Cons -
- The only challenge was our taxi driver had trouble finding his way into the old town to access the hotel. I think this was more of a Google Maps issue than anything else.
- Noise from street at nightBath and floor when wet ? ? very slippery almost dangerous
- The room stank of ciigarette smoke. The lights were faulty and kept flickering.

The location was cebtral.
The room stank of ciigarette smoke. The lights were faulty and kept flickering.
Sauna and roof top pool though it wasn’t heated
Amazing location in the middle of Alcudia old town. Beautiful, large room with stone walls and enormous bathroom.
I could not check in with a human. They had a phone number with an online form and a text bot instead. I was in a separate building from the main check-in desk (which nobody was at) so I had to figure out how to check in, where to go, which codes to use, and where my key was left in a different building. All at 9pm at night, alone. Also, my room was on the ground floor and my windows opened directly to the road with locks that were not fully working. I wanted to change room as I was a woman alone staying there, but there was no person who would pick up the phone at the hotel. I could not get in touch with anyone. I felt uncomfortable staying there because I had no help or support.
Clean. New. Good facilities. Modern. Great extras (terrace, sauna)
No tea. No milk. Mattress was uncomfortable. No hand soap
Great location for exploring the old city. Pleasant breakfast in the courtyard.
Our room was pretty small and dark and directly above the kitchen and restaurant which meant lots of noise until the early hours. Was not what I was expecting from the website photos and not worth the £200 per night price tag.
Central location, very friendly cleaning staff.
The room didn’t look like the photos on booking.com. The room was fine but the bathroom let it down, new bath needed, very stained around the plug hole and cracks that have been badly sealed.
Hotel Can Simó Petit claims to be 4 stars and it is not close to it. I am uploading photos/videos of the lack of maintenance of the services/facilities. The worst was the bed mattress, which they have to change urgently. It was sinking in the center and was very uncomfortable.
Loved the room. Breakfast was very good
The terrace was unusable late afternoon or evening due to the cooking extraction from below
The location was fantastic in the middle of the historic town of Alcudia and it was lovely walking around the picturesque streets of the area. The staff were very polite and helpful.
The building is older than what it looks like in the pictures, there was some leaking from the ceiling in the bathroom and the bed was ridiculously squeeky.
Stunning property, the rooms are gorgeous and well kept. The shower we had didn’t feel/look clean and no soap was provided to wash our hands when we got there. We had to buy soap the next day. We had a nightmare with finding one of our rooms as we arrived when the reception was closed, they gave us a little nap in how to find it which had the complete wrong wording/directions. Took us an hour and a half to eventually find it. We think they gave us directions to a different room as we unfortunately woke up other guests trying to get into the room that was described. Very very basic amenities. No hand soap?!
Location was perfect, right in the centre of the old town. The rooms were gorgeous, just a few small issues with them.
Staff were excellent. Coffee and croissant were first class. Meals were excellent. Everybody was happy and courteous.
The noise of trundling restaurant carts early in the mornings. Needed a bedroom mirror.
The website pictures are a bit muddled, and as the rooms are spread over several sites it is difficult to know what you are getting. However what a room, we had room 402. a spacious room, massive bathroom. be ready for your own personal stair case. High quality room, in keeping with the location, so its not plaster boarded, its thick stone walls. slight street noise, but we liked that, plus a jacuzzi bath. The location was perfect, very close to free car park and central to old Alcudia old town. 2 mins to breakfast and reception, 3 minutes to free car park, 3 mins to local tavernas, local supermarket, and the market on sunday and tuesdays. Breakfast is not a full English but you get choice of eggs, boiled, fried or scrambled, plus toast, ham, cheese cereal, fruit, coffee, orange juice, plenty for the start of the day. We eat at Five O diner, absolutely excellent and not expensive. We had to wait 20 minutes because the chicken was fresh and needed to be cooked not microwaved.... Alcudia new town is just a stones throw away by car, taxi or bus. We ate in Alcudia new town/ port, but found thats one to avoid, expensive low quality and Benidorm type microwaved meals.... Stay at this hotel, wander through old Alcudia, an absolute joy.
Road up to Fermentor was scary, and they have now closed it off to coaches only during high season, and i would have liked to have driven the whole way, even keeping the one eye open to the sheer drop....
Excellent location but ...... above Basico beef bbq restaurant. So if you are vegetarian or vegan do not stay here, meat BBQ smell lunch time and all evening .
Above beef BBQ Basico Restaurant. I didn't see a pool either .
Location great , restaurant below rooms very good
A lift for heavy bags.
- Breakfast was good with many options
- Small rooms with old mattresses- Fungies in the bathroom- The description of the hotel is misleading as the swimming pool is exclusively for the suite.
Beautifully presented room in restored old house. Food in restaurant was excellent. We had half board.
Room on ground floor and street corner. In February this was not a problem but might be noisy in summer. TV did not work but we were not there to watch TV.
It was ok value for money.
The bathrooms were tiny, really tiny. The rooms on the town side were ridiculously noise. No staff, it was more like a serviced apartment.
