Mystic Isle Motel

Great location at the top of the hill. Very clean and comfortable room. Parking directly in front of door. While there is not continental breakfast (small motel), there was a nice room with ice, coffee, tea, purified water, microwave, etc.

Real coffee cups and glassware, not plastic and styrofoam. Excellent coffees and teas. Clean, cute, tastefully decorated, friendly.

Our room was charming! The decor was so cute. The room was immaculate. The shower was great. The bed was soooo comfortable. There were special little touches that made Mystic Isle exceptional!

Not really. It seemed a little odd to have a drink/snack room with no running water (so you couldn't fill up the kettle). But most places don't even have that so I can't really complain.

Fantastic value. The room was very well appointed, clean and nicely designed - much thought was put into the little details and it shows. The grounds are similarly beautiful. One of the nicest motels I have ever stayed in.

It suited our accommodation requirements, convenience great location on the highway, and restaurant very available.

Other than no ice available all was good.

The hotel exceeded my expectations... it was a pleasant surprise! Clean, convenient and the hostess was exceptionally personable.. I would fully recommend it!

Clean rooms, good pricing, quiet location.

pipes in our room were frozen when we arrived. No water. Then after an hour we only had hot water water. no cold. then the water was coming out brown. The heat did not work. We had it on high. My son and I had to sleep in our winter coats and hats. Frozen

Great location right off the trans Canada. Rooms were clean and in good repair. A nice respite of civilization out in northern Ontario.

Driveway can be tricky to find at night.

Turned off the lights at turn off very early and missed turn off first time as too dark.

Clean and comfortable. Stylish rooms with small touches like several different flavours if tea and china cups and glasses. Microwave available in room where u get ice. Beautiful location on a hill just a couple of minutes outside Wawa.

Thick towels; very clean, spacious, & newly renovated room; quiet area across the highway from lake; older queen bed w/decent back support; tiny mini-fridge did have slender freezer at the top. Front desk lady was efficient, but not exactly friendly.

Fairly slow wifi, no microwave, no A/C but breeze through windows was sufficient to cool room. Bathroom door needs shortening by  because catching on newly tiled floor & prohibiting full access to the sink.

It was so clean, the room was beautifully decorated. Most importantly the bed was comfortable.

Couldn't find the ice machine.

This is the BEST motel in the area. Someone has taken the time and care to renovate it to standards that rival lodging seldom found "in the bush." We appreciate that.

When we arrived I had too many reservations. Evidently one that I cancelled back in March had not been canceled. It was a hassle to get it canceled where our cellphones don't work. The desk person was very helpful.

A beautiful little place up on the hill, just before you get to Wawa. It's clean and comfortable and still feels like you're tucked into the wildlife that we went to see.

Mattress could have been a little more comfortable
