    Pros +

    • great room, nice beds
    • The room is spacious and nicely designed.Breakfast was great, and the staff is super nice.
    • We were in room 6 - very large - which had skylights so no view as such over the town. But the soundproofing worked wonderfully well; there was only a very low buzz of noise from the packed bars and restaurants down below. The bath was very welcome after a day of cycling; and the separate shower good and strong. Nice breakfast: I had asked for gluten- and dairy-free options at breakfast, and they provided soya yoghurt and g-f bread. Excellent omelettes each morning that went very well with the smoked salmon. Super location, right in the heart of 's Hertogenbosch

    Cons -

    • the noise outside in the morning when the trucks brought the supplies
    • The room we were in didn't have a door for the bathroom, and it was inconvenient for us, but probably not an issue for others.
    • Nothing, all good!

The room was great beautifully decorated, with two big beds in it. Everything was very clean, the cleaning ladies did an excellent job. Everyone in the hotel was charming as well.

Fantastic room- incredibly spacious and well fitted. Comfy, enormous beds and huge bathroom. Wonderful location with lovely views of the old streets surrounding. Well insulated from noise and light. Super friendly, helpful staff and nice breakfast. Great value.

A very unique and beautiful place in the center of the city.

It’s a challenge to get upstairs with small kids and luggage.

Friendly staff and pictures of naked women. The view from the window is beautiful. And the breakfast is good

You can hear people walking upstairs. But that's a minor detail.

Very Dutch, very clean and beautifully appointed.

The stairs are super steep and difficult for luggage, but this is an historic building. This would be more workable if the black carpet was somehow illuminated.

Wow! Such a beautiful space and room. We had a huge space and really chilled out. I had a gorgeous bath. Great location.

A little noisey in the evening.

Exceptional suite for 4 (two double beds). Beautiful decoration and tastefully restored 15th century building

Stairs to room were steep (typical in old Dutch House). Parking is off site but you can park close by (150 metres) in secure parking or they have competitive valet parking

First and foremost the staff was excellent. Everyone was cheerful, helpful and professional. Secondly, the property and the rooms are beautifully and thoughtfully designed. Finally, the location is right in the heart of the city. The breakfast was also very good.

it could get a little noisy at night, but the windows are thick and the bars close down by midnight, so it wasn’t really a problem for us.

This is a must stay. The room we stayed in was tastefully decorated and huge. The amenities were beautiful and luxurious and the staff incredibly friendly. A really really beautiful stay. Great food in the area too. The hotel is just the city’s oldest building. So really beautiful.

The stairs to the room were very steep.
