Nice comfortable roomy apartment quietly positioned up the hill in la caleta but not far to walk to beach friendly staff
cold swimming pool average food for some you may need transport to dine out we enjoy the walk
Quiet, nice pool area, good fresh breakfast.
Villa had A LOT of bugs, ranging from larger ones to tiny ones all around the kitchen. Also only provide coffee for one day; then you have to buy yourself!!They also hosted a wedding and closed half the pool area, the restaurant too: and the music went on until late. Nothing offered to reimburse paying hotel guests!!
Beautiful and spacious villas. Nice pools. Friendly staff.
Probably the cleaning can be improved, especially floors and carpets in the villa.
Staff were amazing, breakfast was amazing, extremely clean and beautiful villa
Only downside was lack of bad facilities in the evening
Amazing apartment. Clean , big bed and bathroom. Outside space superb. Sea and pool view. Tranquil. Amazing breakfast
Bed was too hard for my taste. Sometimes music around pool too loud
Villas were lovely. Good breakfast & staff were very helpful. Location was great, near the restaurants in La Caleta.
Clean and beautiful apartments
Lifeguard not always around at the pool
Beautiful apartment, lots of space for a one bedroom, inside and out. Very clean and well maintained, good quality furnishings.
Felt the bar and food prices a little expensive, Supermarket on site was closed too much.
Beautiful looking villas surrounded by luscious and meticulously kept tropical landscaping. The hotel is spread over quite a large area with a lot of hills, but the staff will happily chauffeur you to your room in a buggy as often as you like. This is a pro for me but maybe a con for others - the hotel is very quiet, relaxing and tranquil, even moreso in the evenings. Do not go there to expect to party/socialise but to enjoy peace and relaxation. We booked a standard room and this was the largest standard hotel room I have ever stayed in. It had 2 floors, 2 showers, a bath, 2 toilets and a kitchen. Terrace accessible from downstairs is the same size as most modern hotel rooms and featured a sofa, coffee table, dining table and two loungers. All with stunning views of the mountains and sea. Upstairs also also had a balcony. The room was spotless and cleaned to a high standard. WiFi in the room was great, and generally good across the whole hotel complex. In short, the rooms are amazing. The hotel has 3 pools on 3 different levels in the centre of the hotel. There was no problem in getting a lounger directly at the pool at any time of the day. Pool and it's surroundings were very clean and the loungers very comfortable. Parasols available for every 2 beds. Pools get sunshine throughout the day without almost no shade. Overall, pool. experience was excellent.Breakfast buffet was excellent. Food was good to great at the 2 restaurants, we never had a single bad experience dining.Perhaps the best thing about the stay was the staff. Every single member of staff is courteous, obliging and friendly. They work exceptionally hard to make you feel that you are well cared for in their hands. I would especially like to thank Anastasias at reception; Fernando and Hugo our bellmen; and Juan, Giselle and Diego at La Torre who delivered a custom birthday cake to my son which made the evening very special.
My main criticism is that the main restaurant is closed Sunday - Tuesday, I wish I had known this beforehand. Also both restaurants have limited capacity, so booking is essential - this can be a problem if you need to eat at a specific time for young children for example. Ideally we would have preferred to eat at La Torre every evening and a time most convenient for us. Luckily, the staff were accommodating in allowing us to take our table earlier than our booking time. Secondarily, the mini-mart and the spa are both closed on Monday and Tuesday, I wish this information had been more readily available. Also on booking.com the room was advertised as having a sofa bed but this was not the case.
Very impressed.Fantastic staff.EXCELLENT villas, very spacious and premium feeling.Great breakfast.Lovely pool.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Very clean and breakfast was excellent.
Very spacious and comfortable. Staff were great. Pool is really nice and was warmed up really well for the kids. Kids club is amazing. Really well done with great activities.Breakfast is good.
Food options are not great, and very overpriced. The Oasis restaurant is a really nice setting with good service, so it is a shame that the food quality is very very low, especially for the price. The local town has some very good options for restaurants and is easy to park - so it is better to eat out. This is a shame for the hotel S it would be nice to have some better options to stay in too.
Short way to la caleta, great breakfast, peaceful place, very clean and very helpful staff. Would love to come again.
Breakfast was really good as were the lovely areas you could sit in to eat it.
Better coffee and hotter water for the tea
The property was beautiful with lush greenery and beautiful flowers. It had a ping pong table that kept my teens busy for hours. The half board was perfect for us with the option to take lunch instead of dinner so we could try the local restaurants. The staff was aware of my son’s food allergy and took great care of him, always making sure he knew what he could eat. The hotel is a bit out of the way but we loved that. The tourist area is packed with hotels, restaurants and shops. This area was not. We enjoyed it so much we plan to return again this year!
I wish at least one of the pools was heated. It was too cold for me to enjoy but there were some other brave souls who did.
It is absolutely beautiful. Everything is pleasing to the eye and is so clean. It wasn’t crowded even though it was full so it was easy to enjoy every part of it. None of this fighting for loungers round the pool - we got one even though we never went to the pool until around 1pm.Breakfast is fabulous. I can’t think of anything they didn’t have. Get there either before 8.30 or after 9.30 to avoid the more crowded/noisy breakfast experience. Although we went in February half term so this may not be applicable in term time.About the walk from town back to the resort…I totally get that a hill is difficult for people who are older or have mobility issues so I’m not including these people in my next comment. No wonder we have an obesity crisis - yes there’s a hill going up to the resort. My heart rate rose when I walked up it. It is not strenuous, it’s a hill and it felt great to walk up after dinner. Most people should be able to walk up this hill and not be affected by it. The huge benefit is that you’re in a quiet resort with wonderfully views
The Blue Oasis pool restaurant. I have no idea why it gets good reviews. Food was awful (the curly fries were nice), some of the staff really grumpy (except the young ones - they were sweet). It’s London prices for steak without any of the quality. Sirloin is on the menu but it’s clearly rump. We ordered room service one night as our son wasn’t well and we’re so disappointed that the food has to come from there instead of the main restaurant.
our 5th visit! love the setting, the pools and gardens are beautiful. staff couldn’t be more helpful. excellent breakfast.
nothing! love it all !
