The pool was open 24 hours a day (although with no lifeguard after 6pm). Location was good. Lobby was nice.

Could have been cleaner. The lava rock garden on our room patio contain cigarette butts. The A/C wasn't the best in the world.

Good selection of bread, cold cuts, eggs, fruits and yogurts. Great options for sitting areas, including outside patio. Can open earlier if you need to depart to catch your flight or ferry.

The hotel can invest little more in quality of the coffee and juices offered at the breakfast.

Don't think there was anything we didn't like

We really liked our stay in Alua Hotel. The hotel has been recently renovated, so everything felt fresh, clean, and modern. Lot of food options for breakfast, even for gluten and lactose free diet. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They organized fun activities to do like bingo, quiz night, rooftop yoga, table games, water aerobics, live music. The beach is very close, only a few meters of walk. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel was very quiet, no children screaming, we had a lovely ocean view from our balcony!

The hotel is very big, with a lot of open space, so you need to walk quite a lot to get to your room, but for us, this was not a problem.

Amazing, relaxing hotel. As soon as you walk into the hotel it was an oasis of calm. Complimentary cava on arrival was a lovely start to the holiday after a delayed flight. Every staff member was smiley and chatty and they couldn’t do enough to help. We had a problem with our safe not opening and they were up within minutes to solve the problem. Lovely sea view from the balcony. The whole hotel is nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. We were only bed and breakfast but the breakfast had plenty of choice and we had lunches at the pool bar which were all fresh and reasonably priced. The cocktails of the day were always lovely. The location is perfect too. 100% recommend the hotel.

Rooms far improved from last year. Clean and spacious. Only downside was the noisy lift outside room. Like a clanging metal noise

Brilliant location and central to everything. Fantastic breakfast with so much choice. The hotel was spotless with excellent, friendly and helpful staff. We always got a sun bed no matter what time of the day. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very close to the beach, renovated and nice hotel. Good staff, clean and shiny rooms. Child free accommodation. Great choices for breakfast, good choices for lunch and dinner. Reasonably priced "all inclusive" option.

Maybe a bit better meat choices for lunch/dinner would help.

The hotel is spotlessly clean. All the staff are really kind and helpful, they all work so hard. The restaurant served amazing food- we were all inclusive and every meal there was a selection. Bar staff very friendly and the cocktails of the day were great! Room was spacious with a large bathroom and balcony. We had a superior room with gave us a sea view. Nor the best view but all good ?

There is a strange set up with the layout of the building and you often had to walk around the building to get back to your room or the bar as doors were shut and you couldn’t access it from the inside. The AI cocktail choice was a bit limited and a pina colada was just a prepared syrup poured from a bottle. Not worth it!

Breakfast was excellent - buffet style. Lots of choice.The location was good in that we wanted a decent walk from the hotel to La Caleta.The buffet supper was great.

The very loud music between 9pm till around midnight. Not sure where the noise came from but we couldn’t easily get to sleep because of it.

We were upgraded to a lovely room as previous room had wifi issues and noisy as above entertainment, The receptionist that sorted it all was Florence what a lovely lady she was so kind ,never come across a better receptionist,

When we arrived 20th January 2 receptionists one as I said Florence fantastic but other one rude and unhelpful obviously in the wrong job!! The policy of not!!!reserving sunbeds absolute joke,If you don’t go and get one before 9am there all reserved, my husband gets up early our room overlooking pool man putting towels on bed 4.30am! it’s so wrong and easy to fix lock the bloody doors so annoying!! Also breakfast ok but dinner very poor let’s the hotel down badly,
