Went here for my honeymoon but was poorly treated and was not allowed into hotel without ID as I was mistaken for one of the guys selling bags outside the hotel which was a form of racist profiling due to my colour

The location was very nice and our room overlooking the ocean was beautiful.

Having celiac disease and not able to eat gluten was difficult at this property. The staff wasn’t well informed about guests like me. If they fix this, we will definitely go back. I also wish the baggage room was more secure.

Staff was polite.

Wifi was absurdly complicated to connect. Why so many steps? Why registering again?

Our family had such a beautiful experience at this hotel, and the number one reason was the staff. They are some of the most caring and affectionate people we have ever met. I especially noticed how attentive they were with children ..one staff member was even singing to a little kid while walking the family to their table. It was such a sweet, genuine moment that showed how naturally kind they are.Their warmth extended to us adults as well. To be honest, I would return to this hotel just because of the staff. They made us feel welcome, safe, and truly cared for,something you don’t always find.A special thank you to Carlos(bartender), Paolina(such a lovely person), Diana, to the manager(im guessing he was manaher) who was often present in the restaurant, and the "bald host" at the restaurant entrance (I’m sorry I don’t remember your name). Each of you touched our hearts.The hotel itself is beautiful , clean, calm, and surrounded by breathtaking views. But the staff is what makes this place unforgettable. I truly hope the hotel understands how precious these people are.We left with full hearts, and we cannot wait to come back.

We found sometimes plates that were not so clean. So few times we had to change. I'm sure some pieces of food stayed on the botton of the plate and its not so easily visible. So it would go to the plate under it.

The spacious room and balcony, the meals and evening events offer, the position and view.

Never enough sunbed already 8 o'clock morning impossible to catch empty one coz everywhere towels for reserving for later use. To the restaurants impossible to reserve place even day prior too (although the main restaurant have good meals/diverse meals)

the food, drinks and entertainment were not very good. all buffets even in restaurants that required a reservation. not much variation in food. very limited bar selection with no top shelf liquor available

We had a wonderful stay at Riu Buenavista.The room was cozy and tastefully decorated, with a large, super comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom with double sinks and a powerful shower.Everything was clean and well-kept, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful.Beautiful sea views and a relaxed atmosphere made it a perfect escape.

There’s nothing we could complain about — just a perfect, relaxing experience.

I recently stayed at this beautiful hotel and had a truly wonderful experience.The property is stunning, with several pools to choose from, and my room offered a breathtaking view of the sea.Everything was maintained at a very high standard, from the spotless room to the exceptional service provided by the staff.The reception team was extremely professional, welcoming, and always ready to help with any request.Housekeeping was equally impressive — the rooms were prepared with great care and the cleaning staff was incredibly polite and respectful.

The food was tasty, although breakfast options remained the same each day, which could be improved.

The facilities were really good, with several pools and open spaces. The location is great, right by the sea with front view of La Gomera.

The food was a bit disappointing. It is true that it is an all inclusive hotel and one knows the quality won’t be as good as if you pay for the food, but I found it worse than expected. Most of the things were tasteless. On the other hand, most of the sunbeds are “reserved” by people from 8 am in morning by simply putting a towel on top. Then most of them are empty for hours. The hotel has a policy (written in the rules) to avoid this behavior, but no one enforces it.

Lovely hotel. Food was excellent. Plenty of bars. Loads of sun beds and places to sit.

Hotel is excellent- clean, fantastic facilities, top notch entertainment. The buffet was very good. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. We will definitely return.

Next time we will book a sea view apartment!

Food was good, room was spacious, comfy beds, neo party was great, kahoot also good fun.

We asked for ocean view, but got only partly seen ocean view, room was not clean, floors were not mopped for all our 10 day stay, there was no drinkable water in the room, to get it we need to go to reception… towels looked used too much, some even had holes in them, alcohol was something local, wine was not drinkable, so we switched to prosseco, but it was very weak. Food was good, but there was not a wide variety of vegetables and fruit, not for 4 star hotel. Swimming pools water was warm, but is very salty, and ruins hair after swimming in it for 10 days.. overall I would not give this hotel 4stars, closer to 3
