Tarisa Resort & Spa

Pros +

• The food was good enough on the all inclusive and there was you could always find a tasty dish on the buffet. The pool and bar area are not bad at all. Easy access to Grand Baie with daily shuttle or cheap bus ride. But the he staff really carry this resort. They go out of their way to help, sometimes without being provided the tools by the establishment. They made the difference.... without them this place would have been poor.
• All the staff were very good, especially Desant. The entire experience was great, and everyone was friendly and helpful.
• Descent, about the facilities, and some space seem to renovated. Quiet place and next to Choisy beach The stuff!!! these guys were absolutely perfect! The reception stuff was kind and helpful!!! The guys at the bar and the restaurant, were absolutely perfect. Especially the barman with the special secret cocktail recipe!!!!

Cons -

• The beach right in front of the hotel is okay, but there a lot better in Mauritius. Rooms are pretty average but the beds etc. are in need of an upgrade. The entertainment was poor.... the so called entertainment manager went AWOL after day one and wasn't replaced. The beach facilities were not up to standard or what is offered in adverts. All this meant we had to provide our own evening entertainment and fun for the family. Hotel generally has a run down feel.
