Hotel Moré

We were able to store our luggage, and get into our room early. Front desk people were very friendly. We walked along the small private beach, and swam laps in the larger than normal pool, and sat on the lounge chairs under the small trees. The location was amazing. The water view from our balcony was beautiful. Many places to hang out. We appreciated the service out to the pool and lounge areas.

You have to carry your luggage up a set of stairs to get to the elevators. The other guests all looked to be much older. My 30 yr. Old daughter said it made her feel like we were in a nursing home. The entertainment in the evening was in the main lobby area with bright lights and folks sitting around in rocking chairs. There aren’t many dining options if you don’t have a car, and the hotel dining area is very institutional looking, again, like a nursing home dining room. We were there at the end of the season, so maybe this has a younger vibe in the summer.

Staff and the location

Rooms should include safe box and refrigerator. It was not possible to leave things in the room without locking them. Meals should include more fish and seafood for those who do not eat meat.

The location is perfect. The pool next to the sea has an amazing view. There is a beach right next to the hotel and you can walk 20 minutes to the next public beach. The hotel is 15 minutes walk to the center of Alcudia. The staff were super nice and the room and facilities were very clean. Breakfast was good. They don't have a private parking but we always found a nearby parking spot on the streets around the hotel.

Although our stay was short, we were disappointed only pizza was being served in the later part of the of the evening for our dinner option. The “lobby” is non-existent. Also, we could hear everything from the rooms above and Nextdoor. Sound proofing is needed!

The location is excellent — close to the old town. The hotel has a beach and two pools. The indoor pool is for adults only, which is excellent. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. It’s quiet at night, with no bars nearby, making it perfect for rest.

The hotel faced the sea that was the best part. The swimming pool and the relaxing areas around the sea were very nice. The hotel had decent breakfast and the bar was well stocked. Much of the staff was friendly. If you are driving town there were some lovely spots 10-15 minutes away like Alcudia beach or Pollenca . You could walk to the Alcudia fort and old town. Once they gave me my sea facing room- the view from balcony was fantastic.

It is a funny kind of hotel. I had booked for sea facing room and paid for it also but they checked me into some room at the back which had no view at all. When I protested they said nothing could be done as Manager was not there (Time was 5 PM) and I could discuss with her the next morning. So for one day I had to stay in a room without sea view without any explanation or previous notice. Next day they asked me to shift in a sea facing room which we did. It is a smallish room where we struggled to keep 2 suitcases. The bathroom was such that you had to open the door inwards fully and then only you could slip in. It was just too tiny. Hated the bathroom. Room had no facilities like fridge, electric kettle or safety deposit box. It did have a safety deposit box but to get the keys you had to pay them for each day. Never experienced this before. You could hire electric kettle but it came without tea bags or sugar etc. For dinner they didn't have A La Carte but a buffet from 7 PM to 9 PM. You could get pizzas etc at the bar otherwise. There was one private restaurant a few minutes walk away called the Red Rum and that was always full at night and on all days we ate out at dinner time - either at old town or at this restaurant.

This was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The location was perfect. The staff went above and beyond. The food was excellent. We will definitely come back!

Beautiful—I can’t imagine a better location! Close to beaches (Sant Joan) and the medieval walls & Pollentia Roman Ruins.

It is easy to walk to the old town of Alcudia, other than that there is nothing within easy reach. This suited us fine as we had a car hire, but it could present a problem for people looking for more options.

No negatives but food is restaurant probably reflective of 3 star rating. Food in bar much improved since our last visit.

Its location, the friendly and very helpful staff, food was delicious and plenty of variety. Everywhere clean and tidy, rooms very clean, bright and functional. Very comfy beds. No onsite parking but easily parked in the surrounding streets.

Beds were quite uncomfortable being 2 single beds and not double bed for a couple. And You can also hear the noises from the other rooms.

Perfect location for us. Could easily walk into Alcudia. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Plenty of choice in the self service restaurant.Room was slightly larger than last time which was better, especially in the toilet/shower area.

Not sure I would want to be there at the height of the season when it would be much busier
