- It is OK, good selection, overcrowded, not really quality food.
- The hotel has a great location very close to the beach. The building is a little dated. Bedrooms and public areas very clean and attractive. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Good choice at buffet breakfast with items being replenished when needed. Bedrooms/bathrooms appeared newly refurbished and were a good size. Lovely gardens, pool area and plenty of sun beds.
- This hotel gets all the basics right - lovely bedroom with beautiful toiletries, pleasant professional staff, great quality and choice of food, nice atmosphere and great entertainment. Food and drink prices are reasonable so guests stay in and enjoy the hotel. Pools are great and sunbeds are plentiful. No wonder guests return year after year.
Cons -
- A bit outdated rooms.
- We were on half board and it was difficult to reserve restaurants as already quite full on arrival, apart from the evening buffet.
- Few English speaking staff. School dinner food. Uncomfortable bed. No kids club

Nice pools. Location good

Good location, nice surroundings.
It was very difficult to find free sunbeds, as they were all taken early in the morning, even though there were no people lying on them.
very nice hotel in very good location
Paying for water in the room
Nice location and clean.
We were turned away from dinner in the buffet restaurant as my husband was wearing smart shorts a shirt and shoes. They changed the rules on that evening but didn’t inform us until we were walking in. It was our last night so he didn’t have anything else to wear. Very disappointed with the manager and his unprofessional approach. He wanted my husband to wear waiters trousers! Plus had a stand up disagreement about it in the doorway. Please bare in mind shorts were acceptable all week and we were informed that upon arrival of our stay they were. Beware !!!!!! The food in the buffet restaurant was also not labelled for allergens correctly either.
We will defiantly be back! Myself, my mother and sister had the best time. It was an amazing hotel staff were so friendly. Food was great and the house keeping had the rooms spotless everyday!
Amazing staff, beautiful food and quality service. Ideal for families with an exit right into the beach.
Now, most holidays have some type of issue like mosquitoes or wasps. Tenerife doesn’t have these issues but it does have a coackroach problem.
Hotel has good facilities, spotlessly clean and in a great location
It's pricey
The location was great, good facilities, very clean, friendly staff
Could have offered more Spanish food rather than just British classics
Position and extremely clean
Reception and restaurant shabby .Terrible interior decoration both in bedroom and common areas
Huge and varied buffets for breakfast and dinner. Very friendly staff at the Sunshine pool bar. Beautiful location. Grounds were lovely. Easy to walk along the beach to see many other beaches, shops and restaurants.
We loved the two specialty restaurants at the hotel, the fusion and Spanish restaurants. However, we were limited to only go to each one time for dinner. I understand that they want to make them available for other guests. However, even if they had space available, we still could only dine there once.
Our recent luxury hotel stay was a truly delightful experience, thanks to the excellent location, food, staff, and amazing entertainment. An incredible luxury hotel located by the sea which was a highlight, with amazing walks and stunning views. The food and choice at the buffet was exceptional and the service was brilliant. The multiple pool area with the fantastic infinity pool looking out to the sea is truly breathtaking and a standout feature that any guest would be lucky to experience. The view alone is worth the price of the stay, and the infinity pool gives the impression of being at one with the ocean. The variety of pools available provides a super range of options for guests. The pool bars are a great addition, offering a wide selection of drinks and snacks to enjoy while soaking up the sun. The menu choice is impressive, with options for both light snacks and more substantial meals. Plenty of WC facilities available which were very regularly cleaned. There was, what looked to be a well stocked gym and spa with plenty of beauty treatments on offer at a good price, which we did not use this time but maybe the next.Additionally, the cleanliness of the hotel was faultless and the beautiful decor added to the luxurious feel. Overall, we had a wonderful and memorable stay.
There were a couple of small shortcomings, the see-through glass panel between the bedroom and bathroom was a major privacy issue and caused light pollution at night which made it difficult to sleep when someone needed .to use the bathroom. The lack of a mirror at the dressing table was an inconvenience. There were not enough sockets available in the room, which made charging electronic devices difficult. These issues slightly detracted from an otherwise wonderful stay at this luxury hotel but not enough to dissuade us from booking another stay.
The Riu Palace is in a great location in Adele extremely close to a lovely beach, with great facilities including three good sized pools . For food both breakfast and dinner menu's providing a wide variety of options in buffet setting. There are also two speciality restaurant's included in the price if booking half board.
There were a couple of snagging items about the room that we have reported to the hotel to resolve - apart from that nothing to complain about.
Good location
so much nosie in the cleaning staff early in the morning in the hallways .
Good food, nice location, friendly hotel, good entertainment, family friendly, great views. Enjoyed out stay
Trousers needed at dinner time in all restaurants was a little annoying as its so hot but it did mean everyone dressed up which gave it an upmarket feel.
not far from airport.next to the sea.
the Gym.
The staff were superb - from arrival to departure we received excellent cheerful service from everyone. The food was great - a super large buffet for breakfast and dinner, with the alternative of two small speciality restaurants, one Spanish, one international. The view from the restaurant out over the sea made the dining experience even better. The music and evening entertainment, outside under the stars, was always something live, sometimes singers, sometimes a band, but always fun. A selection of lovely clean pools and pool bars, and easy access out onto the dark sand beach and the path along the shoreline of the Adeje Coast.
I cannot think of anything - we had a great time.
The rooms were spacious enough for comfort and had a cosy feel to them while still looking very much like a hotel room. The entire swimming area was relaxing to be in and nice to look at. The sea side view from the balcony was also great.
The temperature of the pools was a bit too low for my liking. The large bed we requested was substituted for two double beds stuck together, which was annoying.
