the hill. Helpful and kind staff. Never and never say no to stay here.
Beautiful pool and views of the ocean and surrounding hills. Shower was amazing
It’s quite hilly and a little bit tucked out of the way from the main strip of shopping and nightlife etc. so many smokers just allowed everywhere, difficult to relax by the pool or near the bar. They need to designate an area for them.
The staff was really friendly, we had amazing views and the room was big.
When we arrived, the house keeping had forgotten to clean the bathroom and there were items left from the previous customers. We paid extra to have a better room with sea view, we ended up to have to climb a very steep hill to get to our room everyday for said sea view, wouldn't recommend. The food was quite bad also, the weren't many options and the ones that had weren't always that good.Regarding the all inclusive alcohol, we saw the bartender filling vodka bottles with soda, which explains why the drinks tasted like water.Write a short sentence to sum up your stay.
Clean, modern hotel very smart to look at very welcoming staff great value for money great views brilliant staff
Needed abit more live entertainment and drinks machine in room
Room was very clean, staff were lovely, location is very good
The food. Me and my son were ill due to food also few people we spoke to while staying there, they were also unwell with diarrhoea as well
I liked everything very much. Service, food, bar. The view was amazing too.

The hotel is set on a hillside with great sea views. The rooms are basic but very clean and a good size. Comfy beds. The food is OK. The choice is enough to find something you like. Drinks are limited choice but not bad. MOST....staff are very friendly and welcoming.
The problem I have with Koni Village is that I made quite a serious complaint to the management regarding the inappropriate offensive behaviour of the young barman there. I have contacted them twice regarding this and a week later I have still had no response. My complaint was about unacceptable sexual comments and no hotel should ignore this type of complaint. It puts visitors at risk.
The view, the confort of the room, the staff is very friendly and the food is always fresh and good
Is not that close to the beach if you want to go walking
The hotel exceeded our expectations. The food was very tasty and varied. The staff were very friendly and willing to answer any questions we had. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Overall we had a very relaxing weekend. We really want to visit this hotel again in the summer. Special thanks to the administrator Eva, a wonderful specialist, a very kind and attentive person!
