    • Room sizeLocation
    • The room were very spacious and decor modern and well maintained. The beds were really comfortable. Breakfast was great, lots of options. The staff, particulalrly at reception, were very friendly and helpful. The facilities like the pool and spa were great.
    • Location was close the the beach and restaurant area. Gym was decent

    Cons -

    • Long trousers dinner polisy without previous warning/notice given for ordinary dinner nights.Minibar/Fridge in hotel room being empty- meant to be 5 star hotel.Lack of water in room, 1 x 1l bottle for 3 persons room isn’t sufficient and not 5 star standard.Lack of coffee capsules, 6 capsules supplied for 5 nights break isn’t sufficient.Bar service and atmosphere can be certainly improved as very quiet.Pool management- Towel battle on pool sun loungers at 5 star hotel to secure space in 2025?. All seats taken with hardly anyone around somedays.
    • Just a couple of minor things. The lift that enabled people with any disability to get down to the main pool, was out of action because of refurbishment works. This made it difficult for my elderly mother to get to the pool. I overheard another guest complaining it would prevent her elderly relative getting to the main pool. I'd advise to get the pool access via lift confirmed with the hotel before booking. When we arrived at the hotel I asked reception if the spa had a sauna and steam room and was told there was neither. We didn't go to the spa until the last day to use our free pass, and found it had both. We would have probably upgraded our stay to include access if we had known. Anyone on reception should know about the spa facilities, given its a 'spa & wellness' hotel.
    • Not clean. We found 3 cockroaches inside the roomStaff did not bring the free water bottle to our room; we had to call them every day to bring itAt check out; receptionist charged us 100 EUR additional fees for a room upgrade although we did not upgrade our room the entire stay. They removed it from the bill after we highlighted it. Be careful, always check the bill at the end.

Beautiful pool area with tropical feel. All the service staff are really very lovely. The San Sebastian Gold Level is relaxing. The location is excellent. Right onto the beach, near restaurants, taxi rank and shopping. Everywhere smells lovely and the decor is generally very nice.

Don't assume the images are the room you're going to get. I booked the suite based on booking.com images which showed bright, modern, open plan decor with lots of windows. The first room they gave me was apparently still the same level suite but didn't feel as such, it was an apartment style, more corporate, felt smaller due to the room separation, looked out at a house and didn't let in much light. Additionally there were hairs around the bedroom and bathroom.I was moved the next day to a room closer to the images but not quite as nice. It had a much better view of the pool though and was spotless. What I came to learn though is that it was directly over a construction site for a new restaurant. I only came to learn this after I had unpacked and settled as they moved me in during lunch time. The next morning i was woken up at 9.15am by drilling which lasted the day so I couldn't use my room at all, the next day it started at 8.35am! I rang reception to complain but it only then paused until 9am, on a Saturday! I ended up getting very upset when asked at breakfast how my stay was because at this point I'd barely slept or been able to spend time in my room that I had paid a lot of money for.The staff and management were very quick to react and console. They provided me with day access to the gold level area so I could rest away from the noise and refunded an appropriate amount of my stay. They accepted the faults and didn't argue against me as they admitted they couldn't which I really appreciated as I'm not usually one to complain. I appreciated their handling of the situation. If I was highly active/touring etc and an early riser it may have been less problematic but I had booked the suite specifically to use the room as I suffer with illness and need rest often.

    Location and cleanliness.

Shortage of bar staff in pool area. Not enough choice of restaurants. Tried to get pre dinner drinks on evening and no bar open. Also no atmosphere in lobby area.

I had a lovely, lovely stay. I would definitely book again. Loved staying right by the beach. A special thank you to Idaria at reception who was supper professional and helpful. The level of service exceeded my expectations - thank you! Little things that stood out - live music being played in the restaurant during the dinner - I kept finding little chocolates on the bed - complimentary water and tea/coffee making facilities - the overall cleanliness of the property - quality of the toiletries

location of my room (with seaview) quiet and not to close to pool area

I stayed at your hotel 4 years ago.. and the look of the room could use a refreshing coat of new color and new pillows !That could help to let your rooms live a few years longer before refurbishment...

Clean, friendly staff, good food breakfast and dinner, pool area, bars, entertainment, great location.

Ordered side sea view and paid for it, but got none, did not see the sea. Not a good start. We asked for another room as there was a cloak/sewage smell in the room and did not get another room for 10 days and no attempt was made to find us another room. The smell was fixed first after like 6 days, same with broken light bulbs. Room service failed two times to bring water and coffee first time it came when I asked for it at the reception, second time I had to ask twice and it came around 22:00. One in the group was handicapped and we asked for a two seated scooter, but they do not offer it, only one seat, despite they are all over in the neighbourhood. There was a construction in action in our building, so there was noise and dust and we were not even apologised for the inconvenience. We had to ask for two extra chairs at the balcony, there is only one uncomfortable plastic sofa. Slow service at the roof top bar, we waited over 1/2 hr. staff doing their best but are undermanned. I had complained but no manager showed interest in our experience. Overall not a 5 star experience.

Very good overall. Very nice staff.

The breakfast experience is not as good as the Bahia Del Duque, which has a nicer, more sun exposed facility with a wider/better variety of fresh fruit and seemingly more available staff. The staff however were extremely pleasant. The bathtub in the bedroom is a very unusual arrangement and not suitable for families, who might require privacy. Similarly the toilet door setup lacks privacy.

Beautiful pools, nice and clean. Very attentive and pleasant staff, always assisting but not pushy or invasive.Lovely rooms, very large and comfortable beds. The buffet meals were excellent. I travelled as a family group and we were all very happy with the stay.

The quality of the hotel facilities and food was great

I had booked a room with two single beds for my friend and I upon arrival we were given a room with a double bed. When I challenged this I was told they had no information about two single beds , they said they would try to sort it out and let me know what was happening which they didn’t, after several hours I called reception and was told that as the hotel was full we would just have to make use of the sofa bed for that night and they would change rooms the next day. I then had to check out of the room after breakfast and wait for a new room to be allocated in the afternoon.

I’ve stayed before so knew it was nice..sure was amazing.

I didn’t like the fact we weren’t told about the noise from the builders and we spent our time around the pool.. very little staff.. you have a buzzer to call for drinks and no one ever came in 4 days.. so why have them?
