    Pros +

    • Quaint place that is a cross between a hostel and airBnB. Lots of pajama offerings, and decent bathroom amenities. Kitchen had a lot of appliances and kitchen tools. Room was beautiful and comfortable.
    • The guesthouse is Exquisite!!! I can’t say enough about how beautiful and well appointed it is. Staff is outstanding, kind, and generous with suggestions and a bike to use. I stayed 8 nights:), so got to know the place well. It was perfect for me, and if I’m Ever on Sado again, or if friends need a recommendation, I will stay again.
    • Gorgeous modern inn, with hostel style accommodations. We were a group of 6 people staying in 3 of the rooms. The beds were comfortable, rooms were spacious and well designed. We stayed in the summer and each room had its own AC unit. Loved the pajamas and hair/skin amenities. Shared spaces (kitchen, living/dining, bathrooms, showers, laundry) were clean, spacious, well appointed and lots of seating options to relax and eat. Our favorite part of this accommodation was the view of the beach and bay from the living area window, and the location directly on the water. Owner and staff were professional, very helpful, and friendly.

    Cons -

    • The first floor bathrooms felt very eerie. There were roaches crawling around.
    • I am quite sensitive to noise, and I could often hear conversations or doors, hairdryer etc. But , honestly, I’m more sensitive to noise than most, but would suggest good earplugs if you are.

The location Is right on the beach. The house is an architect design with every comfort possible. Shared toilet, shower. kitchen and living room but it feels like home. The host was amazing. welcoming and informative and speaks perfect English.

I liked Sado and the Guest Villa so much, I even extended my stay and spend 4 nights. Wish I could have even stayed longer.Where do I start; the house itself is just very pretty already from the outside, but so is the interior. You have a spacious living area with kitchen and a big balcony with ocean view (must be nice in summer) and everything is very tidy and clean. The bathrooms and toilets (several of both) are also clean, modern and with all the necessities you might need. I had the single room which was spacious and the bed was the most comfortable one on my 6 weeks of travelling ☺️ I also used the breakfast option for 500 Yen selfmade everyday and was allowed to use the laundry for free!Second gem about the Villa is Mitsu himself :) he is so kind, engaged, caring and helpful. You can tell that he loves his Hotel and makes an effort for all the details.Location: very good for public transport especially for the south and west of sado. Bus station not even 5 minutes away, Lawson 24/7 not even 10 minutes. takes about 40 minutes from the ferry by bus. You see and hear the ocean all the time ?10/10 recommend. This made my stay really special and I hope to be back soon.

Villa with good view on the beach. Confy room, luxurious shared facilities (living room, kitchen, toilets). Good self-service breakfast for 500 yen. The location is pretty good, since it is close to a bus station which allows you to go to the main port (Ryotsu) and to visit the golden mines and Ogi/Shukunegi without transfer. Near the villa there are several good dining options.

I really loved the view and the staff was amazing too with many tips both regarding dining and sights.

The sounds from the living room can easily be heard from your bedroom, not a big issue but I would recommend to use earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

The building is immaculate, and the staff are some of the best in japan.

Getting to the villa was a little difficult, but I should have rented a car.

-2nd visit in 3 months, a nice and comfort place to stay, supreme bay view and early summer weather is just so great-met a nice young lady staff, seriously took care of our request and super helpful-freely to use the kitchen-500 yen for an easy self-cooking breakfast with bread, sausage, coffee, fruits, cereal and apple juice: happy man.

-Friendly staff -Very comfortable pilots and bed-Large share kitchen / common area, and lovely bay view, hotel just sits in front of the coast-Reasonable breakfast costs 500 yen, includes milk, apple juice, bread, sausage, cereal, coffee, tea-Full cooking equipment at kitchen, i.e. toaster, microwave, rice cooker, -Close to convenient store, supermarket, 2 mins drive / 10 mins walk distance-Few restaurants surrounded

Perhaps share bathroom, toilets facilities, better be organized and prepared, no last minutes solution :)

This a beautiful villa, beautiful design and comfort

Although it is written in the description, it was a surprise for us that this is actually a guest house where kitchen, toilets and bathroom are all shared. However, the other guests were so nice and we enjoyed the place very much.

This place is heaven. Absolutely beautiful, amazing location, great people . I travelled together with my 3yrs old son and everything was just perfect. We planned to stay 3 nights but eventually stayed 7. The owner and the staff were amazing. They really made us feel like we are among friends and family. Thank you for that. I hope it was not our last time in Sado and this beautiful place.

    Nothing at all.

The owner was so genuine and helpful, he really made our stay wonderful. Dinner in the restaurant downstairs was amazing and the breakfast bento was also really good.

The walls are a little thin.
