HWY 17 Hotel

Very friendly staff, no room deposit or pet deposit.

It was very dirty, the bedding was extremely smelly

Right off the hwy, open 24 hrs, very clean rooms. Much better than we were expecting.

It would have been nice to have real milk or cream with the morning coffee and not artificial creamer. For the price I would think a continental breakfast might be available.

Location/ easy check in -- they had more than a thin sheet sheet on the bed and the room was warm so I could actually sleep!!! The hotel seemed quiet so I could get some rest and continue with my travels. Esso station right next door for fuel and coffee!!

Hotel had one excellent review which focused on how clean it was. We were very disappointed with cleanliness. Dust over everything and dirty hand prints all over bathroom. Potent air freshners were lining the hallway in and were too much.

It was dirty and air freshners were too nauseating.

It was NOT at all as advertised. In fact I would call it false advertising. I booked that hotel based on the online description. For example fireplace advertised, there was none, separate bedroom advertised, there was none.

The value for a quick stay while travelling, very nice staff and clean.

I was woken by dogs barking in the hallway, my only complaint.

Beds were comfortable and room was nice and big. We brought our dog and we were charged another $15 for a large dog.

No glasses or blow dryers in the rooms, but glasses were available in the lobby where the coffee was available. Blow dryers were available if you asked at the front desk.

The room was a good size and it was clean. The location was a perfect stop on my travels.

It was there when we needed it … the highway was closed and we were stuck but they had available rooms … I would not say comfortable but it was a place to spend the night

The couch was very old and looked dirty There was no are to seat like a leaving room there was no breakfast there was no coffee machine in the room they had it in front of with some cookies which we could not eat … Tim Hortons was “close” but driving distance the guy in front reception was nice ..
