Fantastic room and location. Very friendly staff. At Breakfast, there a live relaxing music by lady. Everything was amazing, except the pool not heated enough.

Pool must be heated.

This is without a doubt one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at – a cosmic blend of luxury hotel standards with the warmth and comfort of home.The service was truly outstanding: on the very day I arrived, my glasses broke, and since it was the weekend I couldn’t find anywhere to repair them. The hotel staff not only connected me with the right place but were also available for every question or request I had.A place like this is rare – everyone should experience it at least once in their lifetime.Oh, and don’t get me started on the food!The rooftop restaurant doesn’t just serve amazingly delicious dishes – it’s a full experience, almost like a show.If you’re there, don’t miss the smoked steak tartare – absolutely unforgettable.

That I didn’t have more days off to spend at the hotel :)

Great selection, freshly made each day. Live music played in the morning harp and violin was a lovely touch.

Loved it all! Nancy took excellent care of us at breakfast! The top floor restaurant is amazing! We had a villa with private pool which connects with the river - absolutely brilliant!!! We will return!

A minor point but on cloudy days, the cloud seem to linger a little around the area of the hotel - close to the mountain tops - whereas the coast was sunny.

From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the genuine warmth and exceptional professionalism of the entire staff. Every interaction felt personal and sincere, making us feel truly welcome.The culinary experience was outstanding from morning to night — with beautifully presented, flavorful dishes at every meal. A special mention for dinner at Le Top, where the cuisine reached another level entirely: refined, creative, and deeply satisfying.The wine list was thoughtfully curated, offering both well-known labels and hidden gems. The sommelier was knowledgeable, approachable, and offered spot-on recommendations that perfectly complemented each course.

Absolutely nothing was wrong

Stunning place to stay! I was disappointed that my friend and I (staying in separate rooms) were put on separate rivers (there are 2 rivers) so we couldn’t swim to each others, despite me requesting we be nearby. They did offer to move us on day 2, after I said I was unhappy, but we had got settled by then, so we didn’t move. Just a bit of a shame they couldn’t have accommodated this initially, especially at the price we were paying. Reception staff were a bit unfriendly at times. The food was also just OK, and the same menu every night/every lunch, was a bit limiting, even over the 3 days we stayed.

Beautiful hotel, very calm and relaxing! Very spacious and comfortable room, which was super quiet. Having your own terrace and pool was the best part and totally worth the cost. Staff were amazing - super friendly and helpful. Great food in the restaurants that was reasonably priced given the quality of the hotel.One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at, not that cheap but perfect for a short break of luxury to unwind and relax. Will definitely come again!

Limited vegetarian options in the restaurants. Our terrace was quite over grown so didn’t get the best sun.

The spa was a haven of relaxation, and the infinity pools were perfect for watching the sunset in absolute tranquility.What truly sets this hotel apart is the attention to detail and the genuine care for every guest. It's the perfect destination for a romantic getaway and total relaxation. We can’t wait to come back!

Second visit rated it 10 last time but only 7 this time Great staff and gardens

Villas 16-22 do not have a roof terrace and only have limited sunshine on them 9am-2pm Asked Rafa the receptionist to move us to a villa with sunshine but wasn’t helpful and used various excuses not to move us!!

Superb quality. Lovely little private garden with plunge pool and river access. Spacious accommodation. Great rooftop pool bar and restaurant. Fabulous breakfast

20 mins walk to La Caleta and nearest restaurants and shops. Small window and disappointing view from bedroom. Main restaurant menu is limited and expensive

The villa was beautiful. Gorgeous property. Infinity pool stunning. Christmas decorations looked amazing.

Nothing apart from a little bit of a walk from anything or a short taxi drive.

Lovely room and terrace and all very private so you're not overlooked by anyone. Staff very attentive. Excellent breakfast in beautiful surroundings by the pool and terrace. Everything you might need in the room has been thought of.

Beautiful rooms, lovely private area with small pools. Breakfast was amazing loads of choice. Spa was always quiet with nice facilities. Some meals were cooked as table service which was a pleasant novelty.

There were very limited vegetarian options for lunch or dinner. For a 5star hotel you would think there would be more choice for non meat eaters but there wasn’t. Very expensive. Some of the staff acted like we were an inconvenience. Some were lovely, but some really didn’t want to be there and it showed.

Service lacking Room service poor ie asked 3 times for ice on one afternoon gave up in the end Mini bar wasnt replenished at all. Service in restaurant was Lacking , they were pleasant but silly niggly things ieBreakfast; no menu offered it was just buffet, but on second we saw that alternatives ie omelette , poached , boiled eggs were available if you asked,but boiled eggs no spoon ask Toast no butter askPairing menu in japanese restaurant not asked if we wanted pairing at all ( food very poor and expensive)also we were sat at a dirty unlaid table when we arrived!( £300 euros ,realy)Upstairs pool bar very slow and we had something bad happen ,Someone returned a club sandwich which was wrongly served to them , we saw it happen , five minutes later we ordered a club sandwich and i joked bet we get theres , we did one minute later , cold and soggy , Waiter denied it, we left !

It doesn’t get much better than those villas - they are just so well decorated and peaceful, super comfortable with the great addition of the pool river. Staff is super helpful and responsive, great room service as well as pool bar

Food quality and variety is the one area of possible improvement to reach perfection. Only one restaurant per night and some dishes a bit disappointing.

The river and grounds are beautiful, the food was excellent and the service was mostly very good

Service was patchy at times. Sometimes excellent and others you had to ask to be served or chase up orders.
