La Cala Resort

Staff were very accommodating with an early checkin after a early flight. Very friendly greeting at reception on arrival. Rooms were lovely! Shower was the best we’ve ever had! Didn’t want to get out! Had a lovely view of the golf course. Enjoyed breakfast and meals at the club house were lovely. Again the staff were really friendly. Enjoyed the spa and used the driving range. Just bought an apartment here so look forward so look forward to spending more time at the resort.

Breakfast area but it was a closed area due to the bad weather, I’m sure with good weather that it is open

the staff are super friendly and made my very short stay a pleasant experience.

The hotel is undergoing extensive renovations so it will be interesting to see how it improves as the rooms are dated. My only annoyance was the very loud fan in the bathroom which is linked to the light switch.

The pool is big and nice

A bit far , there’s no restaurant or cafe around it , shortage in staff in the pool area only one person is hardly can take the order

Had a wonderful stay at La Cala Golf. Paco on the front desk gave us the warmest welcome and set the tone for our entire stay. Jose Luis on the bar was equally lovely as was Steph, Ana and Virginia in the Spa. I highly recommend this hotel. Will be back.

Lovely rooms, great food in the restaurants, friendly and helpful staff, nice quiet swimming pool.

The staff here are amazing, super welcoming and attentive to all of the guests. The food at the three different restaurants is by far the best hotel food we've ever had and with so much choice it would be easy to not venture elsewhere! We enjoyed the pool area which has a swim up bar and great lunch and drinks menu on offer.

The gym was a bit small and dated, we still used it every morning but it could do with an upgrade. There wasn't quite enough sun loungers around the pool which meant some guests were sitting on chairs throughout the day.

We went for a wedding and we need to get taxis to the wedding venue and the hotel staff was amazing and helpped me get to and from the venue and nothing was too much bother for them.

Top service especially from the people working at the front desks. The manager is always around and knows how to please the customers. Food served at the restaurants also delicious. The golf academy boasts an amazing coach!

Amazing staff and exceptional food make La Cala a hotel we would like to return to year on year. Everything is kept immaculate and it was the perfect couple's getaway. This was our third visit and we were not disappointed. Location and pool both perfect, wonderfully delicious breakfast.

Not very much. The bed was comfy, that was basically all that was enjoyable on this trip.

Staff were horrendous. We have stayed here a number of times since it opened. Shower flooded the bathroom even though we were told it was newly fitted. A porter walked into the room while I was getting changed without knocking. They tried to charge us 50 euros for renting tennis rackets even though we were told it was a deposit. The member of staff Paco then kicked the reception desk and slammed a door when we questioned it, my daughter was terrified! The breakfast buffet was poor, nothing was changed or re filled in the hour and a half we sat there. The waitress Derv from Ireland was lovely and about the only good thing about this stay. There were no toiletries etc in the room either or the spa, this is new as any previous stays we have had there has been loads. We 100% will not be returning and will be putting in a formal complaint regarding our stay and abusive behaviour of the staff.

Views were beautiful, lovely big rooms, very comfortable with views across the golf course. We stayed in several hotels during our stay and this was the most spacious and service was excellent.

Breakfast was particularly good. Excellent choice of foods and all very nicely presented. Staff were lovely and friendly and super helpful. The rooms were spacious and very clean and the views were spectacular.The staff were all very courteous and friendly and very helpful in getting taxis etc for us.

As a non golfer, it was very far away from the towns. I’m sure they probably provide a bus service but I wasn’t aware of this. Didn’t bother me too much as I was only there two nights. Everything else about the hotel was spot on.

We loved everything about the property, well laid out, everything exactly where it should be. Staff were absolutely amazing, food was excellent.

The only slight annoyance was the building work going, but that said, if there’s no work there’s no improvement!

Perfect for golfers ( 3 courses on site and training facilities) . SPA is great , clean . Staff if very friendly and helpful everywhere (reception, bar, SPA, Golf) . Cosy atmosphere at the bar
