Chatur Playa Real Resort

Staff were kind and helpful. Heated pool for adults, breakfast, lots of soft drinks and coffees to choose from. Bar was well stocked and you can specify single drinks. Bed was comfortable. Large balcony. You get what you pay for. Provided gluten free bread when you asked for it. For dietary needs food was labelled. Rooms cleaned most days. Easy to request clean towels. Sky bar for adults is peaceful. Lots of sunbeds to choose from.

Food labels didn't always match the food on offer. Decided to eat out for the last 3 nights. Many sunbeds could be done with a clean. There was lots of paper/plastic cups blowing about around the pool, but that was because holiday makers didn't put them in the bin. The rooms were noisy, you can hear people arguing/ talking, going to the toilet, moving furniture or opening doors.

Good location, variety food,nice and quiet

Room was ready after 3 pm. Except Pamela , reception staff was rude, especially the small skinny man. They are not trained to smile and to give politely information.

The food was good and there was variety. The junior suite room was big and spacious. 4th floor was quiet and the sky lounge was kids free

First, they gave us a cheaper room to the one we booked.Then gave us keys to an occupied room so we walked into someone who shouted at us.Spa was not working for our whole 5 day stay. No compensation for that.Gym has no equipment or aircon.They also don't have cleaners on Sundays.

The breakfast was super delicious, plenty of of choice. Location was great easy to walk around

Food bland and served cold , children in adults only jacuzzi treating it as paddling pool staff not interested, pool bar supposed to open at 10 am again staff not interested , property in need of refurbishment and a general deep clean .

Lovely, hardworking and attentive staff. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Lunch and dinner had a reasonable selection. The location was a short walk to shops and restaurants. Pool area had plenty of sunbeds.

Breakfasts. Found the cooked breakfasts a bit greasy. The fruit juices weren't great. The all-inclusive wine wasn't great and the cocktails were ready-mixed from a machine which weren't very nice. They could do with someone keeping the pool area free of litter as there were some guests who left their litter by the sunbeds.

Excellent staff very helpful, arranged my specific requirements swiftly and efficiently.

Not as advertised and fell well below the expectations of a regular visitor to the Playa Real. The only bar open in the evening was the pool bar and was required to drink from paper cups. In previous years I had become accustomed to a choice of indoor bars, with regular performers for guest enjoyment. If this is alteration to the facilities is permanent, I regrettably will not be returning to the Playa, a shame as I have enjoyed several holidays there in recent years. My concerns were expressed to the management at the time,without resolution.

I found our room and staff very helpful. The state of the pool area and restaurant was really disgusting. Guests have no respect when it comes to rubbish on the floor and the staff should be more conscious of this and hire more staff to go round cleaning up. We saw cockroaches round the pool. The restaurant is so noisy it’s like being in a school canteen. Definitely not a 4 star establishment.

Staff were amazing, very helpful, whatever we needed they were always there for us.Food in the general all inclusive restaurant was very tasty, plenty of choice, a lot of it.All clean and comfortable.

A la carte restaurant - poor quality, very poor variety, very disappointing. The gym was not really well equipped and only opened from 10 till 18, the hottest hours of the day, while I wanted to use it early in the morning.Terrible whisky...

Staff were brilliant and the facilities were great.activities were fun and well planned out.

The lifeguards at the pool (while a tough job to do) could have been a bit more lenient with the kids with their lilos etc.

The hotel was exceptionally clean the staff were constantly cleaning

Food menu was not very varied.

The apartment was spacious and very clean

Only having one key card to enter room , it meant we couldn't charge our phone when we would leave the room as we had to take the card with us.

The staff was really nice. The room was ok and clean but we were only two of us in a family room and had to walk a long way from the reception. We are couple over 70 years old.

You advertise wifi connection but there was not any. We had to do some work using the wifi which was not possible.

Food average and repetitive.Hotel dated No green space - needs more plants etc Italian restaurant to pre book had very little all inclusive options and dessert was chocolate or strawberry ice-cream !

Won’t be re booking

Bedroom was a very poor decor. The painting looked like it had been done by a two year old child. The room had a glass panel divider, and lots of paint on the glass. There was a dangerous step from the bedroom to the lounge.Furniture on the balcony needs upgrading.Overall the furniture was basic and needs upgrading

All the staff were very friendly and professional. The all inclusive restaurant served nice food, which was well presented. One of the pools was heated therefore it was a comfortable temperature most of the time (visited in Feb). The hotel wasn't too big or vast which we appreciated and overall it was ideal for young children. We will definitely consider this hotel again.

They could improve the food offering by including more vegetarian main dishes.
