Horizon Beach

We loved the location. Spectacular views from the dining room. The sea surrounding the hotel is pristine and beautiful. Great place to swim and snorkel. Our room was very well appointed and immaculately decorated and clean. The food was excellent and plentiful. I really appreciated that the chef did not overly salt the food but instead allowed the natural flavors to shine through. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Very professional.

The only negative for us was the stairs leading down to the swimming platform. They should have rails for the safety of old people. Also the ladder used to climb in and out of the ocean needs to be adjusted. The top step of the ladder is not useable because it is to close to the wood of the platform. This makes it difficult for older people to climb back up.

A nice hotel located on the rocks with a view over Stalida. (Mostly) friendly and helpful staff, a great aqua park for children and a lot of food.

The experience could have been perfect, if there were not some strange rules in the restaurant. If you are a group of three, you have difficulties to find a nice table, especially directly at the balcony railings, which is really a pity. If you try, the staff responsible for this area reacts very harsh and unfriendly so that your mood for a nice breakfast or dinner is completely messed up. This is so unnecessary and I hope they will change their attitude or find a better solution fitting staff's needs and guest's wishes.

Great location and we liked the style of the accommodation. The hotel also put out (Twentysomething!) children right next to us which was really helpful. Great food and nice staff. Used the spa

Gym was not really up to the job but a minor point.

Might seem stupid but only family rooms get kettles and you can't get coffee till 8.e0 when we asked for paper cups got told noStaff rude and unhelpfulWeed smell near roomFood very much the same each dayOnly drinks on all inclusive are coffee tea beer wine basic spirits and fizzy. Anything else you pay for. The staff is really hospitable, polite and doing more than they can to assist in everything! Front desk employees and all working at the restaurant were very kind and lovely. We got our room early in the morning due to our baby and the room for very good-located for the family like us.

The sandy beach is a bit far, 10-12 minutes by walking, it is not easy in 30+ degrees. The air-conditioning in the restaurant is almost not working, it is very difficult to eat while sweating.

Perfect location, perfect coordination from the stay from coming to the airport until coming back home, nice friendly personal staff everywhere and perfect room and pools location.We did one of the best family vacations in this hotel The all inclusive service was also with amazing food, and amazing animation from Greece culture.

The food needs a big improvement, we ate out of the hotel for our meals. The rooms were very basic, no insulation so lots of noise. the shower had a small curtain and flooded the entire bathroom when you had a shower.

Nice place with beautiful view on the coast. Perfect and fresh meals. Nice hotel staff with smiles on faces. Good accomodation.

No one secured the the hotel. Local kids on the pool, shouting and destroying pumped pool toys. Water in the main pool was slightly salted.

Absolutely top - Mr. Vasiliji from Reservation/Reception and his team:)Still, very nice staff members overall from restaurant/bar people to technician and pool water slighting attendant - everybody was friendly at all times, despite they must have had a busy season behind them, we stayed there the last week before closing.Everybody very friendly to small kids, makes life easier:)All inclusive - there are always people who like to see a higher quality in product variety offered, I only can state, price/value for „All Inclusive“ was fantastic at all times and more you can eat!

The hotel needs some refurbishment, it’s about time inmany areas.Maybe they could serve all day coffee/tea in the lobby bar, so you don‘t have to go to the pool bar downstairs.Still, seeing price/value of services and inclusions offered - nothing to criticise!!!

Great front of house staff.

The property was very unkept, lawns , gardens etc needed much attention. Dining like a school boarding house, with very grumpy matron. Pools small for size of complex.

Great location and comfortable beds

Food choices not great, we were all inclusive and ended up eating in the restaurants in town instead. Drinks served in plastic water dispenser cups at all times. Not enough sunbeds.

The hotel is one of the best hotel which we have ever stayed in Crete. All the staff are very kind and extremely efficient, and on top of that, the Manager is such a wonderful person. The Hotel is perfect for family with kids, with very nice water slides which they can play all day. There is a private pontoon leading to rocky beach where you can do snorkeling and observe fishes and even feed them. The restaurants and canteen serve food and water around the day which kids can find a lot of things they like. We have had a wonderful holidays there and surely willcome back next year.

Nothing we don’t like. Just a bit more of entertainment for kids at night (self organized dancing party) could be a nice idea

The location was great. The room was fine for 4 days but wouldn't call it superior. Disappointing bar service for all inclusive and the food was OK but we ended up walking into town for the restaurants.

More selection on all inclusive food / snacks although I wouldn't stay all inclusive as there are lots of lovely restaurants within walking distance. Needs more sunbeds too by the pool

The area was lovely not a far walk from the beach and strip, the room was comfy and had a great view of the sea.

Although there was a great variety of food it was very much repetitive and somewhat bland half of the time. The only problem we had with the room was finding ants on the floor each time we got back from being out.

Stayed at a superior family room for 4 days and it was a great experience. The room was cleaned thoroughly every day and towels were changed daily. The food was very good with a wide variety, suitable for all tastes. There was a snack bar open almost all day with food, ice cream, biscuits and cakes. Coffee and beverages were also available till late at night. The all inclusive package does include alcohol and some cocktails which were great. The pools were big and very clean and the water park was enjoyable for all ages.

The areal is nice.The look from the room and the restaurant/bar is great.The rooms are not very pretty but functional.The personal at the reception and the restaurant is very courteous.

The cleaning service of the room was not very clean.The way to the sand beach is about 600 meters and not accessibility.The meal in the restaurant is not typical native.

The rooms were being cleaned every day , the food was good and diverse and the staff was nice and friendly.

sometimes was very busy at the breakfast and it was hard to find a table . We were a group of seven , two families and we were told can’t join two tables to have dinner together.

We arrived at the hotel and the attitude from the first moment was always with a smile whether it's at the reception popi, nicoleta, vasili they responded to every request and did everything to make us satisfied and also when we went on a trip they gave us a drink and crackers to go. The rooms are nice, we got one with a sea view. The food is delicious, teeo's service is very patient and always with a smile. We had a round trip shuttle to the airport which is an advantage. We got free wifi. Their water park is nice with 3 types of slides for big and small, also a pool with small slides. Very nice and pleasant
