Set between impressive rock formations, Ridge in Cabo San Lucas offers views of the Sea of Cortez and access to the private Solmar Beach. Close to the marina and Land’s End, it features a spa and 4 restaurants. The Ridge at Playa Grande provides suites with a microwave and a fridge. Each suite includes flat-screen cable TV with pay-per-view movies and an in-room safe. A bathrobe and slippers are provided. The Ridge at Playa Grande features 3 infinity swimming pools, tennis courts and mini-golf. There is also a coffee shop, and staff at reception can arrange butler services and car rental.

- Pros: Excellent location for NY's eve fireworks, tucked away from the downtown, Very nice lobby, we weren't pushed too much to do a timeshare presentation, breakfast is relatively good, food at sports bar was good, beautiful grounds and pools

- Cons: I wish there was an option to take a shuttle to/from the hotel because it is a hike! I do not understand why we have to pay for mini golf, kids club, & tennis. I've never seen a hotel/timeshare, that does this! This is probably why I won't return.
- Room and decor a bit dated, close to loud nightlife
- We didnt get to stay at the Ridge and we weren't notified before hand it was closed, so we didnt get the views instead we gotva room that was no where close to what we wanted but sttled for it because paying more for another one wasnt worth it to us.

It was quiet and secluded and away from the main hotel.The hotel did a great job catering to my son who has celiacs.
The food and drinks were expensive based on US standards.
