Pros +
- Location, cute room, amazing property!
- Very nice location. Nice well equipped cabin. Nice continental breakfast.
- Large, comfortable, well appointed room. Lovely wooded setting in the mountains (though near a train line). Excellent dinner in the restaurant.
Cons -
- The washroom sink was completely clogged. It was not fixed despite reporting to the front desk. I had visitors staying here from out of country. When we pay such an exuberant amount of money we expect that the rooms are inspected and in working order.
- Freight trains ran directly behind the property every few hours. They did not bother us a lot because we were toward the front of the property, but the trains diminished the otherwise serene and woodsy isolation of the hotel.
- Bistro only open for the evening meals, bring breakfast stuff and go exploring for lunch.
