Big Bird Inn Wawa, SureStay Collection by Best Western

Breakfast wasn’t bad, but may have been special due to a large group of international students staying there.

The room smelled like Urine.

The hotel was updated and quick to check in.

I didn¿t realize that I could have chosen a nonsmoking room. The room had a smell. There wasn¿t many options for food and the location was kind of sketchy.

That it wasn¿t motel style, meaning we didn¿t want a door that opened to the exterior.

no glasses or cups in the room, you had to get plastic cups in the lobby just to have a cup for brushing your teeth. No Kleenex. No rack for your luggage, saggy bed, fake wood tiles that buckled when stepped on, water was tepid at best. Horrible place.

The beds were comfortable.

Booked for three adults, only had towels for two. No counter in the bathroom so no place to put toiletries. No glasses in room, had to go to coffee bar to get glasses. Overpriced for what was provided.

Was a nice hotel. I was unaware that the booking was made in US dollars not Canadian so the cost went up instantly. Also the price of the room was increased when we arrived, which I refused to pay. We payed what I was quoted.

This hotel seems to be newly renovated. Hotel and room's condition meets our expectation of lodging one night in Wawa. Only one thing worthy to be mention about room, the room still has some small of renovation which is not bad smell but it is there.

There was no breakfast served on my first morning there, but when there was breakfast, it was really good.

Breakfast items were all finished by 8am. Disappointed

The care and attention from the staff was constantly amazing. I turned up late for breakfast after sleeping in, and a staff member noticed and very kindly made me up a plate of hot food. When I messaged about maybe needing a boot at as I was leaving puddles on the floor, housekeeping was at my door within minutes (not with a boot mat, but with a solution). Entries/exits kept incredibly clear during a prolonged storm.
