The Sebel Noosa

The staff were very friendly and the apartment had everything I needed. It was a bonus to have free parking included.

There was a strong smell of sewage coming from the building we were in. This took away from the overall experience. It would also be nice if the pool temperature could be adjusted for Winter. The water was so cold we could not enjoy the pool.

Noisy. Room was not cleaned properly sand in shower, on benches and lounge when checked in. Dirty nappies left in common areas.

Incredible location right in the middle of Hastings St, but the apartment was a little bit old and tired and had not been cleaned thoroughly. I would still recommend it for the location.

Location of the Sebel is excellent. It opens onto Hasting St. Very close to all shops, restaurants and the beach. Security was good, fittings and layout of apartment was good. Parking was secure and underneath the property and entered from the rear of the property so no need to navigate busy Hastings St.

Sebel is beginning to show some signs of age. Only minor signs but some need for attention. We would have preferred a King size bed. The extra large bed was more like a Queen Size. The tiling was a little old fashioned but clean with signs of wear. Bathroom was immaculate but some dampness issues at the base of the door. Excellent shower but older style, glass door. A noisy swimming pool with loud excited children. Luckily, our room did not overlook the pool. I would avoid being close to the pool is you are travelling as a couple.

Not worth the price - room is dated and bed uncomfortable - cannot believe i spent $$$ Check out at 10:00 am too early. And there was some humming water feature noise in my room all night

Location is superb, right in the middle of Hastings street, set back from the road so nice and quiet but with restaurants, shops and the beach right by the door. Staff were really helpful and friendly. The pool area and garden beds are really pretty. The apartment was spacious for two people and had a lovely balcony, carefully screened so quite private despite the apartments of another resort just opposite. Had all the necessary facilities for a holiday apartment: decent size fridge/freezer, kettle, coffeemaker, iron, cook top, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, tv etc. All in all, great value for money, particularly for Noosa. The room seemed to be serviced daily with bins emptied daily, bathroom and kitchen wiped down and towels replenished regularly plus two full cleans during our week's stay.

We have stayed at the Sebel before but in a privately owned apartment so it was immediately obvious that although the apartment was very clean and spacious with relatively new appliances, it was a bit dated in terms of furnishing and colour scheme (very beige) and could do with a refresh. Storage is very limited so many clothes stayed in the case for the duration of our break – it would probably be better to replace the spa bath in the bedroom with a larger wardrobe.

Top location, everything at your door step. Room was fantastic, lots of room and cleaned every day.

Toilet seat moved, pool gates don’t have push/pull signs on them, takes you a while to work out, pool only has steps on one side of it, if you dump your towel on the wrong side you have to walk all the way around it

The position of the hotel is excellent, right on Hastings Street. Comfortable bed. Good shower pressure and large bathroom. In fact the whole room was very large with a small kitchenette and lounge area.

We parked our car in the parking basement. We should have been told to come up to reception to check in, then go back down to get our luggage. Otherwise people are lugging luggage all over the place. Also, I've stayed here before so I knew to go to the rear of the property for parking, but if I didn't know, I wasn't told not to go to Hastings Street. They were doing work around the pool - of course it has to happen sometime to keep the place looking good but the pool water and the ponds around the walkway all looked a bit murky.

Having a fully self contained apartment with balcony

I was extremely disappointed after checking and waking up the second morning to find a male pair of sleeping pants that were half left under the bed. It left me feeling as though the apartment had not been cleaned and it ultimately was the reason we had to pay for new flights to head home early. I was just not comfortable at in the room.

Pool area is a bit too small. Lots of unnecessary water plunge pools. Spa is also away from pool area which is inconvenient.

The location was perfect. The outdoor facilities were well maintained. The staff were friendly.

The room was filthy. The shower was covered in mould and scum, we were worried to use it. The floors were so dirty. The place was run down and definitely not worth the money paid.

The apartment was not clean upon arrival, item on the floor sand on the rug.the car parking is an issue, you can't let people book thinking they will have a car spacelucky if 5 foxtel chanels work, cant connect the tv to your phone, no foxtel in the bedroomthe apartment is generally tired the doors need to be sanded and re-painted the couch is old for the price its not something i would recommend to another traveller.
